There you go. This is what I think of anyone who thinks the earth is flat. You are imperfect duplicates of human beings who actually have a brain.

I have a challenge for us Christian's.
Since we believe the Bible to be the infallible word of God. Let us then use the Bible to support our belief, not men's theories or our own opinion.
So my challenge is use only the Bible to show that the earth is a spinning ball.
I will give you a few to start you off:
NASA says that space is filled with gas. Bible says water Gen 1:6,7
NASA says earth's atmosphere is next to a vacuum Bible says there is a firmament Job 37:18 molten looking glass
Eze 1:22 terrible crystal
NASA says the sun is 93 million miles away Bible says the sun is inside the firmament Gen 1:14
NASA says that the sun is a star Bible says God made two great lights (sun & moon) he made the
stars also Gen 1:14

Please prove, using only the Bible, that you exist. Once we know you exist, we will know that following your directions may have some value to you.

The Holy Bible is a book of many words, therefore it has many pages.
By your statement I can only know the truth if I work in a particular field? I thought truth to be found only in the word of God. The Bible tells us in Rev 12:9 that Satan deceiveth the whole world. You say that's nearly impossible, so rational thinking would lead you to disbelieve the Bible. This idea came out of the French Revolution with the goddess of reasoning. You also say that you have tons of evidence to prove the Earth is round, and God has allowed you to attain that knowledge. The Bible tells me that God is no respecter of persons: Acts 10:34 meaning that truth is not just for a privileged few but for anyone and everyone that seeks for it. This evidence that you have should be found in the Word of God. Please share all the Bible text you have to prove the world is a spinning ball.
I'm not sure if you were addressing me (Reply with Quote is helpful!), but by my statement I was addressing the logical flaw in your position. The Bible does not purport to be an exhaustive tome on all subjects. However, what it does address, it does so truthfully. Our interpretation of Scripture may be flawed though, resulting in assertions of "truth" that are not true.

what's the ancient Hebrew word for 'super-heated plasma' or 'nebula' or 'quark-gluon soup' ?
in Job it's also written He 'hangs the earth on nothing' -- vacuum.
Job 37:18 refers to spreading out the sky "like a molten mirror" -- molten means 'flowing' and a looking glass is an archaic term for mirror. at the time Job was written, there wasn't glass. a 'mirror' would have been polished brass, which is why some translations translate this word as 'brass.' IMO he's describing, quite beautifully, sunrise & sunset, comparing it with the appearance of casting glowing hot bronze or brass in a dish.
Ezekiel 1:22 is describing vision of the four living creatures, not the earth & sky.
Genesis 1 calls the 'firmament' or 'vault' or 'expanse' a division, v.6-7, which the flat folks cite as the glass wall of their fishtank, and then calls it heaven, v. 8, and from then on refers to 'vault of the heaven' as the location of the stars and moon, and also the place where birds fly.
do you think it is referring to the wall of a cage, or the space outside the wall, or the space within, or to both, or all three?
or atmosphere, the edge of it, and what's beyond?
in vv.14-16 He makes "lights" and specifically "two great lights" -- the sun is not described as being fundamentally different than the other 'lights' apart from its greatness ((in terms of apparent luminosity)) and its purpose.
in Job He says He made the Leviathan. in Genesis He says He made all the living creatures. does describing a particular creature with a particular term contradict the description of many creatures with a general term?
seems like you got a particular hang-up, dude.
"NASA" doesn't dictate any of this stuff. there are and have been a whole lot of people on earth who look through telescopes and study what we see when we look up. NASA is just one of many agencies around the world whose function is to build things that go up and have a closer look - everything you attributed to them here was conceived before "NASA" ever existed. Galileo didn't 'work for NASA' for example, lol.
