Now this is cake to me in celebrating SwellMel's B-day today! Thank you Mrs. P - you BB da best! As I sit here and virtually eat - I prayed this morning in earnest desire for God's will in peoples lives. This was different from instinct of requests you guys suggested...it was my will aligned with God's will to will something of His intentions....and intensity ensued from it, passion ensued as well. And tears of compassion came forthwith as well...I have prayed for your requests by the way, and continue to...
We have any number of instincts, but very few desires. Desire is what you determine in your mind and settle in your heart and set yourself towards as good, and that is the thing God will fulfill if you delight in Him - that is the condition. God deals with us on the line of Character building - "Ye shall ask what ye will," said Jesus; not what you like, but what your will is in; and we ask very few things.
I encourage us to pray yet again today for unto God His will, and for each other as well. May Ephesians 1:18-23 come to life for you in spiritual revelation. Lettuce pray on in aspirations according to God's will and ours.
