28*And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

29*And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

30*And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31*The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the*Lord*come.

32*And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the*Lord*shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the*Lord*hath said, and in the remnant whom the*Lord*shall call.

asking for deliverance
deliverance, as the*Lord*hath said
Again, you completely ignore the post. You use of Joel to justify your religious traditions is fascinating.

Joel 2:12 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

Hasn't Your god has abolished the solemn assemblies, the atonement Fast.

16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

What is the Heritage of Zion?

18 Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

Only if you reject EVERY WORD Jesus ever spoke about the Pharisees and their religious traditions would you believe that they were trying to teach the New Converts to obey God. Only if you side with the Pharisees and reject Jesus and His teaching, could you possibly believe the Pharisees were truly keeping and teaching to "Keep the Law of Moses".

Only by ignoring the fact that Peter and James turned the New Converts away from the Pharisees who opposed them and their teaching, and directed them into 4 of God's Laws given to us by Moses, and directing them to learn from Moses in the synagogues on the Sabbath. Which is the exact same thing Jesus instructed His Apostles to do in Matt. 23.

Matt. 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,

This would have included Peter and James, Yes?
2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:

Jesus is acknowledging that the Scribes and Pharisees were administers of God's Instructions. Yes?

3
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

So Jesus is telling His Apostles, and everyone else that heard Him, to listen to Moses and do what he says. Can you deny this Biblical Truth?

Acts 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols,(Law of Moses) and from fornication,(Law of Moses) and from things strangled,(Law of Moses) and from blood.(Law of Moses)

21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Your preaching that Peter or James turned the New Converts away from the Commandments of God in acts 15 is Biblically incorrect. And I assume you only do so in an attempt to defend your religious traditions of rejecting many of God's instructions. Just note that it was the Pharisees who rejected God's word and created their own religion, not Jesus or His Apostles.
i didn't say that about the Pharisees

the issue in acts 21 is believing Jews

And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

21*And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.

22*What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.

23*Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;

24*Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.

25*As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.

compare to
And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

21*To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

22*To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

This issue of "Believing Jew" opposing the teaching of the Apostles started in Acts 15. If one is teaching lies about Acts 15, then they will also teach lies and Acts 21.

Paul was speaking against the Jews religious leaders which Jesus said were "Teaching for Doctrines, the Commandments of Men". These "believing Jews" were "informed" that Paul was speaking "Against Moses".

22*What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.

23*Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;

24*Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.
Their custom included many man made traditions, one of which is mentioned here, "shaving their heads". There is no "Law of Moses" which says I must shave my head to be part of God's Family. It was one of many "customs" and traditions of men that Jesus rejected the Jews for.

25*As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, (Law of Moses) and from blood,(Law of Moses) and from strangled,(Law of Moses) and from fornication.(Law of Moses)

The Apostles kept the Gentiles away from these man made doctrines and customs.

26 Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.

They were still preforming Levitical Priesthood "Works of the Law" for purification and cleansing of sins as was their custom.

They had rejected Jer. 31 and the promise of the New Covenant that the Law and Prophet's foretold.

27 And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,28 Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.

These were the people and the teaching that the Apostles kept the New Converts from. Obedient Gentiles were always accepted by the God of the Bible, just not by the traditions of the Jews.

30 And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut.

This would include the "Believing Jews" who the Apostles kept the New Converts from. They were teaching against their "customs" as well.

Paul defends himself to the High Priest.

Acts 24:13 Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Paul is simply teaching what is written in the Law and Prophets which exposes the Jews traditions, both the believing and non believing Jews, as from man and not from God.

there's no indication the Jews in acts 21 were opposing the apostles teaching

or that they were Pharisees

unless one thinks all believing Jews thought the same thing

there was great diversity in the Jewish world back then

9*Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

10*Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

11*Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God

God tells them HOW to be delivered Dan, if we "Call on Him" or "entitle" Him to instruct us rather than the Pope or some religious franchise owner.

11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?12 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

Of course you could always choose to create your own god and call on him for deliverance, or some other god that some religion has created. He may not ask you to do anything.

But Joel is speaking to a specific people here. "And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

I don't think this is speaking to just any one who commands Jesus to deliver them. This God is telling them to do something first, THEN He will deliver them.

But hey, it's your choice to believe or not believe.

I think Jesus said the same exact thing in John.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Surely you believe we should "turn to God".

I'm sure there were Saduccees and Zealots who were zealous for the law as well

Some of them probably believed

Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2*For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the*Lord*hath said, and in the remnant whom the*Lord*shall call.

I love theLord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

2*Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

3*The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

4*Then called I upon the name of the*Lord; O*Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

5*Gracious is theLord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

6*The*Lordpreserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

7*Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the*Lord*hath dealt bountifully with thee.

8*For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

9*I will walk before the*Lord*in the land of the living.

10*I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

11*I said in my haste, All men are liars.

12*What shall I render unto theLord*for all his benefits toward me?

13*I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the*Lord.

14*I will pay my vows unto theLord*now in the presence of all his people.

15*Precious in the sight of the*Lordis the death of his saints.

16*O*Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

Jonah called out to God
and he wasn't even obedient

Jonah prayed unto theLord*his God out of the fish's belly,

2*And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto theLord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.

This issue of "Believing Jew" opposing the teaching of the Apostles started in Acts 15. If one is teaching lies about Acts 15, then they will also teach lies and Acts 21.

Paul was speaking against the Jews religious leaders which Jesus said were "Teaching for Doctrines, the Commandments of Men". These "believing Jews" were "informed" that Paul was speaking "Against Moses".

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:
3 He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.
4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.
5 All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

So you in your infinite wisdom, in the sprit you claim is from God, have determined by this one sentence, that God's Law says both men and women, all of them, before they can be cleansed, they cannot shave their head for an unspecified period. That we must all vow the vow of a Nazarite before being cleansed.

And you got this knowledge from studying God's Word.

18 And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings.

21 This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed, and of his offering unto the LORD for his separation, beside that that his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of his separation.

It seems you and the Pharisees have both twisted what the "vow" means.

For me personally, I must be a Nazarite because God has shaved my head.

10 And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:11 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day.
12 And he shall consecrate unto the LORD the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.
13 And this is the law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

Seriously though.

What is the difference between this Law, and this one?

Num. 8:5 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
7 And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.
8 Then let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering.
9 And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:
10 And thou shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:
11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.
12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.
13 And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the LORD.

I thought Jesus was the High Priest now. How can I accomplish the Nazarite Vow unless the High Priest kills an animal on my behalf?

Why would Paul subject the New Converts to traditions of men whose traditions rejected Christ and His Sacrifice?

Has the Priesthood been changed or not? And who first declared the Change? Was it not Jesus through Jeremiah?

You might try and think some of these things through before you vomit on yourself again gb9.

Jonah called out to God
and he wasn't even obedient

Jonah prayed unto theLord*his God out of the fish's belly,

2*And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto theLord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.

1 Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD,(His Word) and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.

8 Then said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; What is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou?
9 And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.
10 Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.

12 And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.

15 So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.
16 Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD, and made vows.

Since you are only interested in justifying your own religious traditions you miss some remarkable and Spiritual lessons. These men were converted to the living God because of what Jonah did. They were saved.

4 Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.

Jonah is humbled and returns to God. He learns a valuable lesson.

8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

Jesus gave Jonah the same instructions He gave before, because Jesus doesn't change.

1 And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying,
2 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.

Ex. 34:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.

So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

And these men were saved as well. God's Will was done, Jonah learned a great lesson, and our examples are continued.

6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

The wisdom of God is not surpassed by religious man, though they seek to make that case every day.

But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of theLord.

10*And the*Lordspake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.

Yes there is wisdom there
Salvation is of the Lord.

The*Lord*is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.

6*And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the*Lord*is his treasure.

Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

18*She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

That describes Moses when he forsook the I AM and turned to a Canaanite god called Yahweh. LINK

There is nothing Canaanite about Yahweh.

In Exo 3:14 God revealed to Moses that His name [authority] is יְהוָ֞ה I AM [the Self Existent One]

Hebrew has no 'W' sound! About 40 years ago some colleges and seminaries began teaching the Hebrew vahv ' ו ' has the Arabic 'W' sound; but the only Jews who pronounce the vahv as a w are Jews from Arabic speaking countries other than Yemen. Even Yemenite Jews pronounce the Vahv as a 'V'. Jewish people from Israel, the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific Islands all pronounce the vahv as a 'V'; and do not attempt to pronounce יְהוָ֞ה at all.

Sorry a long way behind pages wise trying to catch up....

Your saying that it is the same does NOT make it the same. Dan_473 was clearly saying that Jesus was subject to the Law and expected to obey it perfectly; and NEVER implied Jesus sinned!
True but if God says so and all I have presented is Gods' Word we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it.

I referred to the scriptures in ROM 3 and GAL 4 which is stating to be "UNDER THE LAW" is referring to those breaking it as already posted. To believe otherwise in the context of the scriptures is the same as saying Jesus was a sinner which he is not.

Sin is the breaking of ANY of God's commandments (James 2:8-12; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4).

Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

.......................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

You twisted Dan_473's words. When it was explicitly pointed out that you did so; you denied it. nothing you have said here changes that!
