If i promoted 9 of the 10 commandments (not the sabbath one) as something good to obey (not to be saved but because we believe they are Gods will for our good), most people would have no issue but because the Sabbath is part of the 10, the whole law has to be thrown out.

Understanding Why the Sabbath was given, really helps you to understand why it is still important to keep today.

it is perfectly fine for one to keep the Sabbath if they want. but, when some try to act like it is a command to Christ followers, then that is wrong.

what you and many fail to understand is this- gentiles were never under the law. never were commanded to keep the Sabbath.

I do rest on Sunday, the Lord's day. so I honor God's rest. but I , nor any other Christ follower HAS to keep the jewish Sabbath for salvation. no matter what ellen white says. she has no authority.

You seem a little mixed up my friend.

God's 4th Commandments is one of the 10 Commandments (Exodus 20:8-11)

If you break it just like ANY of the other 10 Commandments you stand guilty BEFORE God in SIN because SIN is the transgression of God's LAW (1 John 3:4; Romans 7:7)

Those who CONTIUNE to KNOWINGLY break God's Commandments will NOT enter into God's KINGDOM because they have rejected the GIFT of God's dear son.

If you reject the GIFT of God's dear son and continue in SIN God's Word says the wages of SIN is death (Romans 6:23)

...............

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

You are the one that is mixed up.

It is not a carnal following or carnal understanding of the law that causes a person to be without sin before God.

Romans 9:31-32
[SUP]31 [/SUP]But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
[SUP]32 [/SUP]Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

That's the same thing that happens to todays "Sabbath keepers". They are not without sin because they think they follow the 4th commandment.

Only those whose faith is in Christ Jesus are without sin and these are the ones who do not work at their carnal understanding of the 10 commandments.

Galatians 3:2-3
[SUP]2 [/SUP]This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Are you so foolish to think that it is your work at commandments that makes you without sin???

Grandpa you are a funny one. I love those scriptures you have quoted above. I have told you many times already though that I believe, as do many others do here, that we are ONLY SAVED by GRACE through FAITH and NOT of ourselves. It is a GIFT of GOD and not of WORKS lest any man should boast (Eph 2:8).

Now if we all in agreement that we do not obtain salvation and righteousness by trying to keep God's LAW then we are all in agreement and you have no argument now do you?

If you have no argument then what is it that you are arguing about?

Some people however make the mistake of assuming the GRACE and FAITH are a liscence to SIN. This is not biblical at all and is is false Gospel which first originated in the Garden of Eden by the father of lies.

If your FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE then you are still in your SINS because you have rejected the GIFT of God's dear son (Hebrews 10:26-27; Romans 6:23). If your tree has not FRUIT then it will be cast down and thrown into the fire (Matt 7:12-23; James 2:18-20; 26)

GRACE and FAITH do not ABOLISH God's LAW they ESTABLSIHT it because being born again to LOVE is the fulfilling of God's LAW in those who BELIEVE.

WHAT IS GRACE FOR?

Romans 1
5, By whom we have received GRACE and apostleship, FOR OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH among all nations, for his name.

Romans 6
1, What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. 2, How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

DOES FAITH ABOLISH GOD'S LAW?

Romans 3
31,
Do we then ABOLISH THE LAW THROUGH FAITH? GOD FORBID: YES, WE ESTABLISH THE LAW.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THOSE WHO CONTINUE IN SIN ONCE THEY RECEIVE A KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH?

Hebrews 10
26,
For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,
27, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Indeed, those who CONTINUE IN SIN will not enter the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

..............

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

the Sabbath command was given to Israel only at Sinai.
Well gb9,

Those statements have no truth in them. Let's look at what God says...

WHO IS GOD'S ISRAEL IN THE NEW COVENANT.

THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: FOR YOU ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS AND IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN YOU ARE ABRAHAM'S SEED FOR YOU ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS and IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN ARE YOU ABRAHAM'S SEED, AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE (Galatians 3:28).

No explanation needed, believe God's Word, and again..........

FOR THEY ARE NOT ALL ISRAEL WHICH ARE OF ISRAEL,: NEITHER, BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SEED OF ABRAHAM, ARE THEY ALL CHILDREN: but in Isaac shall thy seed be called <Christ> That is, THEY WHICH ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE FLESH, THESE ARE NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD: BUT THE CHILDREN OF THE PROMISE <those who believe> ARE COUNTED FOR THE SEED (Romans 9:6).

FOR HE IS NOT A JEW WHICH IS ONE OUTWARDLY; NEITHER IS THAT CIRCUMCISION, WHICH IS OUTWARDS IN THE FLESH: BUT HE IS A JEW WHICH IS ONE INWARDLY; and CIRCUMCISION IS OF THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT, AND NOT IN THE LETTER; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (Romans 2:28-29)

God's Israel...............

Galatians 3:28-29,
THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Colossians 3:11,
WHERE THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Romans 10:11-13,
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. FOR THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JEW OR GREEK: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.

Romans 2:28-29,
FOR HE IS NOT A JEW WHICH IS ONE OUTWARDLY; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: BUT HE IS A JEW WHICH IS ONE INWARDLY ; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

The New Covenant is for God's Israel..........

Jeremiah 31:33-4,

BUT THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL; After those days, says the LORD, I WILL PUT MY LAW IN THEIR INWARD PARTS,AND WRITE IT IN THEIR HEARTS; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Hebrews 8:10-12,

BUT THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL; After those days, says the LORD, I WILL PUT MY LAW IN THEIR INWARD PARTS, AND WRITE IT IN THEIR HEARTS; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Hebrews 10:14-17,
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR HEARTS, AND INTO THEOR MINDS WILL I WRITE THEM; and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Galatians 3:29,

AND IF YOU BE CHRISTS THEN YOU ARE ABRAHAMS SEED AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE.

The New Covenant is for God's Israel which represent those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God’s WORD. If you are not part of God's Israel you are not part of the New Covenant (Hebrews 8:10-12).

God's Israel are those that believe the Word of God and follow it and is why Jesus says If you love me keep my commandments (John 14:15)

Yep seems like God's Israel in the NEW COVENANT are all those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's WORD. Gentiles have been grafted in after all and if you are not a part of God's Israel as defined in the NEW TESTAMENT then you are not a part of the NEW COVENENT. Seems God's Word disagrees with you here my friend.

the other 9 were all repeated in the N.T. Sabbath was not. not there.
Now gb9 seems God's Word disagrees with you again...

ALL OF GOD'S LAW REPEATED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT

1 To worship the Lord God only (Luke 4:8; Matthew 4:10; Revelation 14:7)
2 No Idolatry (John 4:24; Acts 15:20; 1 Corinthians 6:9; Ephesians 5:5; 1 Peter 4:3; 1 John 5:21; Revelation 2:14)
3 You shall not take the Name of the Lord your God in vain. (1 Timothy 6:1, James 2:7)

4 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
(Mark 2:27-28, Hebrews 4; Matthew 12:8; Matthew 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56(Mark 2:28; Matthew 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matthew 16:24; 1 Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Revelations 1:10 Is binding on all mankind today COL 2:14-17 THE REAL TRUTH THREAD (Linked)

Honour your father and mother. (Ephesians 6:1; Colossians 3:20; Matthew 15:4; Matthew 19:19)
6 You shall not murder. (Matthew 5:44-45; Matt. 5:21-26; Romans 13:9; 1 Timothy 1:9; 1 John 3:15; James 2:11; Matthew 19:18)
7 You shall not commit adultery. (Matthew 5:28, 1 Cor. 5:11, 1 Cor. 6:18, Galatians 5:19, Hebrews 13:4, James 2:11, Matthew 19:19, Romans 13:9)
8 You shall not steal. (1 Corinthians 6:10, Romans 2:21, Mark 7:21, Ephesians 4:28, Romans 13:9, Matthew 19:18)
9 You shall not lie. (Matthew 15:19, Ephesians 4:25, Col. 3:9; Matthew 19:18, Romans 13:9)
10 You shall not covet (Luke 12:15, Romans 7:7, Ephesians 5:3, 1 Tim. 6:10, Hebrews 13:5, Romans 13:9)

There is a lot of scriptures here you seemed to have missed for some reason. Hope this help your study of God's WORD.

SIN is the transgression of God's LAW (1 John 3:4; Romans 7:7) If we break ANY of God's 10 commandments we commit SIN Those who KNOWINGLY continue in SIN will NOT enter God's KINGDOM.

............................................

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.

nah, thanks, I do not need your help, if anything, you need mine.

I have read the Bible, all the way through, many times. I know what it says, and what it does not. what you are doing is just plucking verses, out of context, and then conjoining them, with your own commentary added in.

no context or chronological order is used in your post. just connecting Sabbath , which does not save, to every piece of Scripture.

and sin is missing the mark, falling short of a standard, knowing to do good and not doing so. not just breaking a command. but, you have to define sin as a narrow, breaking a command thing, to keep Sabbath attached.

and sin is missing the mark, falling short of a standard, knowing to do good and not doing so. not just breaking a command. but, you have to define sin as a narrow, breaking a command thing, to keep Sabbath attached.
WHAT IS SIN?

James 2
8, If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well:
9, But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10, For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, YOU ARE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF GOD'S LAW

James is pretty clear if we brake ANY of God's Law (10 commandments) then we are a TRANSGRESSOR of God's LAW

links to...........

1 John 3
4 Whosoever commits SIN transgresses also the law: for SIN is the transgression of the law.
John is in agreement with James and states that if we TRANSGRESS God's LAW then we commit SIN because SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF GOD'S LAW. So it is very clear that SIN is breaking ANY of God's LAW (10 commandments)
Links to...........

Romans 7

7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known SIN, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Well here we have Paul in agreement with James and John also telling us that SIN is breaking God's commandments and uses the 10th commandment as an example of breaking any of God's LAW (10 commandments) = SIN (Exodus 20:17)

Links to............

Romans 3

20, Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: FOR BY THE LAW IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN.
Once again Paul is in agreement with John and James which all agree together that if we break any of God's LAW (10 commandments) we commit SIN because as James, John and Paul all agree together that SIN is breaking ANY of God's 10 commandments.

God's Word is in disagreement with you my friend. SIN is the transgression of God's LAW (10 commandments)

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

....................

God's Word says SIN in breaking God's LAW; Now that we have the definition of Sin from God’s WORD let’s connect some of the scriptures…..

1 John 3
3,
And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
4, Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF GOD'S LAW.
5, And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6, Whosoever abides in him
SIN<breaks God's LAW> not: whosoever SIN<breaks God's LAW> hath not seen him, neither known him.
7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous
<Psalms 119:172 All your commandments = RIGHTEOUSNESS>.
8, He that commits
SIN<breaks God's LAW> is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9, Whosoever is born of God DOES NOT commit
SIN<breaks God's LAW>; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot SIN<breaks God's LAW>, because he is born of God.
10, In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.
11, For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12, Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13, Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14, We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not his brother abides in death.
15, Whosoever hates his brother is a
murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

Some key points..........

v4.
SIN = Breaking God's Commandments
v6. Those who knowingly break God's commandments do not know God
v7. Don't be DECEIVED only those who DO NOT break God's commandments are is RIGHTEOUS as HE IS RIGHTEOUS
v8. If you are living in a life of KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN you are following the DEVIL and not GOD (Acts 17:30-31; Heb 10:26:27)
v9. If you are BORN OF GOD you will NOT practice SIN
v10. LOVE AND OBEDIENCE to GOD'S LAW SHOW WHO ARE GOD'S PEOPLE and DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD'S LAW SHOW THE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL
v15. Example of the 7th commandment (Exodus 20: 13) being broken. Those who brake God's LAW and SIN DO NOT have ETERNAL LIFE

Links to what Jesus says in Matthew..............

Matthew 7
21,
Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; BUT HE THE DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER IN HEAVEN <FAITH THAT WORKS BY Love and OBEDIENCE>
22, Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23, And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU <1 John 3:6 = has not seen him or known him because they break God's LAW and practice SIN>: DEPART FROM ME YOU WHO WORK INIQUITY (SIN)

Yep seems Jesus, James Paul and John all agree that SIN is breaking God's Commandments.

SIN is the transgression of God's LAW (1 John 3:4; Romans 7:7) If we break ANY of God's 10 commandments we commit SIN.

Those who KNOWINGLY continue in SIN will NOT enter God's KINGDOM.

.............

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

i think both Peter and Paul encourage us to be of one mind with other believers, members of the body of Christ

we know that divisions within the body are bad
What is the true Body of Christ?

Matt. 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matt. 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.5
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Jesus could have warned about Islam, or Atheists or heathens here, but He didn't. There is only one group of people on the planet that comes in Christ's Name, that claims that Jesus is truly the Christ. And that is Christianity. So Jesus is specifically warning about "Christians" who come to deceive. And this theme is constant throughout the Bible. Jesus was killed by the only God of Abraham preaching people on the planet. Stephen was stoned to death, not by heathens, but by those who claimed the God of Abraham as their God. This theme goes all the way back to Caleb whose religious brothers wanted to kill for telling the truth, all the way back to Abel who was killed by his "Christian" brother Cain. This Biblical truth can not be denied.

Ask yourself, everyone on this forum knows of man's sinful nature. I hear it every day. Man is so wicked they can't possibly obey God's Commandments. Yet, these same people trust preachers and web sites over the Word of God every day. They know man is deceitful and sinful, yet prefer his preaching over the Word of God.

Why is this Dan?

Jesus tells us flat out so that even a child could understand.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Religious doctrines and traditions of man are preferred over the Word because we don't want our wickedness exposed to others or even our self. If you are honest with yourself you know this is true. But we know for sure that there is one MAN who "over come" His human wickedness. One God who loved us so much that He became a MAN to show us how to "Endure". How to have victory over our flesh. He is the Rock, the foundation of my Faith. Not the Pope, or Jim Bakker. But Jesus.

Heb. 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

1 John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Duet. 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I (Jesus) have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

I don't know who you are and you don't know me. But we both can choose God and His Words like Abel, Noah, Abraham, Caleb, Rehab, Zechariahs, etc did. (compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses,)

We can trust Him and His Body while we "Seek" the Kingdom of God.

Rom. 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

How can I prove this if I am following the preaching of a person that Jesus warned about? How can I know the truth if I am following a church that transgresses the Commandments of God by their religious traditions?

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And (THEN) I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Again;

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Remember, Jesus said the path was narrow and few are on it. Let's find the path first.

Matt. 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Then we can see who is in the Body.

see, here is trap, circular thinking. if I do not break a command, I do not sin. that is dangerous thinking. note the rich man and lazarus ( Luke 16 )- Jesus mentions not one of the 10n that the rich man broke, in fact he could have keep them all, and still went to hell. because he did not feed or help the beggar, who he saw regularly, and could have helped.

the rich man was not recorded as breaking any of the 10, yet, because he knew to do good, but did not do so, he failed to get into the Kingdom.

stop drinking the ellen white cool aid, and think. think. read the whole Bible, don't move any verses, don't conjoin, just start at Genesis 1, and go. you will see what I and others are trying to tell you.

1st John , John was not talking about the Sabbath, the commands He was speaking of were believe in the name of the Son, and love one another. same guy, same letter.
Jesus said the Sabbath was made for you, yet you don't believe this. So do you believe in another Jesus that didn't create the Sabbath for man, or do you just pick and choose between what Words Jesus said that are below your superior holiness, and what Words you judge as acceptable to you?

the Sabbath command was given to Israel only at Sinai. along with the other 9. the other 9 were all repeated in the N.T. Sabbath was not. not there. it is not a command on gentiles. Acts 15.
Jesus said the Sabbath was created for man, not Israel. Are you calling Jesus a liar?

mount of transfiguration - God the Father came down in the presence of Moses ( the law ) and Elijah ( the profits ) and said " this is my beloved Son....... hear HIM.

in doing so, the Father separated Jesus as superior to the law and profits, separating His words from theirs.

now, go ahead with your conspiracy theories and tell me how the catholic church has tarnished my understanding of Scripture.

* I have never set foot in a catholic church, but have read the Bible all the way through many times. I have no desire to breakdown and reconstruct Scripture, I just accept it as it is.

if God gives different people different amounts of light

how do you know if you're one of the ones with a lot of light, and thus able to see the truth in the scriptures?

i have carefully looked at all the scriptures you've posted, and I'm fully convinced i have the right understanding of them

i can accept that you are fully convinced, can you accept that i am?
If I may ask a question Dan. Why don't you show an example of a scripture that LGF and you have differing understandings of. If you are both of the same Body isn't that the way disagreements regarding scripture should be handled?

nope. I will call you one. because that is what you do- you lie, you belittle other's knowledge of the Bible, you insert your opinions as facts ( the thief on the cross already knew Christ, text does not say so, you do ), you pluck verse out of context, you say Acts 15 put gentiles under the Law, when in reality it says the opposite......

I could go on, but that is enough. just post your wrong conspiracy driven opinions , try your rules for radicals tactics, i'll prove you wrong , just as I have in the past.

now, go study the actual Bible , not your opinions. you need it.

Yet you follow all her traditions regarding "Feasts unto the Lord", Venus and Easter eggs, Winter Solstice you placed the birth of Jesus on, the Venerable Day of the Sun you reject the Sabbath Jesus made for man for. The list goes on and on.

By their works you shall know them He said. By your works you are a catholic.

Now if you followed the same verse you post, "this is my beloved Son....... hear HIM.", then you wouldn't throw His words in the toilet so you could promote ancient Catholic doctrine.

"the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

Luke 23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

You can preach that the thief didn't know Jesus until that very moment if you want. How did he know Jesus didn't deserve to be there? Oh, that's right, the Pope said it was spontaneous death bed conversion. Can't question your mentor.

um, Jesus had been in public for 3 years. he was famous. the thief knowing who he was, which is different than knowing and accepting Him as Lord and Savior, is not proof of a personal encounter.

pilate thought Jesus was innocent. but , he did not accept Him as Lord and Savior. see, interjecting things into the text, instead of just reading and accepting the text.

and, maybe we should be more concerned the rfid chip than who keeps what day and what the pope says. that is the real control device the n.w.o. is pushing out.

Jesus said the Sabbath was created for man, not Israel. Are you calling Jesus a liar?
When Jesus said that, He was defending people accused of breaking the Sabbath. He defended David's breaking the Law by eating the showbread ans was saying that breaking the Sabbath was no different. He was saying that the people who broke the Sabbath were more important than the Sabbath.
