By someone else's of course.... isn't that what cosmetic surgery is all about?
Then if it was by someone else's works and not their own, I'm guessing Ralph is going to say that those works don't count.

Apparently in your house it's imperative that he be a biologist too.He doesn’t have to be a winged male, perhaps a solider or worker ant. But as long as he has his six legs and antennae intact, his mandibles sharp, his compound eyes gleaming, and his thorax unscathed, I don’t think his attractiveness will diminish in old age. (Also, it's imperative that you have a terrific sense of humor in a marriage!)

For good looks, any help you can get counts exactly where it counts......in the flesh. Nothing wrong with 'dat, lol.Then if it was by someone else's works and not their own, I'm guessing Ralph is going to say that those works don't count.
All right, all my fellow ladies out there... Please excuse me for this, but a particular quote comes to mind:
"There are no ugly women, only lazy ones." -- Helena Rubinstein, the late cosmetics mogul.
Her point was simply that appearances (not God's free gift of salvation) require at least a little bit of work and effort.

I have never been able to convince my wife how beautiful she is when we wake up in the morning. That's beauty.
I sure would hate to see you go, but even I have to admit that it would be pretty funny to see the name "Oncefallen" with the title, "Banned Himself From the Forum" under it!

Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.
I think most people fall in love because of the way someone makes them feel about themselves. I heard a Christian psychologist once say that most couples are together due to availability. I believe that’s true, too. When someone makes themselves available to you, invests the time to show they care about you, and expresses their affection for you in words and actions, your heart is swayed in their direction. No matter what their appearance, an admirer can influence your heart by showing you love and attention.
By the same token, a person who is more interested in receiving love than in giving it is probably more focused on the physical attributes of a partner. Some may even discount a potential mate because they care more about how they’ll be judged by others. I think many men and women feel their self-worth would increase if they paraded around with a model type partner. They may assume the world will think them more desirable if their partner looks attractive.
Here’s something to consider, Jesus was not physically desirable. In fact, most of his followers weren’t much to write home about either. “Not many noble, not many wise…” And I’ll bet not many model types, either.
Physical attraction is not wrong. I think it’s human nature and God made us that way. But I don’t think people have to be near physical perfection to be beautiful. And I don’t think we should worry about how others will judge us for whom we choose to fall in love. I just think the more we focus on the outward, the further away we get from what really matters: lifelong compatibility. I think equally yoked means two people who are able to give and take in harmony and are suitably equipped to help each other endure this life with faith, hope and love.

Hello Ralph. I don't see you post very often but your post count is somewhat high, so I assume you spend most of your time posting in parts of the Forum I don't frequent. From your observed penchant for posting statements that seem engineered to elicit a volatile response, I am going to guess you spend a lot of time in the bible discussion forum. They do say that a cutting wit is the only edged weapon that gets sharper with constant use.
Please be aware that we do not intentionally start arguments in the singles forum like they do in the Bible discussions forum. The singles forum is more for a group of friends to hang out and chill together. If you want to bait people, please return to the Forum from whence you came. It's called 'validation'. People who have to have nice things, name brand clothing, the attention of people with money or status, expensive cars and homes, etc. are trying to validate themselves as someone worthy to have those things. By nature we automatically assume people who have those things are worth something.

I'm surprised you have never heard of it before. It is the home of the not by works thread, in which you seem to have made many posts.
