Nobody denies that the Holy Spirit of God will lead us into good works.

What is contested is whether those works are necessary for salvation.

You seem to agree that they are not :)

Since the Bible does say I am holy and righteous after being born again and through Jesus Christ, I guess I am bag of spiritual chips.

Now am I lays, Frito's or Doritos?

OK,but what I am getting at here is that I am seeing in the broadbrushing that it seems there is no such thing as a victorious on fire believer walking in holiness,vs a shipwrecked believer walking in sin and condemnation.

Just look a the opposition to the verses that describe those that have departed.
Look at what it takes in this thread to get basic bible concepts acknowledged.

Any such notion brings attacking. It is vicious in here. Why is that???? and get this,,,,it is the "grace" folks

Cannot be grace folks, if they knew what grace really was they would be walking in victory, not petting a condition that Christ eradicated through his shed blood.

Nobody is saved by their works, not one person.

Are you talking about the guy with the Marine picture? If so, then I do not think he is struggling with what you think he is. I read some of his other posts on other threads and it seems he understands walking in newness of life. I think he is just defending this thread. No man is saved by any works he does, man is saved solely by grace and faith through Jesus Christ and what he did. A truly saved man will not return to his old way of life or be trapped in his old life. If he stays in his old life, then he was never really saved.

I have seen believers fall and fail. They did know God,and I even want to assume he follows them in their backslidden condition.

It makes a difference when we love them and are aware of our own fickleness "there go I,but for the grace of God"

AND you think saying none have answered when they have is honest and not toxic....best thing to do is not address me....I do not mind dialogue and even a little heat, but when one cannot be honest about what is being said....it fires me to the core....and do not for one second assume bitterness for passion and an emphatic stance on the truth....simple solution...
