I am willing to admit that I presumed that your post was from the web since it was so large so my mistake. It is apparent that you have been part of this discussion before and had compiled the information previously.

Does the name calling make you feel better?

All this has caused me to consider what might be the significance that, after having been made aware of the origin of his beginning to which his ending would return him (also noticed the beasts of the field and the birds in the sky were made 'ha'adamah' (Genesis 2:19), only then does Adam honor his wife with a name, Eve [Chavah, 'life'](Gen 3:26). He had only called her woman (Gen 2:23) up to that time.

Okay, I would hope that we as Christians have better things to promote than gay purple. I am new to this site and am pretty disappointed with the lack of a sincere desire to discuss God's Word with sobriety.

Welcome to this site. Perhaps try the other forums? This forum isn't really for the faint of heart, but the others are fine...

(Edit: Huh, looks like I'm the 666th poster...idk how I feel about that...)

Did it make YOU feel better when you were accusing her and calling her a name of plagiarizer?

I didn't call her a plagiarizer
You said you didn't care what she copy/pasted from the internet. This was a statement that she was copy/pasting things, and since she didn't provide a link, this means you had a hard time believing she was the one who wrote them and so you googled some of the phrases in her posts. This would be the only way for you to know the writings were elsewhere on the internet. But okay, let's play it real sly-like and slithery and say there wasn't aaanny little statement in that copy/pasting remark. You are an arrogant young man.

That is not at all what came up when I googled it. I apologize if anyone thought I would say something like that. Well, the “shmok” stuff anyways.

As far as a foolish or contemptible person, I pretty much stand by that. Here is the definition I found.

Schmuck, or shmuck, in American English is a pejorative term meaning one who is stupid or foolish, or an obnoxious, contemptible or detestable person
When someone says I should have posted a link to where I copied and pasted it from on the internet, after all the hours I have spent working on that material, after all I have said about posting links to things people copy and paste, and the implication that as a woman I wouldn’t know that kind of stuff, to say nothing of the fact that individual was obviously clueless about the exegesis, that word popped ito my head.

So, if I just should have said “arrogant and obnoxious, etc” I apologize. Yet somehow, he was allowed to put me down, but I wasn’t allowed to defend myself?

Oh, the 19th century Yiddish is not the same word. Now that I have spent almost a year studying advanced German, there is HUGE difference between “sch” and “sh.” They simply are not the same. Plus, I said “uck” in the word I used, the Yiddish is “ok” at the end. Then there is the fact that Yiddish is a quite different language than American/Canadian English.

But, if you want to trash me, too, with the wrong facts schmuck versus shmok, totally different words, with different meanings and spellings, feel free to knock yourself out!

Same to you, buddy! What you said was contemptible! You are arrogant. As for Yiddish words, that are not spelled the same or in the same language or meaning, I apologize if you thought that is what I meant! I prefer my definition, and perhaps you better learn a bit more about people before you say such stupid things like I copied it off the internet.

Or solved the whole issue, by googling what I said, and finding that oh, I wrote it. I am pretty sure I said I wrote it and copy and pasted it for myself.

Why are you trying to concoct some kind of fantasy about what happened? You are a troublemaker making up stories!

Let me ask you this! Have you made the same accusation recently saying someone was a liar or lying? I am talking about copying and pasting from the web? If yes did you provide evidence for this claim?

Actually, if you speak Deutsch (German) Schmuck = jewellery. ;). I don't understand the Americanism. And when will Americans learn how to spell colour?

And you are an arrogant little twit, coming in to a forum that you have zero history with, wanting to ridicule and make accusations against educated, intelligent people who have been discussing (with respect) these topics for years.

Perhaps you should zip your lip and lurk for a while. Try to actually follow a thread, and see what you can learn. It's obvious from your posts that you have lots of room for new (to you) knowledge.

Well... at least you chose an accurate "name"....

What is it about humor that irritates you? How would YOU interject some sobriety into this conversation?

And I suppose you are accusing Lydia of being "gay" ? From Acts 16...

[SUP]14 [/SUP]A woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple fabrics, a worshiper of God, was listening; [SUP][f][/SUP]and the Lord opened her heart to respond to the things spoken by Paul. [SUP]15 [/SUP]And when she and her household had been baptized, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us.

As soon as you Brits learn how to pronounce "aluminum".... ah loo mi num Simple!

Reminds me of the story I've posted before, about the Brit and American arguing about what to call an elevator... the Brit said "it's a lift"... the American said "it's an elevator. After all, we invented it! " The Brit said, "well after all, we invented the language! "

love ya, sis! .... or should I say "cheers!"

Folks there is no need for all this name calling ... I have went back and read this episode and Icetech made a mistake and has already apologized ... Absolutely no need to be continuing to call him names ... That is not the forgiveness in which my Bible teaches ...
