Yea sorry Jackson it does not. Where in God's Word does it say Jesus is a Sabbath?

................

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.
where is their a single clear straightforward verse in the N.T. that says keep the Sabbath? not one.

I have answered this many times. your posts , plucking and conjoining verses from different books, and writing your own commentary, have nothing to do with what John said, who actually mirrored what Jesus said- believe in me, and a New Command I give you- love one another as I have loved you.

All through God's Word but you chose to close your eyes in order to follow your traditions that break God's Commandments. Sin will keep all who practice it out of God's KINGDOM.

It is written...

Well spake the Holy Spirit through Isaiah the prophet unto your fathers, saying, Go thou unto this people, and say, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest, haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.

Let not a closed mind and heart come to you my friends as it did to the people in the days of Jesus and the fathers before them through the prophets.

Sorry Jackson; Yep you are mixed up. It is a GREEK Word used here........

Matthew 11
28
, Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

STRONGS
Meaning REST
; G373 ἀναπαύω anapauo (a-na-pav'-ō) v.
1. (reflexively) to repose, to rest. 2. (literally or figuratively) to be exempt, to remain. 3. (by implication) to refresh.
[from G303 and G3973] KJV: take ease, refresh, (give, take) rest Root(s): G303, G3973

So nope rest here does not mean Sabbath

Where in God's Word does it say Jesus is a Sabbath?

Time to leave Sunday school my friend and follow Jesus in Spirit and in truth.

And this my friend is exactly what you are missing = LOVE.
There are no longer any commandments ''thou shalt ! we do things in a loving relationship that needs no commanding....those days are gone !
You ''talk'' about love but don't practice it...''obey the Lord out of Love and you will be on your way !

Jesus Himself invite to give a rest for who that Will come to Him. Every day rest in mind, It may appear to work, but his mind is rest

It's the same old song and dance with these misguided, modern day teachers of the law who teach that salvation is by "grace plus law, faith plus works" and pervert the Gospel.

yes, I do. I believe in and trust Him for salvation. I do not use Him to point to Sabbath. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I do not need a day. I have a resurrected Savior.

JESUS IS our living walking EXAMPLE and HE kept the Sabbath holy....for separate use than the other days....is that not so ?
The Sabbath is part of the commandments to LOVE God and neighbour !
Don't lets argue...just leave it there if you believe different.

Amen brother! Colossians 2:16 - Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day — 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. :)

all these posts are just you plucking verses out of context and conjoining them, with your own personal commentary mixed in. they are NOT valid Biblical teaching. real Biblical teaching accepts context, chronological order, and fact acceptance.

I will read the Bible this correct way, not the plucking and conjoining way.

1st John is a letter. reading it from front to back is context. and, it mirrors what John recorded in HiS Gospel. Jesus said believe in Me, and a new command I give love one another as I have loved you. did not say " and keep the Sabbath ". so there you go.
