Some will say to me on the last day, Have we not cast out demons, and done many wonderful works in your name? And I will profess to them get away from me ye that works iniquity, I never knew you.
The modern church all over the globe is falsifying doctrine that has extreme detrimental effects. They are portraying and confirming the false teaching that one may obtain God's saving grace through a prayer and repentance.
When an unlearned in the Word of God or an unsaved person attends church, the manipulation begins with the structure itself (not always, but it helps) the clergy present a solemn and holy aura, scripture is manipulated, and different other manipulative factors are used.
They get to a point in their ritual where the unlearned or unsaved is most likely to be either guilt ridden or emotionally elevated. They then ask something similar to "Is anyone feeling compelled to ask the Lord into their life ". After whatever sign of recognition is given, they then tell them to say a prayer (which has many, many different variables) and when the prayer is said the church confirms their "sonship" as a child of God. They are told to regularly attend church and ask for forgiveness.
This is the most widespread and most damaging lie in the modern churches today. They are giving countless masses a false sense of salvation.
The now new "Child of God " tries to follow the commandments of, and comprehend the love of God without a true spiritual rebirth. Many labor in their works and beliefs to find no benefit that everyone speaks of. The reaction differs, but you either get a turning away in aggravation, or a false hope of saving faith which will produce no spiritual fruits.
This widespread lie is incresing in damaging more and more from generation to generation. You either have the falling sway to complete unbelief, or a life without experiencing the true promises of the joy, peace, wisdom, and spiritually abundant life God has confirmed for his. The result of either is the lack of desire to teach their children about the Good Lord and Christ's atoning sacrificial death in which which we can all rest in.
I am not saying at all whatsoever that if the Lord can not choose to bestow his grace upon someone's life through prayer. I am saying that teaching it is a sure and instantaneous way to salvation is a lie with detrimental effects, and cunningly paves a highway to hell.
May the damnable offense rest on the deserving.
