Daily there are people on the web seeking information about God and Christ Jesus. It would be wrong to leave those seekers with the impression that bitterness and false teachings concerning the spirit of Christ.
This resource is excellent for anyone out there who has a key topic, or keyword , they'd like to pursue in matters of scripture and Christian doctrine. It also provides detailed narratives on a subject and sustains those with Biblical scripture.
Does Jesus have a physical body in heaven?
Excerpted: (Sic)"....So, we know that the Christian will have a heavenly body like Jesus’ “glorious body” (
Philippians 3:21). At His
incarnation Jesus took on human flesh, and at His resurrection His body was glorified—although He retained the scars (
John 20:27). He will forever be the God-Man, sacrificed for us. Christ, the Creator of the universe, will forever stoop to our level, and He will be known to us in heaven in a tangible form that we can see, hear, and touch (
Revelation 21:3–4;
22:4). "
I am not aware of that group that would think to teach Jesus is flesh and bone in Heaven. However, to those seekers who may happen on this forum, or this thread, beware anyone who attempts to tell you the truth of God in Christ is that which is in opposition to the word of The Word. That is false doctrine. It will not gain you Heaven. Also, look askance at those who act like the devil when defending their version of the Holy Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.
John 1:1-14 King James Version (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
