Ew, I am not under the law. Speak for yourself.
Then you claim there is no law? I believe you misunderstand the issue. Jesus said the law will endure until heaven and earth disappear. If you admit to sinning you are admitting to breaking the law. As the Bible states, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." What Jesus did on the cross is allowing all who sin escape the penalty of sin by accepting Him as their savior!!

Indeed no obligation in the NT as it was in the OT. NOW we are free to show God by our own 'free will and choice if we are WITH HIM or AGAINST HIM !!!
that is how God will judge your heart...based on your own free will....no longer by command !!!
Do you think that choosing another holy day apart from HIS OWN WILL is showing love to God ? nay...it is showing CONTEMPT for HIS CHOICE !!!
Hardly!
SDA doctrine, an evil conconction defines Sabbath worship "the Seal of the Spirit", and Sunday worship "the Mark of the Beast".
In other words the day one worships is the ultimate discriminator between heaven and hell!!!!

Disgusting and evil but SDA doctrine nonetheless....

Of course He did because He was born under the law (Galatians 4:4). Believers are not under the OT law.
Galatians has 6 chapters.

Let's start in chapter one to what is to be understood.

Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

How are we delivered from this present evil world? By the indwelling Christ.

To reveal his Son in us, that we might preach him among the heathen; that they glorify God in us.

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed into Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

We are justified by believing into Jesus. As the Body of Christ; the Temple of GOD it is HE that works in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. It is HIS Spirit; HIS FAITH that enables us will and do HIS good pleasure.

We are crucified with Christ: nevertheless we live; yet not us, but Christ liveth in us: and the life which we now live in the flesh we live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved us, and gave himself for us.

This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ. For we are one as THEY are. Christ in GOD. GOD in Christ and us in THEM that the world may believe that HE was sent. The new ministration. Not of the Letter and Tables of Stone. But of the Heart. Manifestly declared to be the Epistles of GOD!

Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ.

But before faith came, (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.(The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) But after that faith (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ (even we have believed into Jesus Christ). There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ)

For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ). For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) which worketh by love.

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ)

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual (of the Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) , restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ)

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

But God forbid that we should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto us, and we unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. (of the Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) For We are crucified with Christ: nevertheless we live; yet not us, but Christ liveth in us: and the life which we now live in the flesh we live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved us, and gave himself for us.

Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

And What is this Faith to which PAul through Christ speaks?

For the LORD our GOD will circumcise our hearts and the hearts of our seed. For righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ (GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law. In other words the Word; the Divine utterances. The Word manifested in the flesh; Christ) down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ (GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law. In other words the Word; the Divine utterances. The Word manifested in the flesh; Christ) again from the dead.) But what saith it? The Word (GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law; the Divine utterances; Christ, the Word manifested in the flesh manifested in our flesh) is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart and in thy hand: (that thou mayest do it) that is, the word of faith, which we preach. And that my friend is the GOSPEL. Christ in us the hope of Glory; GOD!

(Gal 1:4,16,24;2:20,16 3:2-3,11,23-28; 4:4-6,19;5:5-6, 14, 16-21,24-25, 6:1-2, 7-8,14-15; 2Co 3:3-5; Rom.10:6-8; Deut 30:6,10-14)

Indeed! The Ministry of reconciliation. We have been reconciled to GOD. No longer of the letter but of the Spirit! We through Christ are a Holy Nation; a particular people zealous of Good works through HIS indwelling power.

Through the Gospel we now keep the Sabbath as GOD did. We simply Rest from our own works. As is a direct comparison. So how doid GOD rest from HIS works. HE stop working on the Seventh Day. So we stop our working on the Seventh Day.

GOD is always at a Spiritual Rest as we are supposed to be in HIM now through Christ. GOD is always Spiritually working as we are supposed to be in HIM now through Christ. . He did not enter into a Spiritual Rest on the Seventh Day, HE ceased from work. The work of Creation. Because HE did HE memorialized it by blessing it and Sanctifying (setting it apart) it. Did HE do this for HIMSELF? NO. The Sabbath was made for man.

When was it Made? Day Seven of Creation.

No, that's your perverted SDA gospel of salvation by "grace plus law, faith plus works." :(

Romans 10:5 - For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, "The man who does those things shall live by them." 6 But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?' " (that is, to bring Christ down from above) 7 or, " 'Who will descend into the abyss?' " (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."

*Also see (Romans 3:22-28; 4:2-6; Galatians 2:16; 3:10-14).

Romans 3:24 - being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Romans 5:10 - For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. :)

The GOSPEL is the "good news" of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16). To BELIEVE the Gospel is to trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of our salvation.

As a result of believing the Gospel. Ephesians 1:13 - In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise.

The Gospel is not a set of rituals to perform, a code of laws to be obeyed or a check list of good works to accomplish as a prerequisite for salvation. Ephesians 3:1 - For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles— 2 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, 3 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, 4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), 5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: 6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, 7 of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power. 8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; 10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, 11 according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

We are under the law!! Jesus said the law is eternal. We admit this when we say we sin since sin is breaking the law. Paul is saying his mind wants to follow God but his sin nature causes him to fail. If you admit you have sinned then you are doing what Paul was talking about. Allowing the law of sin in all of us to have us sin!! We can only thank Jesus for his sacrifice allowing us to be saved by grace through faith in Jesus as our savior!!!
we are not under the law that Jesus was Born under

we are obligated to
Galatians 6: 2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ

i believe when Adam in the garden, he doesn't need work in the McDonald or farming. There are plenty of fruit, just eat it for free. So all he does is sabbath or rest and eat. Than he commit sin, and need to work. His separation from the Lord make him work. Jesus come to unite believer to the Lord. To relate us to the Lord, back to the condition like before. Jesus promise Reconciliation will bring rest or sabbath every day like Adam was rest every day, now we rest in our soul every day. No need Saturday sabbath anymore

so why the problems and controversies ?
as i see it, some of my Christian brothers and sisters want to focus on the letter of the law rather than the spirit.

this is unhealthy

Heb 7v12 For the Priesthood being changed there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
This refers to the change 'from the letter TO the Spirit ! it does NOT allow us to change times and days ! THAT is what christians have done through and by the church of Rome and is leading many to be deceived ! changing GOD's Day is a serious SIN that will keep you out of HIS Kingdom !
the particular passage i was talking about

Luke 22: 35. He said to them, "When I sent you out without purse, and wallet, and shoes, did you lack anything?" They said, "Nothing." 36. Then he said to them, "But now, whoever has a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet. Whoever has none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.

there is something different after the "but now" showing that Jesus may alter how we keep his instructions

Galatians has 6 chapters.

Let's start in chapter one to what is to be understood.

Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

How are we delivered from this present evil world? By the indwelling Christ.

i was with you up till this part

"(that is, to bring Christ (GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law. In other words the Word; the Divine utterances. The Word manifested in the flesh; Christ) down from above:)*"

to say that Jesus is the commandments is incorrect, imo

"We simply Rest from our own works."

Yes, then just extend that approach to every day of the week

since we don't own ourselves, we can realize that we don't have "our works"

Would that mean that people were more charitable in the old days looking after the poor and needy...but now they would have to provide for themselves and also defend themselves as people had less love toward others ? we know from scripture that the latter days are hard to be endured.....but all this does not warrant the changing of GOD's Holy Sabbath ! in fact we ought to 'return to the Shepherd and Bishop of our souls, for as sheep we have gone astray 1Pet 2v25. (well, our ancestors did)

i think it just means that Jesus told the 12 one thing at one point and then said But now take that purse and wallet

so we can consider the possibility that the Israelites lived one way in the desert receiving manna from heaven
but we live a different way in the modern western countries

The Law of Christ in case you can't find where He first gave it.

Lev. 23: And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God (Word which became Flesh).

the particular passage i was talking about

Luke 22: 35. He said to them, "When I sent you out without purse, and wallet, and shoes, did you lack anything?" They said, "Nothing." 36. Then he said to them, "But now, whoever has a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet. Whoever has none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.

there is something different after the "but now" showing that Jesus may alter how we keep his instructions
Why is it you purposely refuse to accept that Jesus already told us through His Word He was going to do this?

I don't understand why it is so important for you to preach that Jesus taught against, or something different as a man, than He did as the Word.

i think it means the law of Christ is this: Bear one another's burdens

to say that the entire Torah is the law of Christ leads to some strange conclusions, imo

this isn't Bearing one another's burdens imo

No one of illegitimate birth shall enter the assembly of the*Lord; none of his*descendants, even to the tenth generation, shall enter the assembly of the*Lord.

the issue isn't whether Jesus told us beforehand he was going to do it

it's that there was one instruction at one time and a different instruction at another time

every presentation of God in the ot isn't Jesus specifically

13*“In my vision I saw one who looked like a son of man.

that sounds like Jesus

He was coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Eternal God. He was led right up to him.

Jesus isn't led up to himself
