One could make a medical argument that masturbating (whilst not lusting) is in fact taking care of one's body as it's shown to be beneficial. This happens involuntary and is not considered masturbation, but clearly man was created to release, married or not, voluntarily or not.

We do get aroused naturally. But Do we just instinctively know how to copulate? No we are taught. Same with self gratification for the "most" part.

To say one self gratifies for any other reason than lust is absurd. The only reason one does it in the first place is because they have no one at the given moment they started the habit to satisfy them in that manner.
