The same as there is no command that says God's 4th commandment is now abolished and we are commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day.

Jesus says that if we knowingly follow the teachings and traditions of men that break God's commandments we are not following God. Who should we believe and follow the teachings and traditions of man or the Word of God? Jesus says if you love me keep my commandments. If we brake God's Law we do not show our love to God or man. If we brake one we are guilty before God of breaking them all and do not know him (James 2:8-12; 1 John 3:3-9)

UNBELIEF is from those that follow the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God because they choose not to believe God's Word and hold on to man made traditions. If you do not believe God's Word that is shared here. Please by all means make your case and let's talk scripture?

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word..

You are a liar, and a false teacher. There is NO commandment against Sunday worship.

Now my purple friend your are only trying to cover your tracks please post the link to the orignal posting for all to see and what is it in your view that I have lied about? You post a very old post that I corrected your interpretation of it a very long time ago. Now once I corrected your intepretation of what I was saying now you try and say something that I am not saying. This is indeed lying. Link please.

Now, what has the post you have posted got anything to do with your posted below?

You indeed are lying but this is between you and God now. Disagree?

As I said earlier...

Where have I ever posted here or anywhere in all of CC that I have said " Nobody reads the bible? Now are you telling the truth here? If your not telling the truth are you the one who is indeed lying?

If you cannot post any of your claims you have made here about me that your making then indeed you are the one who is judging and lying for all the world to see. Maybe this is something you need to pray about.

I will leave this between you and God for your consideration. No need to apologise to me, I have already forgiven you and left it between you and God.

SIN will keep all who practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM. Turn to the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteousn man his thoughts and he will abundently parden.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

What a train wreck...who has time for it? If someone doesn't yet understand the new and life giving way by the Spirit and not by the letter, no amount of arguing will get them to see it. God can though. :)
God's Spirit is HOLY and is ONLY given to those who by FAITH in OBEY GOD (Acts 5:32). If you are still in your SINS you have not seen him or known him. (1 John 2:3-4)

Missing the mark there mate.....if what you say is true then the statement about grieving the Spirit is false, chastisment is false and being born again from above by incorruptable seed is false...John also is a liar and his use of we, we, we and us to describe sin and how all who deny it are deceived and have no truth needs to be chunked as well....The words of Jesus also need to be chunked, heck....Paul's words need to be chunked, Peter is disqualified and the whole N.T. needs to he burnt........

Like I said, he is not worth getting upset over. Just put him on your Ignore List.

Here is where the Sabbath worship comes from, and it is for the ISRAELITES.

Exodus 31:13-17 (NRSV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] You yourself are to speak to the Israelites: "You shall keep my sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, given in order that you may know that I, the LORD, sanctify you.
[SUP]14 [/SUP] You shall keep the sabbath, because it is holy for you; everyone who profanes it shall be put to death; whoever does any work on it shall be cut off from among the people.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the LORD; whoever does any work on the sabbath day shall be put to death.
[SUP]16 [/SUP] Therefore the Israelites shall keep the sabbath, observing the sabbath throughout their generations, as a perpetual covenant.
[SUP]17 [/SUP] It is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel that in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed."

Leviticus 19:1-3 (ESV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
[SUP]2 [/SUP] “Speak to all the congregation of the people of Israel and say to them, You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and you shall keep my Sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.

If He wants to keep the Sabbath, he is permitted. BUT HE IS WRONG when he tells people that it was for everyone to have to KEEP IT. Like it says,

"for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations". "Therefore the Israelites shall keep the sabbaths".

Acts 5:32
And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God has given to them that obey him.

1 John 3:3-4

I am not upset. He repeats the same lies over and over again, like an automaton, then when they are pointed out to him, he feigns ignorance. That is being shown. According to his very own words, his sins will keep him out of the kingdom of God. We should pray for him.

I am watching a movie right now, while my dinner bakes in the oven.
I hope you have a good night :)

What's up Love God Forever I know where you stand and you know where I stand on "keeping the sabbath" but as a reminder I'll quote Jesus..."The sabbath was made for man not man for the sabbath and the son of man is Lord of the Sabbath" so naturally my belief is that...
1.The sabbath originally was made for man to rest from working so as to not overexhaust themselves.
2.The Sabbath was made a commandment and statute for Israel to observe to abide by.
3.By accepting Jesus as Saviour and Lord we accept the works he did making them our own so that commandments and statutes are already "done".
4.So we having the Holy Spirit and Jesus's works can choose if we so desire to tribute one day as our Sabbath to God/Jesus but the "day" is of no consequence for the Sabbath once we accept Jesus as Saviour and Lord accepting Salvation and his works the "Sabbath" is "completed" for us and a tribute is a tribute so it also is of no consequence.

Sunday worship is a teaching and tradition
of man that breaks the commandments of God.

Hi Joe nice to see you again.

You know already that I BELIEVE that we are only saved by GRACE through FAITH and not of ourselves it is a GIFT of God lest any man should boast.

The purpose of God's LAW is not to make us righteous but to show us that we are sinners in need of a Saviour to save us from SIN. Jesus is our Saviour indeed. What many do not seem to believe is that we have a Savior that can save us from out SINS. He does not saves us to give us a liscence to CONTINUE in SIN.

SIN God's Word says, is the breaking of God's Commandments (1 John 3:4; Romans 7:7; James 2:9-11). If ewe break God's Commandments we stand guilty before God in SIN and in need of a Saviour.

By accepting Jesus as our Saviour we do indeed accapt his RIGHTEOUSNESS for our SINS. Here is were we are to REPENT and GIVE UP our sins take up our cross and follow him who did no SIN. This is only the very beginning of our Christian walk.

As you have received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk ye in HIM. He that ABIDES IN him SINS not for his SEED abides in him through FAITH can does not SIN.

This is the NEW Covenant promise of God's LAW written on the heart to LOVE and to follow him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE another.

Christian growth is about walking IN HIM, resisting temptation to SIN and to FOLLOW Jesus who did no SIN. A

AS we grow in GRACE, God reveals more things in out lives that before we thought we not SIN. When God reveals a KNOWLEDGE of the truth to us then we are to REPENT and seek God's FORGIVENESS so we can have a closer walk with Jesus. This is growing or sanctification.

The Sabbath was made for man to rest as God rested from His Word of Creation to REMEMBER the God of Creation. It was given to us by God himself as a HOLY DAY where no work is to be done on this day.

Origin of the Sabbath is BEFORE SIN in the creation week.

Genesis 2
1,
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2, And ON THE SEVENTH DAY God ended his work which he had made; and he RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY from all his work which he had made.
3, And GOD BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY, and made it HOLY <the 7th day>: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

4th Commandment of the 10 that gives a KNOWLEDGE OF SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS (Romans 3:20; Ps 119:172)

Exodus 20
8
, Remember the SABBATH DAY , to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why?> Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day; He knew his professed people would forget it)
9, Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10, But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God : in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY>
11, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH DAY : wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH, and HALLOWED IT

Breaking God's 4th Commandment is SIN just like breaking ANY of the 10 Commandments. SIN will keep ALL who practice it out of God's KINGDOM.

God's Sabbath is not a choice it is the 4th Commandment in the 10 Commandments. If we break any of the 10 Commandments we stand guilty before God in SIN. It is continuing in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN that will keep all out of God's KINGDOM.

Then you repeatedly add to that, saying you will be kept out of God's kingdom by sin. So it is not grace after all, but sinless perfectionism, including Sabbath keeping, that you preach, while you go around lying and bearing false witness, which is a sin. God hates your lying lips :(

You my purple friend are indeed telling lies now. This is sad for you.

I corrected this statement with you some time ago and explained to you direclty in person in the very next posting and since on more then one occasion that this was not the meaning of my post.

I also explained to you in person directly that it is not what day you worship God on that is SIN and we should worship God EVERY DAY of the WEEK.

What is SIN is when you BREAK God's 4th Commandment by NOT keeping the SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK AS A HOLY DAY then you SIN against GOD.

ALL of my post signatures since, have also ready as follows.......

Now if I have made my self clear to you and spoken to you directly and told you what it is I believe and then you go around and tell other people I say and BELIEVE something that I do not. Then are you telling lies or are you not telling lies?

You my purple friend know exactly what I have said to you as I have spoken to you personally about this do you deny it?

Well that has no truth in it whatsoever. You indeed deny the POWER of God unto salvation in order to justify breaking his Commandments in order to follow your Catholic traditions. God does not save us IN SIN. The Good news is that God saves us from SIN.

Grace is not a liscence to SIN it is for OBEDIENCE to the faith.

That post was not even to me, but to Dan. How many times did you LIE about what constitutes breaking the commandments of God before you FINALLY accepted my correction? Me saying you have said it is not a lie, but you lie to deny ever having said it, which you did multiple times in this very thread. Now you will probably deny that you denied it. LOL. You are so predictable. My dinner calls. May God have mercy on your soul.

Wheather the post was to MMD or someone else it is irrelavant. There was no lies in my posting whatsoever only my inability to express myself as I am a poor writer.

I have also had this same conversation with you in the past as well explaining what I have meant and yet you still try and tell everyone I am saying something and believing somthing that I do not believe even after I have corrected you.

This is indeed lying and bearing false witness against your neighbor.

You can make all the excuses you like to pretend you have not handled the Word of God poorly, it changes nothing. Whether I read your later explanations, I do not know. Can you prove you gave them? According to you, if you cannot, you are lying about that, too. Seriously, just stop. My dinner is ready to eat. Bye for now.

We have discussed this in the past where i have explained to you that I do not BELIEVE that if you worship God on Sunday you are breaking God's LAW. To say otherwise is only being dishonest.

It is breaking God's 4th Commandments (not keeping the SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK as a HOLY DAY) that is breaking God's 4th Commandment that I was referring to and that I corrected you as to my meaning.

Sunday worship has indeed led many to do this because they think that Sunday is God's day and not the Sabbath.

Same old same old,I standby what I posted,Jesus has paid the penalty for our sins and completed the law and through receiving him we received his works,Jesus told of breaking one commandment breaks all the commandments first as a"point" for the self righteous pharisees to see that they broke commandments even on the Sabbath day and it was concerning "the law" the law is not done away with but it is no longer "unto death" to all who accept Jesus as Saviour and Lord,so while it can be said that one is "breaking a commandment" Jesus didn't do all his works for us to dwell on "trivial matters" in fact he is now our "high priest" and "mediator" so if it's that "big a deal" to us we can ask forgiveness instead of "fearing" and "dreading" breaking a commandment that God/Jesus already knew we most likely would break.

Nice to talk to you Joe.

SIN is not a light matter in God's eyes. If it was Jesus would not have to come and die on our behalf that we might live. The wages of SIN is death but the GIFT of GOD is eternal life through Jesus. If we continue in SIN God's Word says we do not KNOW him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE another (1 John 2:3-4; Hebrews 10:26-27).

Jesus came to be our Savior not only to save us from the penalty of SIN but from SIN itself (John 8:31-36) He that commits SIN is a servant of SIN and does not know our Saviour. Jesus wants to cleanse us from sin and all unrighteousness, and take it away and FREE us from SIN.

We are not to continue in SIN once we come to Jesus. If we continue in unrepentant SIN we will not see Jesus in the Kingdom of Heaven. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Please forgive all the typos in the last post. Sleepy Zzzzz

................

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

God's Spirit is HOLY and is ONLY given to those who by FAITH in OBEY GOD (Acts 5:32). If you are still in your SINS you have not seen him or known him. (1 John 2:3-4)
Sir, you cannot obey God UNLESS you have the Holy Spirit. If even anger in your heart is murder, as our Savior said, then you can not obey Him unless He does something for you. Are you saying you never get angry? Are you saying you aren't a murderer?

Your next move will be to say: it says "without cause!" That is a further matter that you will also not be seeing the full scope of, but for now, are you saying you never have anger in your heart at anyone?
