Sounds lovely the house though!!! Florida sounds so nice.. orange trees!!!! Wow. I have a niece in South Florida, hubby is a charter boat captain.

I'm doing OK I guess. Florida is nice but the large cities are crowded and the roads congested. I have lived in Florida 25 years but the furthest south I have been is Sarasota which is about 40 miles south of Tampa. I used to live 45 minutes from Walt Disney World in Orlando and have been there many times. Mostly what I have done in Florida is work. Seems like such a waste. That charter boat thing sounds interesting. You are right about the material things too. Yes, I had a nice yard but had very minimal things inside the house, just the basic stuff to keep alive. Slept on a mattress on the floor. I could easily afford a nice bed but didn't see the point seeing how I would be the only one sleeping in it. I have made it a point to travel light on my life's journey.
 
Time to head up stairs now to get ready for bed. Start my 4 day work week tomorrow. I won't be on much if at all for the next few days but will say a prayer for everyone in special morning prayer before I go to work. Sorry that I wasn't in a real festive mood today but there was a lot on my mind. Goodnight everyone.

I think you might've arrived at a good conclusion there Tourist about minimalism. I'm too getting there. I only need what I need. And that's turning out to be very basic :) I once knew had a friend who lived in Miami, and my niece lives nearby Miami. I'd love to visit one day. Helps when moving house travelling light. I've carried so much baggage about. Spring cleaning here and finally getting rid of stuff!! Miracles. Maybe not a waste when living for and with God in your life... So much emphasis is put upon status, and achieving, and 'making it' when I often wonder, what truly matters :) got me pondering now hehe
