The law on speeding hasn't been ended, Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath gave us a New Law.
I worship the Lord of the Sabbath and not a calender.
If you are breaking God's Commandments in order to follow your Catholic traditions then you are NOT worshipping the Lord of the Sabbath, neither do you KNOW him.
Matthew 15
2, Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)
Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)
There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.
Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

LGF - context! This is why you must read the entire chapter, not just pick out random verses that suit you.
I mark in blue the bits you completely ignored from the verses that you quoted.
You quote v13 and yet you miss off v11 & 12. How can you expect v13 to be clear to you when you don't read the preceding verses? Can you see what it's actually saying? Here... "And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified"
Keywords. Who are the enemies mentioned in V13? They are clearly not believers. Romans confirms one is considered an enemy before they are saved.... Romans 5:10-11: "For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation"
How does the entire chapter conclude?...... V38-39: "Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him. But we (believers) are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul"
Romans 8:28-30: "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified"
One of the Problems is we are not speaking of anything fulfilled. Fulfill is the word in verse 17.
Fulfill is not end, it is to complete in the sense of do to the uttermost. This in context is being said in relation to mandates (laws). It is translated from the Greek word pleroo. It is a verb. It means to fully, completely fill. Literally to cram, level up.
The BDAG Lexicon cites:
Mt 5:17; depending on how one prefers to interpret the context, πληρόω is understood here either as fulfill=do, carry out, or as bring to full expression=show it forth in its true mng., or as fill up=complete
Complete in the sense of do to the uttermost, Not End.

Think not that I am come ... - Our Saviour was just entering on his work. It was important for him to state what he came to do. By his setting up to be a teacher in opposition to the scribes and Pharisees, some might charge him with an intention to destroy their law, and to abolish the customs of the nation. He therefore told them that he did not come for that end, but really to fulfill or accomplish what was in the law and the prophets.
To destroy - To abrogate; to deny their divine authority; to set people free from the obligation to obey them. “The law.” The five books of Moses called the law. See the notes at Luk_24:44.
The Prophets - The books which the prophets wrote. These two divisions here seem to comprehend the Old Testament, and Jesus says that he came not to do away or destroy the authority of the Old Testament.
But to fulfil - To complete the design; to fill up what was predicted; to accomplish what was intended in them. The word “fulfill” also means sometimes “to teach” or “to inculcate,”

I came not to destroy, but to fulfil (ouk ēlthon katalusai alla plērōsai). The verb “destroy” means to “loosen down” as of a house or tent (2Co_5:1). Fulfil is to fill full. This Jesus did to the ceremonial law which pointed to him and the moral law he kept. “He came to fill the law, to reveal the full depth of meaning that it was intended to hold” (McNeile).

That he brought in an observation of the law much more pure and excellent than the Pharisaical observation of it was: which he confirms even to the end of the chapter, explaining the law according to its genuine and spiritual sense.
Not End.To fulfill is do to the uttermost. To show the full extant of what GOD had wanted from the beginning. TO magnify the Life in which GOD had intended from the beginning. A life in HIM and HE in us. True righteousness.
Another issue is the translations used. I like the KJV. But with being said it is not a perfect translation. Case and point.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
(Mat 5:17-18 KJV)
Fulfilled in verse 18 is translated from a different Greek word. That word is ginomai It also is a verb and it means cause to be ("gen"-erate), to become. Not ended but cause to be. As pleroo means, to fully completely fill, ginomai means to become. Neither word means end.
In Context Jesus said He had not come to destroy (loosen down) but to fulfill. Therefore Fulfill can not mean put an end to, because in that sense it would be destroyed (loosen Down).
To even further that point He said until heaven earth shall pass away not one jot or tittle shall pass from the Law until all is fulfilled (has become).

Sorry katy, you seem confused. Please explain how v11 and v12 or any other scripture in Hebrews 10 changes the meaning of

The adversaries are v26 those that are willfully SINNING after they have received a KNOWLEDGE of the truth. The adversaries are those who continue in SIN rejecting the gift of God's dear son.
Those who's SINS God remembers no more are those who partake of the NEW Covenant and have God's LAW written on their heart to LOVE through FAITH. LOVE is the fulfilling of God's LAW in those who BELIEVE.
Those who do not BELIEVE God and are still in their SINS and do not KNOW him who calls them in LOVE to LOVE another.
And this is the condemnation that men loved darkness rather then light because their deeds were evil. Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it.
SIN will keep all those who practice it OUT of the KINGDOM of HEAVEN. These are God's adversaries as referenced in v26 and v27 because they reject the GIFT of God's dear son in order to follow their SINS.

so, the guy who quotes 1st John about command keeping verbatim, then wants to use 25 verses out of 5 different books to explain context , when the context is clear- believe in the name of the Son and love one another, thinks someone else is confused.
when you use context, that is code for Sabbath. which does not save.
The Bible warns over and over about false Jesus, false preachers. The Jesus you and your religion created is not the Jesus of the Bible. That is one great thing the Word was created for. For us to use to expose the frauds and false religions who are prophesied to "Come in His Name", and deceive "many".
The Jesus of the Bible didn't preach against God or His Word in Matt. 5. or anywhere else. Your preaching that He did doesn't change this Biblical Fact.
If you do this in ignorance, then you can repent. But if you know the truth a preach against it anyway, well that's a different story.
John 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
If you know God's Word you know the CONTEXT. Your interpretation of the scriptures disagree with God's Word. If you knew God's Word you would speak the words of God. You are not from God neither do you know your words. You testify of your self. You indeed do not KNOW God's Word or him who the Word belongs.
Only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE another. If you were from God you would not speak of yourself but point all to him who LOVES all.
Here is the CONTEXT you leave out of your scriptures which is about SIN. As mentioned from the start SIN will keep all those who practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM.

If your faith has no FRUIT your tree will be cast down and thrown into the fire. SIN will keep all who practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM.
THE CONTEXT of 1 John 3 is those who SIN (BREAK GOD'S COMMANDMENTS) and those who do not...

3, And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
4, Whoever COMMITS SIN TRANSGRESSES ALSO THE LAW: for SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF GOD'S LAW

Here you have that reference John is talking about earlier repeated in emphasis in 1 John 2:3-4 [3], And hereby we do know that we know him, if wekeep his commandments. [4], He that said, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
7, Little children, LET KNOW ONE DECEIVE YOU: he that DOES RIGHTEOUSNESS IS RIGHTEOUS, even as he is righteous.
What is righteousness? PS 119:172 My tongue shall speak of your word: for all your commandments are righteousness.Yep we are definately talking about God's 10 Commandments. SIN is breaking God's Commandments (1 John 3:4; Romans 7:7; James 2:8-11; Romans 3:20)and RIGHTESOUNESS is OBEDIENCE to God's Commandments.

Seems like John is speaking pretty plain language here. If you are sining (breaking God's Commandments) then you do not know God and you are of the Devil
9, WHOSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD DOES NOT COMMIT SIN; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
Seems John is telling us the reason why Jesus says. Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).Those who practice SIN will NOT enter into God's KINGDOM
10, IN THIS THE CHILDREN OF GOD ARE MANIFEST AND THE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL: whoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.
IN THIS to SIN or NOT to SIN are the children of God and the Children of the devil manifest;
No need to be in confusion here. God's Word makes it very clear who God's saints are.
Revelation 12: [17], And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14: [12] HERE IS THE PATIENCE OF THE SAINTS: here are they that KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, and the faith of Jesus. Yep if you are still in your SINS you are not on God's side or do you know him.
11, For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12, Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And why slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13, Marvel not, my brothers, if the world hate you.
14, We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brothers. He that loves not his brother stays in death.

To put it all to rest now, John's now talking about the 6th Commandment of the 10 Commandments. This is the CONTEXT of 1 John 3:23 that you say is NOT talking about God's 10 Commandments. It seems God's Word disagrees with you.
Indeed the CONTEXT is about those who practice SIN which is what you follow in order to practice your traditions that break the Commandments of God. As mentioned from the very start; SIN will keep all those who practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM.

GREEN. I love the spirituality of the thought you express, and like you, my wish is that we all grow in love and grace as we strive towards the 'mark'. Any failure, it seems to me would be down to us and our freewill, and not Christ. I just get the feeling you seem to think Jesus failed to fulfil in every sense of the word, what he set out to achieve. This is something I cannot accept. The eventual total 'filling' you speak of, will be when the Jewish Nation turns to the Saviour. This Jesus covered when He commanded us, his ministers and evangelists, to go into all the world and preach the Gospel, which of necessity needs to be done worldwide to every generation, helped by the Holy Spirit, who Jesus sent. So there is still a work to be done and always will be, but his redeeming work where he conquered sin and death that the law imposes was well and truly accomplished when he rose from the tomb. As far as the salvation of mankind is concerned, I cannot think of anything he left undone, and on the cross he cried out, "It is finished" meaning "All Things are Accomplished DONE."

unbelief in Jesus is the only thing that will keep one out of Heaven. sin is knowing to do good, and not doing so.
and, in 1st John 4- John repeats himself - whoever loves God must love his brother. not whoever loves God must keep the Sabbath.
time and time again in the N.T. , instructional Scripture does not say " keep the Sabbath ". pluck, conjoin, commentate all you want, it ain't there.
In a sense yes. When do you stop loving your neighbor as yourself? How would you "fulfill" the requirement in this Law? would you be nice to one person then say, "Well, there you go, I loved my neighbor as myself, now I have fulfilled the Law and can continue on with my life as I see fit".

To fulfill a law, we must continue in it. Driving 55 for a block then speeding isn't fulfilling this law. We must continue in it.
Jesus didn't stop observing His Fathers instructions at His death. He still had lots of instructions to "fulfill". He didn't come to destroy the requirements of God's Instructions, He came to continue in them. To perform them, to make them manifest, "To Fulfill them".
If you love God and you love your neighbor, then what part of His instructions would you reject, ignore, rebel against? Adultery? His Sabbath? Passover?
We can't forget that we all have a serpent trying to trick us into disobedience as it did with Eve. It comes in Christ's Name, it uses the Word of God and is disguised as "Apostles of Christ", and "ministers of righteousness".
Jesus has given us the fool proof test to "Check ourselves" to see if we have been tricked or not.
1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
The prince of this world has created a lot of confusion regarding the following of God's Laws. But to those who shut out all the noise, pick up their cross and follow Jesus "Walk as He Walked" a special gift is given.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Believing and worshipping "another Jesus" which man created, you know, the long haired Levi Jean model which represents the "Christian" Jesus" in this world, would be refusing to accept the Jesus of the Bible. there are "many" who believe and preach this "Other Jesus". But I don't believe he can save you.

Unbelief in Jesus will indeed keep you out of God's KINGDOM. But what does that mean?

Jesus is the Word of God. If you do not BELIEVE God's WORD you do NOT believe in Jesus......

We are to LIVE by EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD (Matthew 4:4); IF we CONTINUE IN HIS WORD THEN ARE WE HIS DISCIPLES and we shall KNOW the TRUTH and the TRUTH shall set us FREE from SIN (John 8:31-32; 34;36).
We are made HOLY BY THE WORD and ONLY God's Word is TRUTH (Psalms 119:172); We are BORN AGAIN by FAITH in the WORD

JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD the power of creation(John 1:1-14; Genesis chapters 1-2).
EVERLASTING LIFE IS GIVEN TO THOSE THAT BELIEVE EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.
THE NAME of JESUS means SAVIOR (Matthew 1:21). We are BORN AGAIN as we BELIEVE GOD"S WORD. JESUS meaning Saviour means that THE WORD OF GOD IS JESUS AND THE WORD OF GOD ARE ONE AND THE WORD IF GOD IS OUR SAVIOR AS WE BELIEVE IT! FAITH IS THE VICTORY!
To BELIEVE on the LORD JESUS MEANS TO LIVE BY FAITH IN EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD!
IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD YOU DO NOT BELIEVE in JESUS because HE IS THE WORD OF GOD! JESUS IS THE WORD AND THIS IS WHAT WE ARE TO BELIEVE.

If you reject God's WORD you reject the Gift of God's dear SON. SIN will keep all who practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM.
Which ever way my friend you want to say it you either BELIEVE and FOLLOW ALL of God's Word or you are still in your SINS.
Doesnt look good for some come judgement day. Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE EVERY WORD.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)
There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.
Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)
Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

I told you the BASIC law is love. Love God mean love other. Sabbath is not BASIC law.
To tell not observe sabbath go to hell is mislead other not love other

one more time- dismissing what John was referring to when he said the commands were- believe in the name of the Son and love one another. not Sabbath.
I just read through 1st Corinthians - lots of instructions for believers . nothing on Sabbath. another example of a perfect place for Sabbath to be commanded for believers. but not there.
