You do not seem to have understood my question. You quoted Jesus who said "those who believe in him will never die."

I asked what happens to those who stop believing, and reminded you that Jesus told us, those who look back, i.e. take their eyes off Jesus after first believing are not fit for the Kingdom of God.

You yourself confirm we can loose our salvation when you quoted Hebrews 10:38 that says, "if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him."

Proof, if proof were needed that even though we once were saved we are not always saved. This from Jesus himself and the writer of Hebrews.
ill note this is a false understanding from you

no that is not what that verse means

yes i did fully understand your question

a genuine faith endures
this sort of faith leads to being adopted as a son

a flimsy false temporary faith does not lead to being a son of God <never born again

these people believe of God not in Him
or these people just pretend
or these people have knowledge of God like the reprobates

but no

if they were of US (saved born again believers) they no doubt would have continued with US

and we (saved) are not of THEM who fall back

but we (saved) are of THEM that believe unto salvation

again read the context

and stop adding your false understanding

1 John 2:19
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

hebrews 10
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

I said what the scripture says, - with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10

so if I do this I am saved forever right? Can you answer? It is not that hard a question, yes or no or maybe will sufice with a brief explaination as to why you answered the way you did.

So who are you accusing?

We all agree with this verse? Why do you people think you can just come in here and throw verses around and think people are not going to confront you as to why you posting a verse?

You evidently think people in here disagree with this verse or you would never have posted it.

Now are you going to answer my question or not.

If I in faith call out to God as romans 10 states, and I saved forever or not?
He doesn’t like to answer questions but he sure likes to play games.

Do you believe a born again Christian who lives in sin, has eternal life?

I believe what John said, A person who lives in sin has never seen God or known him.

So I believe a born again person CAN NOT live in sin, because again as John said, His (gods) seed (the HS) remains in him so he can not sin

My question is about the righteous man who turns from his righteousness?

Ezekiel 33:18 “If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it.”

Clearly OSAS is a fallacy.

usually when people do not answer they either

1. Can't
2. Know the question exposes them, so instead of repenting and admitting they are expose, they run from it, and refuse to answer

this is usually followed with attacks on the people who ask them the question, in a feeble attempt to discredit them.

It seems to be the modus operendi of quite a few, I am sure you culd name them, many are not here anymore because they anger got them in trouble

how are you going to use a verse about a man under the law (not having the imputed righteousness of Jesus) which means 1 sin = guilty of whole law = unrighteouss to say an adopted son of God gets thrown in the lake of fire

3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
1 John 2:3-6

Those who are "in Christ", who do not produce the fruit of righteousness and holiness, are removed from Him, and cast into the fire and are burned.

Same John -

  • Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; John 15:2

  • If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:6

Unfruitful Christians who are in Him, must produce the fruit of righteousness, holiness and love, or be removed from Him.

This is obedience to the Gospel: Repent, turn to the Lord in submission to His rule and authority.

A born again Christian is one who has been forgiven of all His sin. Not in part but the whole.

Christ paid the eternal wage in full. He recognizes that if any man say they have not or do not sin ...they make God out to be the liar .

If God would take into account even one sin, who could stand before our mighty God and receive mercy and grace . The other option is to crucify him daily subjecting him to public shame as if one work was not enough to satisfy the just demands of His perfect law

Hebrews 6 King James Version (KJV)
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Better things accompany salvation, actual redemption and not a kick start placing a person to where Adam and Eve before they sinned by violating one law. They were found guilty of violating the whole . The wage must match the gift .No partial salvation. Wonder not a man must be born again.

9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak Hebrews 6:9

ok, so it is more than just calling out on the name of God, It is continuing to work. As I suspected and as people have been saying all along.

Thank you for proving you preach works.

I know that I have eternal life

1. Jesus promised it to me (john 3, john 6 and many other passages)
2. John said I can know I have it
3. The bible also says that I have been perfected forever (heb 10) even while I am in the process of being sanctified.
and
4. it said that since God started the work of sanctifying me, that that great work he started in me, He will complete it up until the day of Christ,

and If I had any doubts

He gave me the spirit in my heart as a pledge of my salvation until the day of christ or the day of redemption or the ressurection, when I will be glorified.

I suggest you learn the difference between the 2 judgment days.

1. Bema seat - given to believers only, a seat where the judge gives rewards, We will all have our works tried by fire, but even if all our work is burnt, we will still be saved as though through fire. (i cor 12)

2. Great white throne, Death and hades (not paradise) are delivered to Christ for judgment, they are all tried for their works, and found wanting, because no matter how many works they may have, as jesus said, Depart from me FOR I NEVER KNEW YOU. No believer will take part in this judgment seat, A believer is promised to be ressurected by Christ, not delivered to him.

Ezekiel 33:18 “If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it.”

Clearly OSAS is a fallacy.
The thing is that a righteous man will never turn from his righteousness because it was imputed to him by God and God changes not. It states in the bible that Jesus did not lose a single one trusted to His care by the Father. Jesus also promised that He will neither leave or for sake you. OSAS is certainly not a fallacy and as such is not predicated upon whether or not one truly believes that their salvation is secure.

Gods people keep his word. those who have never seen God do not. Although they can still do works of obedience (appear) as shown by Christ himself when there are people who claim to have done all these mighty works in Jesus name, and jesus says to depart BECAUSE HE NEVER KNEW THEM

If you think the ability to not commit adultry proves your saved, your in serious trouble.

amen, a righteous man is not righteous because he is such a good person (Abraham was called righteous, yet look at all the sins he committed, David was considered a man after gods own heart, he he committed some evil sins even murder)

when we look to the law we all sin and fall short. It is Gods righteousness namey christs given to us which the father seens, Not our own, our righteousness is as filthty rags as the word says.

The word keep is defined as guarding our new born again hearts closely with all our new mind we have in Christ. Only God can keep them without falling. When we do fall he comforts us (repents) by turning us towards him as he brings to mind the things he has taught us... we then after he turns can comfort our own selves (repent) . He does all the work or he does nothing

.No limbo in between.

6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6

Your joking. You mean to say none of the Old Testament saints will be in Glory because they didn't know Jesus. I assume you know who Jesus is?

Here are some people who knew the Lord Jesus Christ and have returned back into the corruption of the world.

2 Peter 2:20 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.

Big fail for OSAS.

Ok, thats a new one.

God does the repenting for us, which means He does the believing for us, which means everyone will be saved.

That is Universal Reconciliation, and is Heresy.
