The election was on Saturday as usuals
I volunteered to give out how to vote slips for the
Australian Conservatives - Cory Bernadi's party
I knew we didn't have a chance in the ultra safe Liberal seat
the incumbent got 6,000+ votes to our 737 votes.
But it was a very chatty and social day.
Sundays - we have our communion meeting in the afternoon at
1.30 pm which goes for a couple of hours.
Then if people want to there is a second meeting afterwards.
Sundays are a mixed bag. Our meeting hall is a 35 minute drive
away in Gawler so if possible I work in doing a bit of supermarket
or discount store shopping at Big W or Target as well.
Being out here in the country we don't have the cheaper discount
supermarkets and stores.
