thanks, i am not a single so inappropriate for me to go there..

Neither am I nor are many of the main posters on that thread. I guess it just sort of happened.

I look at the singles thread from time to time because I was single for a long time and may be able to offer something on occasion.

If I may say, we have some really wonderful married regulars in Singles who give us a lot of encouragement and advice, and we appreciate them very much.

I personally like it when married people "tell it like it is''--that married life isn't all candles and romance, but is a lot of hard work, because as a single, my head sometimes gets caught in the clouds. I appreciate the married people who keep me down-to-earth about how marriage involves a lot of work--and grace.

The only time we've had any real problems are when a few married people tried to tell us that there was something wrong with us for being single, or that we should all somehow be exactly like them (and not acknowledging that we are all called to different things) or do what they did in order to be married like them.

But married folks with positive, loving fellowship (and a good sense of humor! :)) are always welcome.

Please feel free to stop by.

We have a lot of threads that are just for fun, and it's always more fun (and more interesting) when other cool people--both single and married--join in. :)

Hope to see you soon!

I really hope all of us married folks can still be a part of the singles forum. For some strange reason (lol), the best threads ever are in there. The other forums? Not so much.

The real good thing about the singles forum is that folks are a lil bit more laid back than in some of the other forums. You can actually say something wrong, misspell a word etc without being attacked:p. In BDF, News, well, especially those forums, any wrongfully typed word will get you into trouble...which I don't like:(.

The awesome threadmakers in singles makes the place a joyful place to be...not all of us are into threads containing insults, name calling and people screaming "False teacher!" from the top of their lungs:(.

When GOD calls you HE has called you and when HE chooses you, HE has chosen you. No one can change it. The whole universe cannot change it. No matter what they do. For the gifts and the call of GOD are irrevocable.

Hey guys.. I felt the same way all the time but I have a very simple solution... run a mile everyday (or jog or walk it). It will work wonders, i promise!!
Fight tiredness by running until you are tired?

But I have enjoyed this thread very much the last two years. It would be a shame if it were now to die.

Sometimes, don't you just want the Father, to tell Jesus, "It's time. Go get your Bride!"

I'm so done! Are we there yet? Seriously, another day?! LOL! :p

I feel the same way, Singles is more laid back and personal. The BDF is basically a jungle, survival of the fittest.
