Your busted yet again as false....hit the blue pal...it will take you to my source which is based upon Strong's.......and your wonderful accusations continue to prove who really leads you.....WOW!
If your source is based on Strong's, but mine is right from Strong's, but your source says something different than what I cited then that means your source dropped the ball somewhere along the line. Think about it.

Let's cut to the chase. Remind us what your point was exactly about this passage.

"The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more"

"What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?"

Romans 5:20, Romans 6:1

If you leave out any suggestion that the grace of God abounding all the more over the condemnation of the law means grace is a license to increase in sin and grace will cover it then we're good.

So,his nect task is to assure us his sins are something minor?
He left it 100% open ended, and anyones option to fill in the blank.

Or are minor sins different than some sexual deviancy or ripping off senior citizens?
There is one of the many problems with workers for, sinless perfectionists and law keepers....they compartmentalize sin into neat little boxes...sin is sin and to break the least of the commandments makes one guilty of the whole....guess what...you and I are just as guilty as a murderer or adulterer....and NONE have kept the law and ALL are guilty of sin.....exactly why the RIGHTEOUSNESS of Christ ahs been IMPUTED by FAITH to all who have believed the correct message of salvation......

it seems to be what most who push a false doctrine do accuse in order to demonize....

it wouldnt matter how much you explain living by faith
or walking in the spirit

those who feel like their own righteousness will justify themself wont accept anything less than "you are saved by your works" (which is a lie)
What exactly are you saying i believe?
You assume i believe i will loose my salvation if i sin?
You have accused me unjustly if that is the case.
You guys, almost all of you,do not know what i believe.
Your default mode is attack.

That position is fear oriented

When will people truly understanding the power of God's grace and mercy through His free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ? Oh I know there are many of us who do. Yet, works, works, works still is blatantly used.

There is no person on God's green earth who can buy their salvation, keep their salvation, live without sin 24/7, through works.

Praise God from who all blessings flow. May He continue to grant us mercy and compassion and cover us with His Love.
Yep, all of us agree about this.

The argument is, the person who does not have a changed life growing up into works of righteousness is not born again and will not inherit the kingdom. That makes works required to be saved when Jesus comes back. That's not a works gospel. That is not works earning salvation.

The person who really does have God's mercy and compassion in salvation has the changed/changing life to show for it. If they don't they will not be saved when Jesus comes back. Their lives testify that they do not know Christ in salvation.

Now your just lying and embellishing what he said and or adding to what he said.....man you and your buddies sure lie a lot for claiming to be saved
Greetinge dcontroversal,

I hope you can help me. You seem to be talking about having security in Jesus, and
seem to express other believers do not have this security.

Could you explain personally how you know you have this security while other believers
do not have it?

My security in Christ is founded on who Jesus is to my heart. I have never found anything
false or flawed in my Lord and His dealings. I listen to His word, and how it has worked out in my
life to His glory, not of my doing but the Holy Spirit at work within me.

So I was wondering, if as a brother in Christ, you could encourage me with your insights and life?

I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong--
that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith.

So what shall we do about willful habitual sin?

What does the H S think about christians that are bogged down.

By framing EVERYTING in osas, including striving for holiness( which i find bizarre) not only are you apparently justifying carnality, how do you ever hope to MINISTER TO a brother trapped in porn or adultery,or drug addiction??????

You're being unreasonable. Your source does not agree with Strong's. Is Strong's wrong, or is your source wrong? I know you'll want to say Strong's is wrong, of course, but you said your source is from Strong's.

I clicked on the link but it does not connect to any specific word in any passage of scripture. How is this proof of the tense of the verb in Romans 6:1?

What ecactly are you saying i believe?
im not SAYING you believe anything

You assume i believe i will loose my salvation if i sin?
You have accused me unjustly if that is the case
.
rest assured, i made no such accusation
You guys, almost all of you,do not know what i believe.
i dont know if this is directed at me.. but you quoted me

fear of what?
i have no fear of you if thats what you imply with this statement
take a deep breath man

if you are offended by what i said

i am sorry

my goal isnt to attack or hurt anyones feelings

if maybe you could clairfy your stance on the eternal security of someone who is made new
and born of God

with an incorruptible seed
that might help clear things up

this thread is made to glorify Jesus

its a tribute to His sacrifice and the gift of salvation

we dont need to argue

So anyone with a sin stronghold is just " safe"

We never try to help him because that would be works.

Kinda bizarre.
Maybe get out of doctrine long enough to help him?
But please do re invent the remedy.
Pssst....the devil is eating his ever loving lunch while you guys assure him " hey,we all sin"

My security in my salvation does not lay in any works I may do. As a matter of fact, as a lowly servant of God, can and probably will not ever do enough to serve God Almighty.

My salvation is my hope. Hope in seeing heaven one day and being in the presence of God the Creator. My little mind cannot comprehend such a thing. What have I ever done to merit such an occasion? Absolutely nothing.

It's not the "outward" appearance God looks at but it is the "heart/soul" of a person He searches. Praise God for that.

People who love God will seek to do all they can to further the Good News and to help their neighbor (anyone in need) and to seek to become closer to Him every single day. Their minds are not focused on works but on "service" (be sure to contemplate on this) with a pure motive and not on "how many works can I accomplish today in order to gain favor with the Lord."

Grow up and put some pants on....you regularly insult people by lying about what they say, embellishing what they say or accusing of being lost....man...you are really taking the cake for hypocrisy....

I posted several verses. Show me what your objection is to them....that believers fall away.

Also show me how to minister to a brother caught up in habitual sin.

Sin, sin, sin. We are all capable of it, we all do it, we all don't want to do it - just like Paul said. "The things I want to do I don't. The things I don't want to do I do." Paraphrasing.

Who has the authority, other than our Lord and Savior, to hold up a mirror to another's face and say "oh you believe you have a license to sin." That person needs to see what that mirror reveals about their own heart.
