It is about losing salvation.

If your faith is never revealed by doing good works, it is dead. If your faith is never revealed, and remains dead until you are dead, you will not have salvation.
Yes exactly what I thought, you are a "works will save you" person.

Here are some synonyms to help, since I am not really sure what you mean.

Reveal...display, exhibit, uncover expose

Validate......verify, prove, authenticate

To say something is valid it must pass a certain number of measures. There are no measures (quantitative) for a regenerated person. If there were God would have given them to us.

I can never truly prove my spiritual status but I can reveal it by my actions, as in give evidence to it, by the things I do, hopefully, I try anyway. :p

Tell us the difference between:
Works reveals faith
AND
Works validates faith

Shame on you for calling me "not a Christian", just shameful.
Several people have said that to me on here and it also received likes, I know that it is very hurtful and so inappropriate.

Shameful indeed, this is what happens when people become fruit inspectors demanding proof.

So so sad.

You pronounce clearly that you are a Christian, but you say things that are unChristian. What should I think?
We might think you would have said similar things to Jesus Christ
when He called people vipers, dogs, swine, children of the devil, etc...

Well God is not a God of contradictions, what you set forth is in direct contradiction with so many scriptures that have cited on this thread time and time again.

The gift of eternal life is eternal life, otherwise it was never eternal, it would have been described as intermittent.

There are plenty of posts on this thread explaining how to understand James it would be well worth your time to search them out, and if you want I can do it for you.

I would give him the benefit of the doubt. It was only your opinion that what was said was unchristian. Perhaps not the best choice of words but does not mean that he is not a Christian. I have said a few things in my life that I wish I could take back but you live and learn and take it from there. TruthTalk is very much a Christian and so are you Benhur.

John 12:42-50 Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they would not confess their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue; for they loved praise from men more than praise from God]. Then Jesus cried out, “When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. When he looks at me, he sees the one who sent me. I have come into the world as a light, so that NO ONE WHO BELIEVES in me should stay in darkness. “As for the person who HEARS MY WORDS BUT DOES NOT “KEEP” THEM, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. THERE IS A JUDGE FOR THE ONE WHO REJECTS ME AND DOES NOT ACCEPT MY WORDS; that very word which I spoke WILL CONDEMN HIM at the last day. For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So WHATEVER I SAY is just what the Father has told me to say.”

Isaiah 5:20-24 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight. Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine and champions at mixing drinks, who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice to the innocent. Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have REJECTED THE LAW of the Lord Almighty and SPURNED THE WORD of the Holy One of Israel.

Romans 3:27-31 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith. For we maintain that a man is JUSTIFIED by faith APART from observing the law. Is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. Do we, then, NULLIFY THE LAW by this faith? Not at all! Rather, WE UPHOLD THE LAW.

Luke 6:46 “WHY DO YOU CALL ME, ‘LORD, LORD’ AND DO NOT DO WHAT I SAY?

None of us is perfect Ben but that doesn't mean that we are not real Christians.
I only used the term "real Christian" in my post because he used "real Christian" in his post #61625.

We ALL say and think things that are unChristian at times. Doesn't mean that we aren't Christians. Just means that we are HUMAN and have faults..

You pronounce clearly that you are a Christian, but you say things that are unChristian. What should I think?

Yeah I know that feeling I can't count how many times I have not been able to edit a bible discussion forum post but there is worse on here quite a few times I have a lost an "entire post" when responding to someone and especially irritating when it takes "alot of effort","could help someone in understanding" or is so very "accurate to the subject".
This site used to be worse and they fixed many issues. They still have a way to go.

I never thought otherwise, but many on his posts and those of decons are rather unkind to people who do not believe exactly as they do. I just think if Jesus were standing next to them as they responded, they would not be so unkind, but would be much more long suffereing and kind.

What? And you have never used an uncomplimentary word toward anybody ever in your Christian life, ever? You just called me a "non-Christian" which is both very uncomplimentary and a shameful lie. If using unfavorable words is the measure of who is and who is not a Christian, I think a lot of people should be very afraid.

Secondly I forgive you for falsely claiming I am a non-Christian.

Just answer the question: If your faith is never revealed, do you have faith? If you do not have faith, can you be saved?

Luke 6:46 “WHY DO YOU CALL ME, ‘LORD, LORD’ AND DO NOT DO WHAT I SAY?
New International Version 1984 Mark 7:6-13 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you HYPOCRITES; as it is written: “‘These people HONOR ME WITH THEIR LIPS, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but RULES TAUGHT BY MEN.’ YOU HAVE LET GO OF THE COMMANDS OF GOD and are holding on to the traditions of men.” And he said to them: “You have a fine way of SETTING ASIDE THE COMMANDS OF GOD in order to observe your own traditions! For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’ But you say that if a man says to his father or mother: ‘Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is Corban’ (that is, a gift devoted to God), then YOU NO LONGER LET HIM DO ANYTHING for his father or mother. Thus YOU NULLIFY THE WORD OF GOD by your tradition that you have handed down. And YOU DO MANY THINGS LIKE THAT.”

Romans 3:3-4 What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith NULLIFY God’s faithfulness? Not at all! LET GOD BE TRUE, and every man a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.”

Exactly one needs a body that is alive and doing things to see faith.

Works reveal faith not validate it.n

It really is that simple, it is not about losing salvation
James stated faith without works is dead and he shows his faith by his works. To me that means true faith produces works. Therefore works is evidence of faith. This is how we are to see the wolves in sheep's clothing. People not watching have allowed all of the top denominations to be taken over by secular ministers. Presbyterian USA for example was taken over in 1932 as Gary North wrote about in the book Crossed Fingers. All of the 7 sisters are now secular. Sub denominations of the 7 sisters are preaching the gospel. They are in a minority though. I doubt that even 25% of the population is Christian.
