Just a thought, when listening to rap, can anyone actually understand what they
are saying. Or is it just me who can’t?

I play the violin for the music team at our local assembly. back at my previous assembly, I sang in the music team. I can play the guitar, but I'm not good at it lol.
I haven't kept up with my page at all, but here are some of my songs:

Most bass players don't play well enough to be noticed. Those that do get the attention. Flea. Les Claypool. Two very well known bassists that are talented.
Some use a lot of gutter street-talk/slang and talk really fastIn many cases I can't even figure out what language they are speaking.
Or can you play an instrument? Or write music?
I grew up playing the guitar, and I know the basics of playing the drums (I can hold a beat).
What do you play?![]()
Karen Carpenter was a good drummer.

I can understand most of rap, only because growing up it was a genre that I listened to. Ug is right about some artists are more understandable than othersJust a thought, when listening to rap, can anyone actually understand what they

You’re right with majority of rap mainstream music, but there are minority of actually good gospel rap songs by artists who actually rap about God. I’ll try find them and post them here later brotherI really can't stand rap because it takes very little talent and is usually either violent or sexually explicit. Total garbage in my opinion. Certainly not spiritually edifying either. Yes, a lot of rap you can't even make out the words. Just as well though as they are probably meaningless.
I love listening to live orchestra play! It’s such an amazing experience.I was like you, but at age 37 I started to learn. It's impossible to be part of an orchestra without being able to read music. I my case (viola) it's easy because I play only one note at a time.
