It's not about quantity. It's about if you are still LIVING IN sin like an unbeliever.

Paul said it plainly...

><> t <><

"those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God"-Galatians 5:21

This means one of three things.

1. Every single person alive is not going to inherit the kingdom because every single person 'lives like this'.

2. Grace is a license to sin that makes it so that those who believe can 'live like this' but still enter the kingdom.

3. Believers have the Holy Spirit in salvation and because of that they no longer 'live like this' but are being conformed to the image of Christ.

So which one are you going to go with? We know the gospel is true and that there will be those who will inherit the kingdom, so #1 is out. And you have said grace is not a license to sin, so #2 is out. That leaves #3, Budman, but I'm guessing you're going to try to wiggle out of it in order to rationalize living in sin and being no different than unsaved people.

The hypocrite is the person who really isn't what he says he is. Like an actor on a stage. I would be a hypocrite if I believed and lived out YOUR doctrine that claims there is no difference between the saved and the unsaved when it comes to sinning. YOU believe that, not me. That makes YOU the hypocrite, not me. YOU are the one who says you are no different than the unbeliever. YOU are the hypocrite.

You have falsely Judged almost everyone on this thread, you have such a PHOBIA about this SO-Called "New Hyper Grace", that almost NONE are here in the Bible Belt of the USA, that you are now seeing spooks every where. Almost every one on this thread, is of the SAME UNDERSTANDING AS I HAVE. And just so you know, GRACE is a FREE GIFT given to US while we were enemies of GOD.

Romans 5:8-10 (ESV)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.

That WHole group (fran, ISIT, PeterJens, and a few others (I can nto remember their names) had this same issue.. They were sin at war with what they deemed hypergrace. They could not hear a word anyone was saying.

Evening LLH,

Not sure I can say they I have seen as anyone on here say that sin is not a problem, nor spend time not repenting and confessing.

People are aware of impurity entering their lives and the impurity in their lives.
I would say that impurity does not enter our lives, it's already there.
That's why people declare or acknowledge that they do sin.

They are not saying it's ok to sin. Those who do acknowledge they do sin I am sure and at the very least they would bring it before God.

The 'Super spiritual types sin is not a problem as you put it.

The super spiritual types' are those who actually acknowledge they sin.
As a person grows and matures in Jesus they become more sensitive to their sin.

To acknowledge one sins is an understanding of holiness.
The holiness of God for which one falls short off.

So when Paul says live a Holy life one needs to know what holiness is and the standard set.
Gods holiness, that's the standard.

1 Peter 1:13-16
Living Before God Our Father
13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

We rest upon the grace given to us as a result of Jesus, which leads to obedience.

The issue is not declaring ones sin, the issue is declaring that they do not sin.
Furthermore the issue is also when people who say they do sin, they say not willfully, out of disobedience but ignorance, not knowing they sin

Sin in sin, whether willfully, disobedience or ignorance, or not knowing they have sinned.

That just excuses sin as much as the super spiritual types' you describe above.

No man has an excuse for sin.

That's why Jesus died for our sins.

To acknowledge one sins but then then say theydo not know they have sinned because it was not wilfull are just as guilty
As the super spiritual types as you framed above.

To acknowledge sin is to know one sins, to say that you don't sin knowingly can lead to what you say "why spend time repenting or confessing"

Each day and every day we should come before God, acknowledge what we got wrong, then ask him "What did I get wrong that I'm not aware off"

Then we repent, confess and ask him to help us grow.

That's seeking after his holiness.
Greetings Bill,

I share a perspective. If people agree Amen, if not that is always their choice.
What I do know is put simply, some want to win a battle of individuals, when we
are sharing about Gods word and will.

What I love is just to get alongside His will and follow Jesus.
And for those who want to say this means saying there are no struggles, is just
not listening to God. It is about change, about putting to death the things of this
world and walking in the things of heaven.

It costs everything, but we gain everything.

Grace and peace to you in Christ Jesus, Amen.

I am for grace, grace that brought Christ to earth, and took Him to the cross that we might become
heaven on earth, a testimony of the King living in His people.

Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God.
1 Peter 2:16

We are called to live in love as free men.
How is it people are so bound and self condemning they claim they sin daily?

So I repeat, what sins are people feeling they are committing daily?
Sin is a big thing, is the reason for judgement and the lake of fire, the bringing of the law
to show the lawless where they were failing.

Now those who claim their King is the Lord Jesus, the giver of the Law and the Holy Spirit
so that that law is written on their hearts, is it to difficult to ask this question?

Jesus list was simple.
You know the commandments: 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, do not defraud, honor your father and mother.'
Mark 10:19

So daily one is doing one of these 6 commandments. I have to be honest, not even
close. Sharing love, encouraging others, working for the Lord, yes.

So I simply do not understand this torrent of sinful behaviour that overwhelmes people
to the extent they should be sent to hell daily.

Now dread, feelings of failure, depression. poor self worth these are things very common
but this is not sinful, this is a lack of applying the faith and love we have in Christ. I am
sorry if that sounds flippant, but this is the life of working in Jesus and knowing one is loved,
not superficially but deep in our souls. Life is not a trick or a game, it is knowing Jesus and
Him filling our lives more day after day.

This is why Paul wrote this

You are witnesses, and so is God, of how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed.
1 Thessalonians 2:10

Paul was not saying this is exceptional, rather this is what we are given as our
birth right, but it takes real reaching out and bonding with people, at a deep level.

So very often we stand totally alone, only Jesus knowing our true reality. This is
not what God called us to be, but a people of one heart and mind giving glory to
the King. Amen.

The power of praise.

I remember seeing the face of children, when they know they have done something good,
and they want recognition and praise, not because they have earnt it, but because it helps
them understand the world and what is a good thing to do and what is not.

Many have spent their whole lives being knocked down and exploited. The idea that anyone
would find anything valuable in them, passes them by, yet Jesus does and as His ambassadors
so do we. Everyday talented beautiful people take their lives because no one can get alongside
them and just value their contribution and communicate this love. In some communities no one
loves it is just worldly passion, and people are dying.

So it is no surprise that the church sometimes reflects this same culture, and knocking people down
is more important than building up and seeing the good in every situation. That is how Jesus sees us,
seeing beyond the anger and frustration to the hurt defended alone individuals within.

He is a great Lord, to love us before we knew what love was, and to call us, when we were lost and
without hope, and to start to build life in our sinful, impure lives with His glorious words and the
anointing of the Holy Spirit. Yes it can get confusing, but His light is always so strong, it can pull
us through the chaos, and build in us true eternal realities and life.

New International Version 1984 Philippians 2:1-11 Imitating Christ’s Humility If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

New International Version 1984 John 3:19-21 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”[/B]

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

also, keep in mind that they think / thought that they do not sin, thus giving them a fake moral high ground to shout down to us dirty sinners.

just read lightlovehope's posts on this page alone. a bunch of self-righteousness dribble. bragging on himself.

It is not an excuse to live a lifestyle of sin
And yet if the believer does live in a lifestyle of sin you will say they are still saved. That's saying grace is a license to sin.

You people are flat out saying you can live in sin and it doesn't matter to salvation.

Just because you don't realize you're making grace a license to sin doesn't mean you're not.

Except unbelief. God's grace will not cover you going back to unbelief.
Take it up with JESUS....If we believe not HE ABIDES FAITHFUL BECAUSE HE CANNOT DENY HIMSELF....

and YES grace does cover unbelief...

Peter denying the LORD in fear and doubt

A person that is saved will not live in a lifestyle of sin even though they may have an occasional stumble. When that happens they say they are sorry to God who is merciful and will forgive them. The stumble does not negate their salvation, there is certainly no license to sin. God has indeed said that He will neither leave us or forsake us.
