I just got a friend request from someone who I don't remember ever talking to and has no posts in their history. I am a little confused now.

I always deny such requests. It is best to know the member first through their post history and how they conduct themselves in the forums. My friend list became bloated by a lot of peeps that I hardly knew so I pruned them off my Preferred Friends List. Still got a few more to delete but most of the ones currently on it are peeps that I have come to know well, who actually contribute posts, and interact with me. These I genuinely care about.
 
Some guy has just created a thread asking for a vote on whether or not 'A Conversation About Nothing In Particular' thread should be shut down. I really don't think that this thread is going to be shut down because some whack job thinks that it should. He didn't even give a reason either. Cuckoo For Cocoa Puffs. It's OK to describe him that way 'cause it's chocolate.
