The law is in force for all time, quite simply we are under New Covenant law.
The new covenant only allows us to have the penalty of our sins of breaking the law removed from us by accepting Jesus as our savior.

Sin is the transgression of the law.
Which law?

Don't understand the question.
What law is in force that sin breaks?

The law is in place.
Which law? The one Jesus said is in force until heaven and earth pass away?

God's law will not pass away. Old Testament law ended with John the Baptist.
Jesus said the law in the Torah would not pass away until heaven and earth cease to exist. Is that the law you are referring to?

ISBE Easter:

es'-ter (pascha, from Aramaic paccha' and Hebrew pecach, the Passover festival):

The English word comes from the Anglo-Saxon Eastre or Estera, a Teutonic goddess to whom sacrifice was offered in April, so the name was transferred to the paschal feast.

The word does not properly occur in Scripture, although the King James Version has it in Ac 12:4 where it stands for Passover, as it is rightly rendered in the Revised Version (British and American). There is no trace of Easter celebration in the New Testament, though some would see an intimation of it in 1Co 5:7. The Jewish Christians in the early church continued to celebrate the Passover, regarding Christ as the true paschal lamb, and this naturally passed over into a commemoration of the death and resurrection of our Lord, or an Easter feast. This was preceded by a fast, which was considered by one party as ending at the hour of the crucifixion, i.e. at 3 o'clock on Friday, by another as continuing until the hour of the resurrection before dawn on Easter morning. Differences arose as to the time of the Easter celebration, the Jewish Christians naturally fixing it at the time of the Passover feast which was regulated by the paschal moon. According to this reckoning it began on the evening of the 14th day of the moon of the month of Nican without regard to the day of the week, while the Gentile Christians identified it with the first day of the week, i.e. the Sunday of the resurrection, irrespective of the day of the month. This latter practice finally prevailed in the church, and those who followed the other reckoning were stigmatized as heretics. But differences arose as to the proper Sunday for the Easter celebration which led to long and bitter controversies. The Council of Nice, 325 AD, decreed that it should be on Sunday, but did not fix the particular Sunday. It was left to the bishop of Alexandria to determine, since that city was regarded as the authority in astronomical matters and he was to communicate the result of his determination to the other bishops.

Re: Hebrews chapter 4

This is one of the stumbling blocks. Jesus gave us new commandments.

Yes, the law is in place, but it is the law of the true God and not the Levitical law of the scribes and Pharisees.
The law is part of the Torah and Jesus validated it. There are 613 rules in the law.

Matthew 5:17 to 20 NIV

The Fulfillment of the Law
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

All is not accomplished since Jesus isn't on his throne in Jerusalem.

Re: Hebrews chapter 4

There is a slight misunderstanding. The Israelite's faithfully set aside a day of rest for religious worship, but they did not profit from it and Heb 4:6 tells us why, “they to whom it was first preached entered not into God’s rest because of unbelief.

Hundreds of years later David in Psalm 95:8-11 confirmed this when he pleaded with the people not to do as their forefathers had done when he wrote in the spirit:-

Harden not your heart as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.(v8-11)

So you see, even though they set a day aside it did not do them any good because of their unbelief.
But you are preaching against the very scriptures you post PS.

"they to whom it was first preached entered not into God’s rest because of unbelief.

The Word which became Flesh gave them the commandment and they rejected it and created their own. They polluted His Sabbath, they didn't "faithfully set it aside" as you preach. The whole point is that they fell "BECAUSE" they didn't follow His instructions, not because they did.

Not all the Jews created their own doctrines from the Commandments of men, there has always been a remnant who has not bowed down to the god of this world, disguised as ministers of righteousness, even to this day. As Jesus said, the Path is narrow and there are few on it, but the path is there just the same.

Let me ask you something. If I'm a Jew and I don't believe that the Messiah has come in the person of Jesus, when I partake of the Passover, is this the true Passover of the Lamb?

How can I "set aside" the Passover if I don't even believe in the God that it represents? But I do believe in a god, otherwise I wouldn't be partaking in the observance. So who is this god? The Word which became Flesh? No PS, I have created "Another god", who has not yet come, and have centered my religion around it.

Your implication, the premise of your preaching, is that the Jews tried to obey God but it didn't do them any good. They "set aside" God's Sabbath as instructed, but God killed them anyway.

But this is a deceit PS. They didn't "keep" God's Sabbaths, they polluted them. That is why they were rejected. Not all Jews, some honored God with respect and obedience and they were exalted in His Word to this day. As it is written;

1 Cor. 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

Duet. 32:16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.
17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.

i found the section of the Wikipedia article titled
"Dissent and difficulties" very interesting
There are areas that are just for Israel, men, women, etc. There are parts that don't apply to today after Jesus became through Lamb of God. You have to look through them.

I couldn't find that article. Either it was taken down or I don't have the correct name.

Question
Who should you believe? The words of Jesus or Wikipedia.

As far as I am aware God's eternal law is the Ten Commandments, which Jesus enlarged on.

The Mosaic Law that demanded sacrifice was fulfilled by Jesus.

The meaning of this is extra awesom IMO. SUch a beautiful copncept that YHWH would choose a place to be called with His name... YHWH shammah;

Hebrews 13:14, "For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come."

Ezekiyl 48:35, “All around: eighteen thousand cubits. And the name of the city from that day is: יהוה is there!” (In Hebrew: יהוה Shammah)

Revelation 21:3-4, "And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of YHWH is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and YHWH Himself will be with them, and be their Father. And YHWH will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor will there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

No, the chapter is about anything in honest dispute:

"21It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything by which your brother stumbles.

23 ...whatever is not from faith is sin."-
Romans 14:21,23

Besides, Paul mentions the matter of 'days' right in the beginning of the chapter, so we know it isn't just about foods:

"5One person regards one day above another, another regards every day alike."-Romans 14:5
Really? why don't we test that.
[TABLE="class: passage-cols, width: 651"]
[TR]
[TD="class: passage-col col-xs-12 first last, bgcolor: #FFFFFF"]14 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

PLEASE READ THESE ABOVE SCRIPTURES TOGETHER AND TELL ME IT'S NOT ABOUT FOOD. THERE IS A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT ISSUES BEING DISSCUSSED HERE, BUT THEY ARE ALL RELATED TO FOOD.
WE HAVE PHARISEES WHO BY THEIR OWN TRADITION FASTED ON CERTAIN DAYS AND WANTED TO LOOK DOWN ON PEOPLE WHO DID NOT REGARD THE SAME DAY, BUT NO WHERE IN THE TORAH/LAW WILL YOU FIND A COMMAND TO FAST SO MANY TIMES A WEEK OR ON ACERTAIN DAY EXECPT FOR THE DAY OF ATONEMENT. THAT'S WHY IT SAYS HE THAT EATS EATS UNTO YAHWEH AND HE THAT DOESN'T IT'S ALSO UNTO YAHWEH, LET EVERYMAN DETERMINE IN THEMESELVES WHEN THEY WILL FAST.

[SUP]7 [/SUP]For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
[SUP]17 [/SUP]For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

WE CAN ALSO SEE THE DIFFERENT ISSUES GOING ON, BUT AGAIN ALL WITH HAVING TO DO WITH FOOD. THERE WAS PEOPLE THAT WE SEE ALL THROUGHT THE NEW TESTAMENT THAT BELIEVED THAT HAVING ANY KIND OF PLEASURE WAS A SIN, AND I MEAN LIKE TOUCHING SOFT THINGS, EATING A GOOD MEAL, IF THEY WERE VEGETARIANS THEY JUDGED YOU FOR EATING MEAT THAT SCRIPTURE DECLARES FOOD.
THIS IS ADDING COMMANDS THAT ARE NOT THERE, JUST LIKE THE PHARISEES, SCRIBES AND TEACHERS OF THE LAW DID.
WE CAN ALSO SEE AN ISSUE WITH WHAT PAUL REFERS TO AS A WEAK BROTHER AND THIS IS IN REFERENCE TO MEAT SACRIFICED TO IDOLS,
WE CAN SEE THE SAME LANGUAGE USED.

1 CORINTHIANS 8:
[SUP]7 [/SUP]But not everyone possesses this knowledge. Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat sacrificial food they think of it as having been sacrificed to a god, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled. [SUP]8 [/SUP]But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do. [SUP]9 [/SUP]Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak. [SUP]10 [/SUP]For if someone with a weak conscience sees you, with all your knowledge, eating in an idol’s temple, won’t that person be emboldened to eat what is sacrificed to idols? [SUP]11 [/SUP]So this weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge. [SUP]12 [/SUP]When you sin against them in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. [SUP]13 [/SUP]Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall.

WHAT YOU QUOTED

23 ...whatever is not from faith is sin."-Romans 14:21,23

HERE'S THE REST OF THIS VERSE

[SUP]23 [/SUP]
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

IT IS ABOUT FOOD IN THIS OCCASION.
