Yes you could be right there. For our battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers and principalities of the heavenly realm. Eph 6:12
Because He did this for us:
John 15:13: "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
While we were this:
Romans 5:8: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

I know right! It's certainly unfathomable - just like His love for you and me and for everyone else - it's beyond our human comprehension, that's for sure.

When we get down and it seems like we can't get up again: we remember:
Psalms 91:1-4 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler."
If we can visualize a bird protecting its chick: How great is our God!
