I love cats, but this made me chuckle. Thank you. :)

The love of Christ has transformed my life. He has been there for me through thick and thin. He won’t ever leave you or abandon you, nor will He give you up. Remember, He chose you. He wants to be there with you, from the time you get up in the morning to the time you go to sleep at night. This is the way of the Lord. This is what He wants from you. Anything less is not good enough. Think about this. Are you with Him every step of the way?

That is so cool! I used to have a dog just like that, and the breed is very intelligent. My Weimaraner ate onions and watermelon seeds though, which sometimes made me question his intelligence... But other than that he was very smart.

I gotta say I've had to avoid more dogs on the road than cats. Dogs seem to be dumber in that respect. Cats occasionally get hit on the road, but usually they have the sense to get out of it when they hear a car coming. Dogs... ugh, some of the dogs I have tried to avoid hitting on the road... It wouldn't be so bad if they just stood there, but they mosey along so you never know if they suddenly turned in front of your car right at the last second when you couldn't see them.

No. Cats cross the street when they see the car running like they have a death wish, like they think they are faster than the car that they want to beat the speed of the car. Maybe for the thrill since they look bored all the time. I have experienced this many times. Maybe they are not really dumb but they just want some thrill.

They do that for the same reason squirrels do it - because they have a "home" perch, like squirrels have a "home" tree. Squirrels can't just climb any old tree when in danger, they have to get to their "home" tree. And the squirrel Murphy's Law is the "home" tree is always on the other side of the road.
