Psalm 93 King James Version (KJV)

The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.
3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.
4 The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever.
Psalm 121 King James Version (KJV)

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Psalm 150 King James Version (KJV)

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
Thank you darling - we always appreciate scripture being posted here - that's AWESOME!! (((HUGS)))

Goodnight all, it's time to call it a night. God bless everyone on our thread. God willing I will be back tomorrow.
Good nite to you tourist. Sleep well.

Before I started kindergarten, my folks wondered if I had learned to read on my own. I would go through one of my story books and point to the words and repeat the story verbatim. I really didn't know how to read though. I had just memorized the story.

I was told I had to go to school to learn how to read so the first day after kindergarten I came home and tried to read the newspapers comics. I STILL COULDN'T READ! I was frustrated.

Both true.
Our kindergarten (early 50s) only taught social skills and crafts. They got serious in the first grade. I never bonded much in my early years and don't recall ever had been read to. When I learned you could scribble a message on paper and carry it someplace then retell the message, I was amazed. I thought: "What a great thing, I need to learn that." By the second grade, I was reading. Nothing like motivation.

My nap totally sucked. Maybe its from just lying down on a couch. Should have gone upstairs and take a nap in the bed. Of course, then I may have actually fell asleep and would still be sleeping. It's not good to sleep too much spending your life unconscious.
I like to be a little bit of a night owl and then sleep as long as I can.... once in a while I make it to or past 10:00am.... mostly wake up in the 9am area.
