I've recently become very curious about the Friends/Quaker beliefs, that's how I found CC. Their nearest church I can find online is over 90 miles away in Ok City and I don't even have a car.
I've attended a few of their services in Cali., and was impressed by their lack of dress code, ceremony, formality and dogma. I can't say I see eye with them on certain issues like no baptism or communion The plus side is the only text they seem to venerate is the Bible and they seem to trust that their followers can receive a word from the Lord and share it without being out of order.
Members don't have agree with all of the few things that they seem to have a public stance on like objection to military service. This form of Christian liberty is very new and attractive to me. I've been saved over 30 years now and I'm fed up with false prophets, heresies and people that want to define God or put God in a box.
I think I'm going to stay in touch with this site for a while, I like it. It never occurred to me to seek Christian fellowship on line before.
That's all folks Calibob
