It certainly wasn't Moses,Jesus said"them of old time" not any "one person".
Hi Joe nice to see you. I do not think that Studyman is saying it is referring to Moses. He is saying that the scripture applies to all.
It certainly wasn't Moses,Jesus said"them of old time" not any "one person".
I know, hence my "biblical verification" of his point.Hi Joe nice to see you. I do not think that Studyman is saying it is referring to Moses. He is saying that the scripture applies to all.
So in your view Jackson the car is breaking the Sabbath? Amazing
Not my view dear
God say not to kindle fire on sabbath
Exodus 35:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.
and I agree with you dear, the word of God is amazing.
chose, follow God or man made law.
Does God really want us not to light a fire on the Sabbath and possibly freeze to death?
Or has man made it up and taken God's name in vain?
Of course not you have a preparation day before the Sabbath to get everything ready for your fire if you need one to keep warm.
No Jackson what has kindling a fire have to do with your car breaking the Sabbath?
You shan't even light it.
Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day. (Exo 35:3 KJV)
Do you seriously think not lighting a fire, by which means you keep the law, will get you into heaven?
Did you watch the video? I give you link how the car engine work dear, check it out
when you start your car, the spark plug produce fire, so simple logic dear
to make simple, start your car mean kindle fire. Unless your car is electric, it may not but not guaranty.I work with Electric motor ( washing machine) I see sparking fire but not significant.
Yep so like I said you believe the Car is breaking the Sabbath and you need to stone it and put it to death. Amazing.
You need to read your bible my friend seem you are only making up things in order to follow your tradition that break the Commandments of God.
ALL who CONTINUE in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN WILL be LOST and NOT Enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.
.................
God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)
Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)
There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.
Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?
In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).
Actually The text is a bit ambiguous. It basically can be translated two ways.Originally Posted by Studyman![]()
now you are just being deceitful. The question is not now nor has it even been if God directed Moses not to kill. The question is who Jesus was speaking of in Matt 5. You preach it was Moses so you can use it to justify you religious traditions. But when Jesus rebuked the Pharisees He didn’t care about your religious traditions. He was letting His disciples know that what the Pharisees taught was incomplete and not what God had intended. You can make all the play on words you want. But You are preaching a lie when you say Jesus was speaking about Moses. I fully expect you to continue this lie as you depend on the lie that Jesus “chang d” God Laws so therefore He could have changed the “ day of worship “ which is the origin of your reason for telling this lie in the first place. I’m done playing these games with you.It certainly wasn't Moses,Jesus said"them of old time" not any "one person".
Kindling a fire is reference to the work involved in doing so. There is no work involved in turning on a stove or starting a car.not the car dear, if you kindle fire, you breaking the law, not the fire or the gas stove.
When you put you gas stove on, you breaking the law, not the stove
when you start the car on sabbath, you breaking the law, not the car
True, we are not living under the Old Covenant any more. The scripture you quote is in relation to doing work under the civil laws of Israel in the OLD Covenant. You do not have to worry about kindling (preparing) a fire if you have done your preparation before the Sabbath starts on the preparation day (thurday evening to friday evening).
Exodus 35
1, And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD has commanded, that you should do them.
2, Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day it shall be to you a holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever does work on it shall be put to death.
3, You shall kindle no fire throughout your houses upon the sabbath day.
At the time this was given most work was conducted using fire were work was required to make fire (collecting wood, kindling making fire). This is why there is a preparation day before the Sabbath starts.
We are not living under the OLD Covenant laws of Israel we are in the NEW Covenant now and it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. All preparations must be done before the Sabbath starts.
So if we are not living under the Old Covenant, why are you still doing it and why do you keep posting about it?
not the car dear, if you kindle fire, you breaking the law, not the fire or the gas stove.
When you put you gas stove on, you breaking the law, not the stove when you start the car on sabbath, you breaking the law, not the car

I am not living under the OLD Covenant I am living under the NEW Covenant's GIFT of LOVE through FAITH in God's WORD. Many do not know what the Old Covenant is and have been taugh to be believe it is something that it is not because they do not read Gods Word for themselves.
What makes up the Old Covenant in your view?
Happy do discuss this with you and share God's Word.

Matt 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
Matt 5:21 Ye heard that it was said to the ancients, thou will not commit murder, but whoever should commit murder, he will be liable to the judgment.
Hmmm?
Nothing. It is ended. End off. Try to understand. God makes a New Covenant with man and you just ignore it. That is not a good thing to do.
There is no ignoring. For GOD has said, "this is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving My laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."Nothing. It is ended. End off. Try to understand. God makes a New Covenant with man and you just ignore it. That is not a good thing to do.
