Well we can not hold unsaved people to the same standard as those of us who by Gods grace have had their eyes open, I am not a fan of Oprah. But I can not say if or if not she is a witch. I know only God knows the heart and only He can truly change the heart. Hope God opens her eyes to the truth and she walks through the door of salvation. Remember it is only by Gods grace that we are following after Him and working out our salvation.

Sorry,I disagree on this one.Oprah is so confused about religion even she doesn't know what she believes.Anyone that says there is any other way to get to God other than Christ is teaching dangerous false doctrine.

Does it matter? It seems Christians love demonizing celebrities to the fullest extent. Accusing them of all sorts of things.
I don't care if Oprah, or Beyonce, or any of them are witches or not, it's not relevant to me. Or to you. Waste of time speculating such nonsense.

​ I'd probably agree with you except Oprah presents herself as a spiritual person with special knowledge and for some reason people listen to her a lot. She has special shows where all sorts of religious leaders and thinkers say all kinds of beliefs. So more than other celebs I think she needs to be taken a bit more seriously. As to her being a witch,I doubt it. She's just extremely messed up and lost.

Well I DID say that it is irrelevant whether or not she's a WITCH. I said nothing about her general spiritual beliefs being irrelevant. So this attempt to correct me fails because the thing you're claiming I said I never said.
And I know full well the kinds of shows she has, the kinds of guests and the basic sort of beliefs she has.
As far as taking her more seriously what exactly would that entail? In what way or manner will "taking her more seriously" change your life or behaviors? I don't take her more seriously because I don't know her, she doesn't affect me and there is nothing I can do to affect her, her life or her beliefs.
So, again, such threads are fruitless because it's nothing but gossip and speculation.

I don't know where you get your information from, but you do need to study scripture because it appears you are at odds with it

the devil will be thrown in the lake of fire that God has prepared for him and angels

the devil sends NO ONE to hell

and if Christians ascribe power to her, they do not have the right picture of God

Oprah is very self assured in what she says she believes...but she is not anyone's judge nor does she have the ability to send people to hell...which I don't think you disagree with

but she is very influential as you say

Oprah would probably NOT say that all religions are the same ;) People who ascribe to religious tolerance usually single Christianity out as being intolerable. Jesus and all that, you know, there being only One way to God. Intolerable.

Me correct you? Never ever,ever,ever would I try to correct you.

As far as taking her seriously I don't really,since I know what she believes.But I do correct people that think she has any spiritual knowledge. I simply don't support her shows and I don't think Christians should. IMO

No I believe our own choices send us to hell. I would say Oprah has the gospel for itching ears and that is why people are so easily confused. We want an easy gospel,one that we can accept and everyone can coexist with.

any one person who espouses that there are 'many' ways to come to The Father,
OTHER than Jesus Christ, is of the devil' and worships him in their daily lives...

when she supposedly refers to the 'god of this world, she is most definitely
referring to the god of this world, whom we know as 'satan'...

also, she has never proclaimed that 'Jesus Christ is her Lord and Saviour'...
and what better genre than world-wide TWee, laying at your feet???

I was shopping for dinner after work, and there she was on the cover of PEOPLE magazine :eek: A full page close-up of her face, with the headline, Oprah Answers Everything! LOLs

Then I hear in the car radio on the way home how fakebook and twitter have what is being called "shadow banning" of people who post information about Islam. Their posts are longer allowed to be shared :eek: Why? Because telling the truth about Islam and Mohammed is blasphemy according to those who wish to squash our way of life, and Americans' first amendment rights are being curtailed to pander to/comply with Sharia supporters.
