Glad to hear that! J I aim to be on my best behaviour too but with many temptations by the evil one, many a times I have failed – BUT GOD – thankfully He pulls me into line, so I can remain on track with Him bearing good fruit.

2 Corinthians 13:11 “Aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.”

I try to be in step with Him but being just a mere human being I occasionally stub my toe.

Yes I know – me too. I have to constantly remember that I need to include Him in everything I do and not to allow the busyness of life to interfere with that. He is the Lord over my life – and if I want things to run smoothly then He must be the one at the helm.

I like kids.I have four of my own.Two girls and two boys (now grown).Whew!!!But anyway my sister's two year old son stayed the weekend with me and I took him fishing.Nothing unusual happened.It was just a pleasant time that we spent together on the lake.When we got home I grilled us some hotdogs and we watched Finding Nemo...
Oh yeah...I caught about three nice fish that I cleaned and plan to fry up for dinner tonight...

Hey 10-four – how you doing? Nice to see you here again. I like it how you get real on here and tell us what you are doing and about your adventures with ducks and so forth. Thank you for that and I’m glad you were able to take some time to go fishing and enjoy God’s wonderful creation. That’s such a cute movie – Finding Nemo – have seen it plenty of times too. Enjoy your fish, brother. Perhaps you could share some recipes with us here – that’s it I’m hungry!

The news for today is we are finally having some very cool weather
and last night was freezing - had to get up and put a T-shirt on.
Even Mitzy snuggled in on the bed for warmth.

It is grape harvesting time here in the Barossa Valley.
And the nights are noisy with the sound of mechanical harvesters
and their attending tractors and bins.
Trucks galore as they cart of their precious loads of mashed grapes
to innumerable wineries for this year's vintage.

Glad when it is all over. Some peace and quiet for a while.

Then the Barossa will make world famous wine and export millions
of bottles of shiraz and cabernet and all that to Canada which is a
major market for our wines.
Apparently Two Hands Wines are big in Canada.
Don't ya love trivia ...

German heritage cemetery of German pioneers with all the headstones
having their information written in German.

This is a photo of the Gnadenfrei Lutheran Church at
Marananga - a small town a few miles from Tanunda.
Home to one of the great brass bands in the world and several
famous wineries.

here in the Barossa Valley

Thank you for this, its very interesting to me. I have German, Irish, & English heritage, in my family!! My gr8 grand parents, on my Fathers side of the family are buried in Sydney, Rookwood Cemetery, & their surname is Shingle. They came over to Australia as 1 of 11 German families to start a new life here selling Fine Porcelain, which they brought with them on board the Ship.

I'm gonna eat that apple.

I was preparing to eat an apple a few days ago, and because I did not want it fridge-cold, I put it in some hot water to gently speed up the warming process. A little while later, when I thought it was ready to eat, I could see the water had made visible whatever it is they spray on apples, for whatever purpose... and it did not look pretty at all I scrubbed and scrubbed that apple trying to remove the film that had been invisible prior to the soaking, all to no avail I eventually peeled the apple. Man, it has been a long time since I'd last peeled an apple! However, I may never again eat another apple without peeling it first...

I took this one of Magenta, after she ate her peeled Apple. She was so upset about that Apple, she flew high above the World to a special cloud of her own, just to play the Harp!

Hahahahahahah I is so sneaky, she never knew I was there!!!!!!
I snuck up after her, cause I love to take candid shots, & caught her de-stressing playing Heavenly music, on her Harp!!!
