Nonsense. If you are living in sin knowingly you are not HIS; you are not saved, you are condemned. Not the redeemed.
Nonsense. If you are living in sin knowingly you are not HIS; you are not saved, you are condemned. Not the redeemed.
You posted things out of context with your own understanding rather than the Spirit's.i posted quotes from the bible, you say they are not correct
If we are cleansed we are not doing them.My sins have been cleansed in the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Nonsense. If you are living in sin knowingly you are not HIS; you are not saved, you are condemned.
If we are cleansed we are not doing them.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
The life which we now live in the flesh, which we live by the faith of the Son of GOD.
Please reread the post that you responded to.RED: Correct.
Now ask yourself what it is that millions of Christians are NOT doing. Then refer back to my previous post that explains why Christians do not keep the shadow that has passed, but instead keep the reality that has come.
........ We expect to be made righteous and We shall not fulfill the lust of the Flesh. For we cannot do the things that we would because of the Spirit through the Faith in which we now live (love) by. We have put on Christ and now live by that which we have put on and cannot do the things that we would have. We are no longer under the Schoolmaster because we have become that that which it taught. That which it taught is now who we are through Christ. For GOD has said this the Covenant I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people. For we are all one in Christ; the Temple of the LIVING GOD and it is HE that works in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. If we are doing the things that are contrary to GOD's working in us; HIS Spirit; the Faith; the indwelling Christ; The Law; HIS Word in our hearts, minds and mouths, that we do it we shall not inherit the Kingdom of GOD. We are condemned!

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)
Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)
There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.
Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?
In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).
Amen! References for 9 of the 10 commandments from the Old Testament are reiterated under the New Covenant, yet the command to keep the Sabbath day is not binding on Christians under the New Covenant.I can honestly say the defunct Old Testament law that requires me to keep Saturday above other days, is most certainly NOT written on my heart. The other commandments are, but not that one.
And that is the testimony of someone who lives in close harmony with the LORD.

To be UNDER THE LAW means to be GUILTY of SIN. God’s LAW gives us a KNOWLEDGE of what SIN is. SIN is breaking ANY of God's commandments (James 2:8-12)
Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

Only in the sense that all mankind are under the authority of God's LAW not in reference to the scriptures you quoted. God's LAW is the KNOWLEDGE of SIN (Romans 3:20) we do not KNOW what SIN is without it. UNDER THE LAW as in Romans 3:19-23 is in reference to breaking it. as already shown through the scriptures
Really? Colossians 2:16 - Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. How does that equate to the Sabbath day is binding on the Church under the New Covenant? Where is the Church commanded to keep the Sabbath day holy under the New Covenant?mailmandan,
re: "4. Keep the Sabbath day holy. - Not binding on the Church - Colossians 2:16-17"
I don't see how you get that from Colossians 2:16-17. Where does it say that the Sabbath is not binding on the Church?
You have it wrong. We WERE under law in the days of Moses, but not now. Today, those in Christ are under Grace.
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. (Rom 6:14)
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Sabbath keeping with all it's rules and regulations, was part of a covenant with Israel (Exodus 16:23, 29; 31:12-18; 35:1-3; Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3, 32; Numbers 15:32-36; 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13; Amos 8:5; Nehemiah 10:31) that is not binding on Christians under the New Covenant.

SDA's play the same game in salvation as every other false movement of Christendom. They profess to teach that salvation is by grace through faith, but then redefine this in a way that is contrary to the Truth.Even though they deny this, they teach that salvation is by "grace plus law, faith plus works." Their doctrine of salvation is a subtle mixture of law and grace that is a perversion of the Gospel. (Galatians 1:6-9)![]()
I can honestly say the defunct Old Testament law that requires me to keep Saturday above other days, is most certainly NOT written on my heart. The other commandments are, but not that one.
And that is the testimony of someone who lives in close harmony with the LORD.
We shouldn't pull scripture out of context. Galatians has 6 chapters. We will take a look at the immediate context of chapter 5 and the verse you quoted. But first let's take a look at the over all
Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
To reveal his Son in us, that we might preach him among the heathen; that they glorify God in us.
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed into Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
We are crucified with Christ: nevertheless we live; yet not us, but Christ liveth in us: and the life which we now live in the flesh we live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved us, and gave himself for us.
This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ.
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ.
But before faith came, (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.(The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) But after that faith (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ (even we have believed into Jesus Christ). There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ)
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ). For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) which worketh by love.
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ)
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual (of the Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) , restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ)
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit (The Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
But God forbid that we should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto us, and we unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. (of the Faith which we now live through Christ that is of Christ) For We are crucified with Christ: nevertheless we live; yet not us, but Christ liveth in us: and the life which we now live in the flesh we live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved us, and gave himself for us.
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
For the LORD our GOD will circumcise our hearts and the hearts of our seed. For righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ (GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law. In other words the Word; the Divine utterances. The Word manifested in the flesh; Christ) down from aboveOr, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ (GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law. In other words the Word; the Divine utterances. The Word manifested in the flesh; Christ) again from the dead.) But what saith it? The Word (GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law; the Divine utterances; Christ, the Word manifested in the flesh manifested in our flesh) is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart and in thy hand: (that thou mayest do it) that is, the word of faith, which we preach. And that my friend is the GOSPEL. Christ in us the hope of Glory; GOD!
(Gal 1:4,16,24;2:20,16 3:2-3,11,23-28; 4:4-6,19;5:5-6, 14, 16-21,24-25, 6:1-2, 7-8,14-15; 2Co 3:3-5; Rom.10:6-8; Deut 30:6,10-14)
Even when Sabbatarians set out to worship on the Sabbath, are they truly "keeping the Sabbath?" To "keep the Sabbath" as it was required in the Old Testament under the Old Covenant would involve compliance with specific regulations (Exodus 16:23; 35:3; Leviticus 23:32; Jeremiah 17:21) that were strictly enforced.
If Sabbath day observances are still required, so would the burnt offerings which went along with them (Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3; Numbers 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13). So no kindling a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath (Exodus 35:3). Every man must remain in his place (no traveling) on the sabbath (Exodus 16:29). No trading (Amos 8:5). No marketing (Nehemiah 10:31; 13:15,19).
If the Sabbath day laws were still in effect today, then according to Exodus 31:12-18; 35:1-3; and Numbers 15:32-36, anyone who profaned the Sabbath was put to death and any person who does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from his people. Who is going to enforce that? The Jewish synagogue? The Seventh day Adventist church? The Government? Since we do not live under a theocratic state as ancient Israel did under the Old Covenant, no Sabbatarian can live consistently under these Mosaic regulations.
You not answere my question dear, just short unswere, you say you not kill sabbath violator because you call to love. God command to kill it, is God call to hate? Yes or no, no more then one sentence.
OT regulate how to observe sabbath, example kill violator what kind of regulation is your sabbath, who regulate? do not try to avoid to unswere with hundred sentences to make like you unswere but not. Straight forward unswere
