If you could change your real name to something else...would you? And if so, what would your new name be? Not just first names but middle and last names too.
I like my name some days and other days I do not. To those that know it...you know why. It's a very odd name indeed.

I have my kids' names picked out though. :p I imagine I will have two boys and a girl.
I like classic names that are common since I didn't have that myself.
Peter James
John Luke
and for the girl Madeline....still thinking of a middle name though.

Of course this is all just fantasy. Heaven knows if I'll even have children. But it's fun to think about.
So what do you think? Would you change your name? Are there any names you like but not necessarily change your own? What about your childrens' names?

I would definitely change my name, because I've always hated it. I would go by my middle name. :)

I would change it to Caesar Imperator Lucius Aelius Aurelius Antoninus Commodus Augustus Pius Beatus Sarmaticus Maximus Germanicus Maximus Britannicus Maximus, Pax Orbis, Invictus, Romanus Herculaeus, Pontifex Maximus, Patria Patriae, Amazonius Fortunatus, Consul for the Seventh Time, Imperator for the Eighth Time, Tribune for the Eighteenth Time. Its a short name but I like it.

I probably wouldn’t change my name. I’ve been given names that are within my family, so it’s kind of a traditional thing.

I was named after my cousin who passed away at a young age. And my other names are family names.

I'm not a big fan of my first name, but I don't think I would change it. I like its meaning, which is "fierce warrior." my name always gets mispronounced. maiden name gets mispronounced too! but I like it. it's only 4 letters. then I went on to get married, and now my last name is 8 letters, and a name that gets mispronounced too. smh lol.

I like various names, but I wouldn't change my first name. And although I have no intention of kids, a few names I like are: Boy: Ethan, Max. Girl: Emma, Sidney, Charlotte, Priscilla, Tess. Perhaps future pet names. Who knows?

With pet names I think people can be more eccentric in choosing; like a name experiement. For instance, my boy dachshund I named Mr. Weasley because acts very weaslish. If I had a pig ? I would name him Oinky, or a Squirrel, Squirrely? the Squirrel, for a duck and his wife I would name them Mr. And Mrs. Quack.?❤?

My dog has a human name, but any other pet I'd definitely give it something interesting. I was always partial to Albert Einswine for a pig.

No, I don't think I would change my name. My screen name is cool. I do love the name Tinuviel, but I would never really consider changing my name to that, or naming any kids that name. Too difficult for most people to pronounce :). I love the meaning of my name, and I love that my parent's loved me enough to call me by it. I do have a pen name all picked out, for when I write that book (haha, very funny!) Rebecca Kennedy. It makes for a cool signature, and I think it's catchy. If I wanted it a bit more formal, I would do Rebecca J. Kennedy...just don't ask what the J stands for because I have no idea!!

I really love names :). I kind of collect them, honestly...they fall into a lot of camps. Names I like for potential children, names I like for potential pets, names I like for potential story characters, names I like for first names, names I like for middle names, names I just plain like but never find a use for names I like from books...the list goes on. I like a lot more boy's names than girl's names, but my favorite two from each gender currently are: Nathan Robert, Daniel Paul, Hannah Grace, and Elizabeth Hope. Yes, I am kind of boring. Does it redeem the selection at all to say that I'm crazy about the name Eamon? That's different, anyway, right?

I like my name so much I'd change everyone's name to Max.

And if everyone's name was Max...

it would be a lot easier for me to get away with stuff.

You are of course welcome to try, but good luck with me. I like my name Isaac. Around here you meet a lot of Jims and Mikes and Chrises, but I very rarely meet another Isaac.

If I ever survive an apocalypse, I'm changing my last name to my grandmother's maiden name.

Her family is the one I grew up around and it is their legacy I wish to carry forward. The rest of my heritage is but a genetic supporting cast.

As for my first name, I'd keep it.

My last name is still cool. And the coat of arms/family motto rocks.
