How Abraham bargained with God.

He starts with 50 and goes down to 10.
God allows the bargaining.

With regards to Job.

You gotta read it.

It has one my favourite Bible verses


Job 38:22
22 “Have you entered the treasury of snow,
Or have you seen the treasury of hail,

SNOW.

I love snow, yet my understanding is that Job would have no idea what snow was.

We find that God speaks to Job.

He says to him "Brace yourself like a man" (side note if God said that to me I think I would poop myself)

Then God reveals so much.

Then God restored Job.

Truly amazing.

Love your insight, BillG! Lots to ponder..........."the treasury of snow" makes think about all the intricate designs of the snowflake - not one is the same. How incredible!

I never quite considered the treasury of hail. Very interesting!

It was the Samaritan woman at the well. Excellent!

I do believe she was never the same! And, the whole town of Samaritans came to know Jesus as Messiah! Love that story! :)

Divination is also known as telling of the future or fortune telling. It was considered demonic and was mocking Paul as he preached about Jesus. Paul eventually got irritated and cast it out of her. The owners of the slave girl were very upset with Paul because they made money off of her fortune telling.

I wonder what ever became of the slave girl. Perhaps she got saved that day. :)

Hope she did cos seems she was getting exploited by those blokes making money off of her. I wonder if her owners knew it was an unclean spirit...

Reminds me of the Power of God remembering Paul casting that spirit out. Comforting and encouraging :)
