No, I had not heard of either. The last King book I read was Hearts in AtlantisI once downloaded "ub" on my granny's phone but it's not theor now. I don't have a bank account even worse... i don't spend dollars so i had to download free books on my ub shelves and all of stephen kings book were not free except excerpts.
When i had time, a book per week meant i was busy... i usually stayed up late at night to make sure i finished the book in a day except extra large ones.
My biggest book is the talisman.
Have you read/heard the historian by elizabeth kostovan? I read a little then left my mum's place and when i went back there for the holidays it was gone...... i never got to finish it and it still bugs me
No, I had not heard of either. The last King book I read was Hearts in AtlantisIt was nothing like his horror writing. Kostovan on first glance, oh! The wiki page on her mentions Van Helsing. I liked that first movie. It did not seem like horror to me
I saw that when it came out in 2004, but the subsequent movies did not really appeal to me at all, and I lost interest in the vampires and werewolves. I did really enjoy Anne Rice's vampire tales, in the Lestat series. I read those quite a few times before I was saved. I also enjoyed reading Jean M. Auel's Earth Children series that started with Clan of the Cave Bear. I read those many times also. And Jane Austen. LOL. What a mix
I do not know how many times I have read Pride and Prejudice. Probably about six times
Ken Follett's Pillars of The Earth was highly enjoyable for multiple reads also, and I have watched the mini series more than once too
Atlas Shrugged was over a thousand pages long, but I never could read all of John Galt's speech
A sixty page monologue got tedious every single time LOLOLOL but otherwise, I found Rand's fiction very satisfying

I read Hearts in Atlantis too many years ago. I don't really remember it but don't believe that it was particularly scary. My favorite Stephen King book is Pet Sematary. I named my cat after the cat in the book, Church. She lived to be 19 years old, really sweet affectionate cat. I believe that I read Clan of the Cave Bear too.

Did kostovan act in van helsing or they made a movie of her book with that title? I just watched it last year. Lol. I don't think it was intended to be horror. I love vampire and werewolves.. vampire most... i even tried turning to one myself.. a little extreme , i know but that was then and now i'm here... still love them though but beginning to rethink. I have heard a lot about pride and prejudice but i haven't read it... don't know where to find it. The book i read more than 3 times and still loved it is the fault in our stars by john green, i also watched the movie (hated it). I don't think i'm ready to go for 1000 yet but i think new moon is either up to, more than or almost up to.
I read little in an abundance of Katherines by john green. Good book.
I've been searching for pet semetary.... scary?
I had French in 10th grade and the only word that I learned is 'Oui'.
¿Same as saying sleep tight my friends?Quédate sediento mis amigos.
De nada guapo.... is it okay to call you guapo? Couldn't think of anything else...
Whatever you say chief.Jefe would be better.
Actually, I found it to be scary but that's the nature of Stephen King. My late wife before my current wife lived in Maine and met him quite a few times and talked at length. He lives in Bangor right in the city and is always walking around. She said he was a nice man, easy to talk to and paid attention to what she was saying. A few years he got ran over during one of his walks but recovered.
No going away from the computer is all its 5:53 pm here. Plus, I want to make sure the Sugar commodities on Wall Street are doing ok. If ya know what I mean ... being as how I am such a broker and all....A slight front tip of my non-existent hat.
I'm so jealous.... for the rest, so sad. Sorry about your wife..... how in heaven's name did he get run over?
I'm gonna go too... missing the sugar if you know what i mean, besides, my battery is low and it's 2:13 am.... i wish this dumb stuff was fully charged.... i slept all afternoon for this.
I haven't seen much of her lately at all. She seems very busy these days. Well, time for me to go to bed now. Sorry about the battery. I will pray that it holds a decent charge next time you charge it which will probably be in a few minutes. Good night dear. Don't forget to say your prayers. I will pray for angels to watch over you tonight.![]()

The Clan of the Cave Bear (Earth Children series) books I read over and over again. The Mammoth Hunters was my least favorite of the series; it was the third of six books. When I first got that far, after finishing that book, I thought, oh, I should have read The Valley of Horses again first, before reading Mammoth Hunters, so I read that again, and then I thought, oh, I should have read Clan of The Cave Bear again first, so I read it again, and then I immediately re-read The Valley of Horses, and then read the Mammoth Hunters again, to keep it all in proper order, all in a month LOL. That was probably at least thirty years ago...
