According to the bible there is only one kind of scripture - inspired by God. If it's not inspired by God then it's not scripture.

Moses recorded Gods word but the only part that God actually wrote was on the tables of stone on the mountain. That of course was the second set because the set Moses wrote he smashed.

Men wrote what God breathed in Hebrews, Greek and Aramaic not English, German, Latin or Spanish.

God has preserved His word through the translation process so 2 Tim 3:16-17 remains true and we can receive it in our language.

I certainly agree that God did not breathe the scriptures in the English text and so with the Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, Latin, French and all the languages of this world. He inspires them. Also agree that God moved the holy men of God to write His word. Likewise, God did not inspire the writer of the Bible. What God inspire is His written words.

When God preserved His words through translation, he preserved His words thus inspiration is in it.There's nothing about the "double inspiration" as others assumed it to be.

God inspired the original authors of His word to write it down. Those who copied it down through the centuries were not inspired as they copied it. That's why I think texts such as Mark 16:9-20 & John 7:53-8:11 are blended in scribal notes that the scribes had written in the margins as notes and eventually got blended into the text.

Did you know that Satan is THE ACCUSER of the brethren? See Rev 12:10. It's Satan's role to bring charges against your brothers. Not yours.

The original papyri they wrote the scriptures upon whilst they were until the inspiration of the Spirit, is the inspired word of God. Those who took those papyri and copied it, they were not inspired whilst they copied it, and those copies are not inspired, but copies of the inspired word of God. Even your beloved KJV can not escape this.

To hold that the bible is error-free, one must also hold to EVERY person who copied the copies of the copies, of the copies, of the copies, &c, must have been inspired as they copied it to keep it error-free.

Your post here seems to favour that inspiration has something to do with the texts, the writings and not the writers that you’ve first mention.

I am not for sure what exactly you're asking, so if its not the answer you're looking for, please forgive me. The writers were inspired as they wrote the scriptures. Those scriptures were free from error, as they were penned as men were moved by the Holy Spirit.

Now, those original papyri were error-free, but to say that the bibles we have now are also error-free, means that all those who made copies of the copies, of the copies, of the copies, of the copies, and so on, had men also inspired via the Holy Spirit as they copied those copies.

Some churches do hold to the notion the KJV translators were also inspired as they translated the KJV.

The writers were inspired. No, their writings are. Moved by the Holy Spirit is not synonymous to inspiration. Copies of scriptures in the hands of Jesus, the Berean, Timothy etc. are given by inspiration.

I do not believe that the translators of the KJV were also inspired, what they have translated is given by inspiration. It's alive and well.
