ever want to hold a mirror and reflect back the condemnation some post and wonder when they realize they speak of their own selves and can't see past their own plank, yet claims to want to take out a speck in others?
Hi Ariel,
Trouble is Ariel, when there is no plank, and one just shares the word of God, this is
no speck.
Unless you think a speck of being sent to the lake of fire, and ignoring holiness and purity
is some minor issue, you are just as deluded as the rest.
What Jesus was talking about planks, was sin and impurity in ones life. It does not work
if one is purified and made whole, to be told by sinners, oh no, you are still a sinner, because
no one can be purified and made whole. That is just belief not fact. And then the attempt is
made to annoy, insult, etc to try and get a raise. And when that does not work, they have
nothing but their own sin and failure to wallow in.
John declares simply, we know we love God because we love His people, Amen.
We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:6-8
There was a time when the above was scripture, that I had to understand as revelation.
Now I see the truth and how the words reflect that truth.
God is love. So much being spoken about shows excuses for sin and a lack of love because
of a lack of communion with Christ. How this reality is condemning, just shows how far
people are from the Holy Spirit and God, not that they know God and this is not Gods word.
How do I know I am doing the right things? Because the come from Jesus and love.
So condemnation anyone feels is not mine, but seeing Jesus and His word and how much
more we need the Holy Spirit to fill us and reveal the how and why in our hearts.
Praise the Lord He does anoint, lift up and strengthen those who call on Him with a
pure heart.
Flee the evil desires of youth, and
pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those
who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels.
And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.
