Sure....The Great White Throne judgment where the lost are judged according to their works by the law "books opened" and note...the law deems guilt. This is not the same judgment of the saved at the Bema seat where we are rewarded for our works!
Do you have a verse where it says we won't be at the Great White Throne judgment?

Should we tell them yet that FranC is your wife, I'm your brother-in-law, and PHart is your nephew?

here are some words heard from you- the Cross is not enough- imputed righteousness is a neat little trick.

now, you can call that a different view, I call them blasphemy . that is belittling the very things, the only things that save.

greetings gb9,

I do not know what you mean by "imputed righteousness is a neat little trick" and "the Cross is not enough"?
Can you explain?

You are calling them blasphemy, while not describing what you are referring to.

And this is an attempted answer to Paul speaking about the Lord

To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ--their Lord and ours:
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 1:2-3

I do wonder if the emotions and memory you possess has not taken you over like
a delusion.

I wonder if you think by committing blasphemy one is doomed forever. Now I have heard
that unbelief in Christ dooms you, unless you have previously believed in Christ, which means
it will not be counted, and in these ideas blaspheming the Holy Spirit does not exist.

So whatever you are trying to communicate I hear anger, frustration, and tripping up over
ideas which are too big for you to grasp. Jesus truly is a stumbling block to you, the idea
He actually means you to walk as He walked, to know God as He knew God, and to be free
and loving, gracious and kind from the heart.

It reminds me of another member trying to say the word heart is not our core or the very
essence of who we are.

I hope you understand I am not trying to gain your approval or persaude you, because you
will not listen to my Lord, Jesus Christ and the apostles, so I am going to get nowhere.

But this stands as a testimony to your lostness, and how the obvious is written right there
in front of you, be pure, be holy, put on the very life God has given you in Christ and learn
to walk with Him through repentance, confession and faith. The door is always open, though
you resist so hard and want the sins you will not let go, to imprison you and hold you fast.

How do we know who are His?

John writes this

This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.
1 John 3:10

Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God
and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him.
1 John 3:21-22

We have confidence before God, why?
Because we obey his commands.
We do what pleases him.

Now those who do what is wrong are what?
Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God

This is brutal, so brutal I even wince at it. But in essence John is
right. Our hearts are purified, washed clean, healed, made whole,
and love planted there and set free so that we look to see good
things happening around us.

So when evil men, who continually sin and feel that is their place,
come with condemnation and heresy, that is what they are, evil men.

And they openly declare their own condemnation and why should God not
agree with them, and sentence them to where evil men with unrepentant
hearts will go, the lake of fire. It is this simple, it is inescapable, and each
day they sink further into their delusion and defeat, not seeing Christ offers
healing and rescue which they declare is heresy. Poor doomed souls, with no
hope of rescue, what can be done?

ever want to hold a mirror and reflect back the condemnation some post and wonder when they realize they speak of their own selves and can't see past their own plank, yet claims to want to take out a speck in others?

Hi Ariel,

Trouble is Ariel, when there is no plank, and one just shares the word of God, this is
no speck.

Unless you think a speck of being sent to the lake of fire, and ignoring holiness and purity
is some minor issue, you are just as deluded as the rest.

What Jesus was talking about planks, was sin and impurity in ones life. It does not work
if one is purified and made whole, to be told by sinners, oh no, you are still a sinner, because
no one can be purified and made whole. That is just belief not fact. And then the attempt is
made to annoy, insult, etc to try and get a raise. And when that does not work, they have
nothing but their own sin and failure to wallow in.

John declares simply, we know we love God because we love His people, Amen.

We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:6-8

There was a time when the above was scripture, that I had to understand as revelation.
Now I see the truth and how the words reflect that truth.

God is love. So much being spoken about shows excuses for sin and a lack of love because
of a lack of communion with Christ. How this reality is condemning, just shows how far
people are from the Holy Spirit and God, not that they know God and this is not Gods word.

How do I know I am doing the right things? Because the come from Jesus and love.

So condemnation anyone feels is not mine, but seeing Jesus and His word and how much
more we need the Holy Spirit to fill us and reveal the how and why in our hearts.
Praise the Lord He does anoint, lift up and strengthen those who call on Him with a
pure heart.

Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels.
And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.
2 Timothy 2:22-24

Amen.....cannot stand any dogma that devalues the work, promises, and power of Christ while enthroning self and boasting of their works, how holy they are and their sinless perfectionists garbage....Jesus speaks of them using the statement... MANY WILL COME BEFORE ME IN THAT DAY SAYING, "Lord, Lord, did we not...."
An impure man will say I know my impurity, how dare these shinning lights claim
they have anything better than me, its garbage, they are just stealing from Christ
and devaluing what He is offering which is blasphemy.

What the impure man does not see is the shinning light comes from Jesus, their
purity is Christ at work in them, their works are His works working through their
lives, and the glory they bring, is glory to the King of Kings.

But the lostness of sinners will always distort and lie about what is and how
it works so that they as sinners are innocents, victims of circumstance, and
they will be rescued because they are not guilty, Christ has taken that away.
So close to beginning the walk they have come, but never able to see real
power and victory flowing, because their hearts are always locked away and
kept safe from any influence.

I hear often at my church young people coming to Christ, with stories about stuff they have done in the past making them feel unworthy of God's forgiveness. so, lets see, telling someone who already feels unworthy to be forgiven that grace is not free, they have to qualify, how do you think that is going to make them feel?

and you see, us free garcers care about other people. we want them to come to Christ, by however they get there.

I'm sure in your church, ya'll just tell each other how holy and righteous you are, how others should be like you ( that is what you say here ), but i'll take a church that understands grace and forgiveness is a gift to be received, not a favor to earn.

News for y'all...

God is calling His church to work on their approach to their fellow brothers and sisters across the doctrine... none of you have it all figured out anyways. What happened to sharing His good news anyways? His perfect love and grace?
He says to get back to basics and love one another. Encourage in His faithfulness and stop discouraging one another with pettiness. These are not things the Lord Jesus taught.

Amen

Nawww...I will stick with Jesus by faith saves eternally based upon grace which leads to hope and love is a process of growth and maturity!
So you do not think that 'charity' is greater than 'faith'?

Your a sinner who needs saved,

Jesus is God and does nto need saved.

Your trusting men, Not God.
Yes, I am a sinner.

Yes, God was sinless.

So what righteousness did God have to fulfill by getting baptized?

If God had not been baptized, apparently he would not have fulfilled all righteousness. What then?

Here is an example of the pettiness God is talking about.
I am so sorry. I have nothing against either of you....but I learned not to disobey.

dcon perhaps has a harder time with loving others and God is growing the fruit in Him
where as benhur has been around a bit longer and His upbringing was much different.
God knows you both and grows fruit in you as necessary according to your purpose. it is petty to stick your nose in Gods business as He works on us individually. you are brothers in Christ Jesus. Lift one another, support one another, bear one anothers burdens. That pleases God.

Again....Im not bustin nobodys chops...just obeying....and I love you both.

Acts 2:40 - And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Whoa Peter! You can't say stuff like that! You are advocating works salvation! Peter don't you know we there is nothing we can do to save ourselves!

Phillipians 2:12 - Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Oh no Paul! They got to you too! No No No! You can't work at being saved Paul! Don't become a legalist man!

1 Timothy 6:12 - Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses

Paul stop! Please! Stop telling people they have to actually DO something to be saved! Don't you know that Christ finished the work and that means there is nothing left for you to DO!?!?!

My goodness! These Apostles, I tell you! Who do they think they are telling folks they actually have to do something to be saved?!?!?

;)

Save yourself from the world is different that to work and earn salvation...which can't be done....

Lay hold to eternal life is to cling to Jesus....

We don't Work to get saved but because we have God's love in us and know we already are saved and redeemed by His blood.
Work out your salvation reveals that you have already been given the gift.
