Yes... they want "change".... ask them for a definition of that.

A HUGE change would be for each one of them to pick out an unpopular kid at school, and actually sit down with them, and get to know them... treat them like one of the "cool" kids. Think that is on their agenda for "change" ?

The "change" they want is what the media and libs are coaching them to say..... get rid of all guns. THAT will fix all the problems. Never mind that pesky old constitution and bill of rights. Those were just written by a bunch of old white guys, anyway. And those old white guys were SLAVE OWNERS! And they were probably RICH! and... and... LET'S STOP THE GUN VIOLENCE!

But let's glorify it in the movies we watch, and the music we listen to, and the video games we play....

Well I for one, do not approve of high school students getting involved with political issues. If I heard of this from one of my kids or grandkids, I would set them straight in quick order. We need to be careful of political change, as that is how the devil runs things. He does his evil little by little, and he starts with our children.

If you were to ask that mass of kids protesting about their thoughts on gay marriage, you'd probably get about 80-85 percent for it. Young people idolize celebrities and their far leftist views. If you want you children wise, sit them down and talk to them about what God expects from them. Make them read Proverbs, which is a programmed course in Biblical wisdom.

Prov. 22:6: "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
Prov. 22:15: "Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him."

Absolutely, but it is not enough, and truly, they should NOT have to do this. It is up to the adult in our society to see to it that our citizens are protected.
We are working on that, young lady. Your safety is very important to we seniors. I would lay down my life for any one of you. Please leave the politics to those that are willing to take the time to do it right.

Start executing the murderers and that will make an impression on those who would engage in such activities. Make it an unpleasant experience to murder people and the activity will lose its attraction.

there is examples we could follow, but being a self centered society we love our right to bare arms more then our children safety. not to mention the money behind it all. I personalty have no need for a gun but it ain't all about me but for real we do not need assault weapons on our street or in the hands of the public. aromatic weapons need to good. There is no cure all cure all but if ONE child's life is saved it is worth it.

Well you for one are not the one being slaughtered while sitting in school. Since us adults can not get it done maybe they can. GO School Students go.

you mean " young people getting influenced by the liberal media to push a gun control agenda ". that is what the walkout is about.
I thought they were influenced by seeing people murdered in school

I agree but they feel the adults won't do anything so they feel they have to do something. The old cliche "if you want something done, do it yourself". Bad analogy but you know what I mean.

Gay marriage and school shootings are apples and oranges. Don't know how that matters in this situation. Are many of them taught leftist views, probably but protesting safety in schools, they aren't wrong there. They are the ones who went through such traumatic experiences, many kids are also afraid to go to school because of this.
