We have 7-11 here, too, and Dairy Queen. I rarely go to either. Once I mistakenly went to DQ thinking I was at the A&W, hoping to get one of their delicious burgers, and ended up with one of the worst fast food meals I have ever eaten. The drink tasted moldy/mildewy, also, and they did not even bother offering to replace it. Their ice-cream cakes are popular, though :D

A & W is rare in Florida but they do have good burgers. I love their root beer too. Good root beer floats as well. I have had an ice cream cake from Diary Queen years ago for my birthday. I do like their slushes too. Sorry about your bad experience. I rarely go to a 7/Eleven but used to quite a bit. The big convenience store chain now in Florida is WaWa. They are all over the place. Good coffee.

How did your surgery go? How long did it take? What did it feel like? Were you on anaesthesia? Howvlong did you spend in the hospital?

I feel weird and dizzy, I think that it's because I didn't sleep well last night. I'm going to go to bed right now. I always enjoy your company. :)

Yes tourist, get some rest. Magenta, just recently my son was raving how good his burger was from DQ. I guess it depends on where you get it. We have gotten too accustomed to have chain fast food to be the same all over. No so with all of them. I would guess that someone doesn't perform to company standards. Back when I was trucking, we avoided fast food places. We would always look for a lot of trucks at independent restaurants, or get a recommendation over the CB radio.
