If the Spirit is consistent with Jesus and God is consistent with the law, than when you are lead by the Spirit you will be lead to obey the law.
You can keep the law like the pharisees to be righteous or you can keep it because the Spirit is controlling you.
When you obey the law there is no condemnation because there is no law against you. You are dead to the law.

So When we are freed from the law and obey the Spirit, can you see how that means we are free from the penalty of the law, because of grace and because we stop breaking it. And by the Spirit in us we obey out of love and because we are renewed (transformed) by the Spirit.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

Please Notice above that the Gospel was available to Israel since Moses but they did not enter into due to unbelief (obstinate stiff necked rebellion). What is also being said in those text is that the works for the the HIS rest (the Gospel) were finished from the foundation of the World. Which means that any one from the time of dam on had the capability through GOD through HIS Christ to enter into HIS rest; the Gospel.

And in this again (the Decalogue), If they shall enter into my rest (receive the Gospel). O.K. It's a Bible study. I would present the Gospel like this:

Rather than have the Law in their heart they “followed it” letter letter for letter, they tied the paper on which the Law was written to their head and arm.

The proper implication of this Law would be to Spiritually binding them to your hand by doing the Laws in ones life. Spiritually binding them as a frontlet between your eyes would be keeping them in your mind.…

Mat 12:12, "And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."

Mark 3:4, “And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do right on the Sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.”

John 7:22-24, “Because of this Mosheh has given you the circumcision – though it is not from Mosheh, but from the fathers – and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath. If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the Torah of Mosheh should not be broken, are you wroth with Me because I made a man entirely well on the Sabbath? Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

Why were they not sinning by breaking the Sabbath by “doing work” on the Sabbath? Because they are doing the will of YHWH, the true intent of the Sabbath day:

Isaiah 58:11-14, “YHWH will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat; (strengthen), your bones. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. And those of you will rebuild the old waste places; you will raise up the foundations of many generations; and you will be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In; If you turn away your foot from breaking the Sabbath: from doing your pleasure; your own business, your own pleasure, on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of YHWH honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in idle conversation: Then you will find your joy in YHWH; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Yaaqob your father, for the mouth of YHWH has spoken it.”

The true intent of the Sabbath day is not about only worshiping on the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day, it is about doing His will and not doing our own will.

and nobody is letting Jesus keep the Sabbath for them or "resting" in Jesus now, it sounds real nice but the rest Yahshua/Jesus offers is till future, as in when He returns:

Mat 11:27-30, "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father. And no one fully knows the Son except the Father, neither does anyone fully know the Father, except the Son and those whom YHWH wills the Son to reveal. Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light"

2 Thessalonians 1:5-10, “Clear evidence of the righteous judgment of יהוה, in order for you to be counted worthy of the reign of יהוה, for which you also suffer, since יהוה shall rightly repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to give you who are afflicted rest with us when the Master יהושע is revealed from heaven with His mighty messengers, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know יהוה, and on those who do not obey the Good News of our Master יהושע Messiah, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Master and from the esteem of His strength, when He comes to be esteemed in His set-apart ones and to be admired among all those who believe in that Day, because our witness to you was believed.”


Revelation 14:13, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Messiah from now on! Yes, says the Spirit: because they will rest from their labors, and their works do follow them!"

So how to observe sabbath according to New Testament, any body know, and able to give the verses?

They would have practised water baptism by total immersion in the rivers as did John the Baptist.

They would have taken communion as the Lord commanded.

They met in one-another's homes and they were extorted not to forsake the assembling of themselves together. (Heb 10:25)

They sang hymns, and they studied the Old Testament, presumably mainly the prophets.

The ladies would have worn hats.
