Okay here's the thread. We can continue talking about if we might possibly be that church Jesus said to: you have little strength but you have not denied Me. (And any other nook or cranny we find ourselves talking about.
)
what scriptures are you quoting Stunned?
One of the 7 churches in Revelation.
LOL! Get the actual verse and the text and quote it: it will give your thread more credibility!
Its rev 3:8.
So the question we were having is, why little strength?
i believe those scriptures were written to encourage the saints to persevere and the power it talked about was the ability to save their lives. God took them out of the world by allowing them to die.
And why did Jesus call it little power?
Yes I agree its encouraging to read.![]()
Revelation 6
9When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. 10They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers[SUP]c[/SUP] should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been
So you connect Philadelphia with those killed in the great tribulation?
Carefull, delicate subject
Wasn't it out Redeemer that said from,
"from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, this generation will be held responsible for it all."
Yes
Revelation 12
11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
