I've been reading some of the psalms this week, and I came across this one that's been on my mind most of the week. I can really empathize with David, because I feel the exact same way as him right now. Many of these verses resonate with me... my soul being afflicted and persecuted, my life being crushed to the ground, being left to dwell in darkness, my Spirit being overwhelmed and my heart distressed.

I feel truly broken... damaged beyond repair. The flesh side of me just gives up on people, yet I know this is a spiritual battle we're dealing with and not against flesh and blood.

Would appreciate some prayers. I'm losing faith, and it's truly a miracle that I even read scripture this week and that I'm even posting on this site.

Psalm 143

Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Give ear to my supplications!
In Your faithfulness answer me,
And in Your righteousness.
Do not enter into judgment with Your servant,
For in Your sight no one living is righteous.

For the enemy has persecuted my soul;
He has crushed my life to the ground;
He has made me dwell in darkness,
Like those who have long been dead.
Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me;
My heart within me is distressed.

I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all Your works;
I muse on the work of Your hands.
I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah

Answer me speedily, O Lord;
My spirit fails!
Do not hide Your face from me,
Lest I be like those who go down into the pit.
Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You.

Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies;
In You I take shelter.
Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness.

Revive me, O Lord, for Your name’s sake!
For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.
In Your mercy cut off my enemies,
And destroy all those who afflict my soul;
For I am Your servant.

Psa 61:1 To the chief Musician upon Neginah, A Psalm of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

Psa 61:2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Psa 61:3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

He wont let go Katy...

Father, I ask for Your love to flow now over Katy, and healing oil on every wound..

love and miss you here.

I pray for Jesus' overwhelming peace to surround you right now, sister. He's with you right there, right now even when it doesn't feel like it. Remember all the times He has never failed you. I pray for your comfort and that you see the Yeshua (salvation) of the Lord in this season of your life. He will never abandon you <3

Father in Heaven, we pray You will bless our sister Katy with strength, both in body and soul. Make Your presence known to her that she may be comforted, Lord. We are reminded that the darkest hour is just before dawn, when the sun suddenly pours out it's light and warmth upon us, filling us with the promise of a new day. A bright new day is our prayer for Katy, Father. Bless her, heal her and comfort her with Your loving kindness. We ask these things in the name of our loving Savior, who is Christ our Lord......AMEN.......Glory to God.

Oh precious daughter of the Father.
Know that he loves you deeply.
He knows what you are going through. We have a saviour who went through this.

Before he was crucified for us he asks "If possible let this cup pass me by"
On the cross he said "My God my God why have you forsaken me?

Psalms 43
PSALM 43
Prayer to God in Time of Trouble
1 Vindicate me, O God,
And plead my cause against an ungodly nation;
Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!
2 For You are the God of my strength;
Why do You cast me off?
Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3 Oh, send out Your light and Your truth!
Let them lead me;
Let them bring me to Your holy hill
And to Your tabernacle.
4 Then I will go to the altar of God,
To God my exceeding joy;
And on the harp I will praise You,
O God, my God.
5 Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God.

God truly understands what you are going through.
You may be ashamed but he is not ashamed of you.

Jeremiah 31:3-4
3 The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
4 Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt,
O virgin of Israel!
You shall again be adorned with your tambourines,
And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.

Isaiah 40:31
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Hebrews 13:5

5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Philippians 1:6
6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

John 17:23
23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

I'm gonna rephrase John.

Heavenly Father.

Thank you for our precious sister.
May she know that when Jesus prayed in John he was saying Father may Katy know they you love her as much as you love me.
May she know that you truly understand what she is going though. Yet you love her as much as you love me.

May she know that you will renew her strength.
That she will fly like an eagle, will run and not be weary, will walk and not be faint.
My she know that you will never leave her or forsake her.
May she know this because you have promised to complete the good work you started in her.
God you are not a liar.
You are the truth you are truth.
May Katy trust in this.
During this time of trial, may she know it's you who keep her.
Holy Spirit envelope her, be like a whirlwind around her.

We love our sister and we lift her up to you.

Jesus we ask this in your name.

Thanks so much everyone for all the prayers, kind words and scriptures you shared. Very encouraging, especially since I haven't been reading much of the word lately, so it's been a nice reminder of key scriptures. I think it's a Psalms week for me, especially those by King David :)

Just wanted to let you know that God did hear your prayers because today I woke up in peace, and actually had a great day. And also had no triggers today either.

Bill - that scripture you shared applied to me. I felt so much stronger today... a God given strength, exactly as mentioned in Isaiah. It's amazing when the scriptures come alive like that.

Hugs everyone :)
