the o.p refuses to give straight answers to simple questions, making this theology more invalid, as real Bible theology can stand up to questions.
Hello gb9,

Well that statement has no truth in it at all. What questions have you asked that have not been answered with the Word of God that disagrees with your interpretation of it and what posts have you replied to with God's Word that disagree with your interpretation of the scriptures?

Simply saying statements that have no truth in them or you disagree with something while ignoring the posts and the scriptures that disagree with you does not place your words over God's Word. Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it.

You teach against God's LAW and the prophets this is something Jesus and the apostles never did. Those who break the Commandments of God and teach others to do so Jesus says are least in God's Kingdom because they will not enter it.

here is real theology- after the council in Acts 15 declared the gentiles did not have to keep the law to be saved,
Who has told you that you have to keep the LAW to be saved? We are ONLY saved by GRACE through FAITH and NOT of OURSEVES it is a GIFT of GOD and not of WORKS lest any man should BOAST (Ephe 2:8)

However, if your FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE to God's LAW (10 Commandments) you are still in your SINS because you have rejected the GIFT of God's dear son (James 2:18; 20; 26; Hebrews 10:26-27) If you have NO FRUIT your tree will be cast down and thrown into the FIRE (Matthew 7:12-23).

So your real theology as you put it from Acts 15 is that everyone is NOW free to break God's 10 Commandments. Isn't this theology, the same theology that Jesus warns us about in........

Matthew 5:19
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Ok let's look at Acts 15 again......

Acts 15 is in reference to having to be CIRCUMCISED in order to have salvation and that this was not a requirement for salvation. This is what the OP is referring to here. The ceremonial laws of Moses were shadows pointing to Jesus and the plan of salvation.

God's LAW (10 commandments) are the knowledge of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS and define what good and evil is. God's LAW is the standard of the Old Covenant the NEW Covenant and the Judgement to come and is forever.

This was posted already but do not mind re-posting again if you missed it. Let's look at the whole section in CONTEXT with all the scriptures...

Acts 15
1, And certain men which came down from Judea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved <The controversy is that if you are not circumcised after the law of Moses you cannot be saved>.
2, When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
3, And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.
4, And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.
5, But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
6, And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.
7, And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
8, And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
9, And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
10, Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
19, Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: <New converts do not need to be circumcised after the law of Moses>
20, But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
21, For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day <the new converts will learn more because the scriptures are read in the synagogues every Sabbath>.
22, Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
23, And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia:
24, Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: <what law are we referring to? The law of Moses; circumcision>

As mentioned above already the Mosaic laws (not God's Law; 10 commandments) that were the cure for sin in the Old Covenant pointing to Jesus have been done away. They were shadows that pointed to Jesus and were fulfilled at the cross. For example with circumcision...........................

Romans 2
28,
F or he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29, But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Now let’s look at the interpretation of Acts 15 where you state; because Gods Sabbath is not mentioned you do not need to keep it...

Now we have shown above already that the CONTEXT of Acts 15 is referring to CIRCUMCISSION as a REQUIREMENT for SALVATION. Circumcision is a requirement under the law of Moses. In fact God’s LAW is not mentioned except for Idolatry as a requirement for the new Gentile converts. WHY? Because Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day v21

This chapter has nothing to do with Gentiles not obeying God’s LAW (10 commandments) it is about CIRCUMCSION in the Mosaic law being a REQUIREMENT for SALVATION v1-5

You state the above because none of God's Law (10 commandments) are mentioned that the Gentiles do not need to follow them.

So gb9, if you follow this view through to its logical conclusion, Gentile believers can go kill, steal, covet murder and break all of God’s commandments as long as they abstain from things contaminated by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled and from blood v20.

I am sure you do not believe this, do you gb0? God’s WORD certainly does not teach this as it says those who are living a life of KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will not enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN because those who are practicing SIN have rejected the GIFT of God’s dear son (Hebrews 10:26-27).

Acts 15 says nothing about not needing to obey God's 10 commandments but that circumcision was not a requirement for salvation (CONTEXT) and that Torah was taght in the Synagoges EVERY SABBATH where the new believers would learn more about God's Word.

NOW please if you do not BELIEVE what is posted here state your case why you do not BELEIVE what is presented in this post. If you canoot should you know BELIEVE God's Word?

in Acts 16, when the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas " what must I do to be saved, " they answered " believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved". they did not include Sabbath keeping in their answer.
ABSOLUTELY we must BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved. But what does it mean to BELIEVE on the LORD Jesus?

The Gospel is JESUS <Jesus means Savior; John 1:29> and JESUS is THE WORD OF GOD (John 1:1-14; 17:17; 14:6). THE WORD OF GOD is the GOSPEL BECAUSE BY FAITH IT IS OUR SAVIOR and this the IS GOOD NEWS to those who BELIEVE. (John 1:1-14; John 1:29; John 17:17; 14:6; Matthew 4:4)

We are to LIVE by EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD (Matthew 4:4);

IF we CONTINUE IN HIS WORD THEN ARE WE HIS DISCIPLES and we shall KNOW the TRUTH and the TRUTH shall set us FREE from SIN (John 8:31-32; 34;36).

IF however we CONTINUE in SIN we will be LOST and our tree cast down and thrown into the FIRE (Matthew 7:12-23)

.............

DISAGREE with any of the above? Please make your case and share your scriptures? If you cannot you should BELIEVE and FOLLOW the Word of God. Those who break God's Commandments and teach against God's LAW and the prophets will not enter the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

..............

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men everywhere to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

Hello Roadkill, just a few comments for your consideration below...

Matthew 12:7 But to Judge others because they worship on a different day than you is wrong.
There is a difference between judging according to appearance and judging righteous judgement (John 7:24) There is none righteous or good but God (Romans 3:10; Matthew 19:17) So RIGHTEOUS judgement according to God's Word is agreeing with God's WORD.

It has never been about worshiping God on this day or that day. We shuold worship God everyday. However God's 4th Commandments says that God has made the 7th Day a HOLY day and NO WORK is to be done on this day. It is a memorial of creation and an appointed day of rest for God's people (Exodus 20:8-11)

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12).

If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27).

Following and BELIEVING God's Word is RIGHTEOUS Judgement because it is God's Word that we are to BELIEVE and FOLLOW. If we do not BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's WORD then we are UNBELIVERS and UNBELIEVERS have no part in God's KINGDOM.

This is not your place to do. God sees the reasons a person does what they do and judges their hearts.
In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30-31). PRACTICING KNOWN SIN will keep all those who practicide it OUT of God's KINGDOM. All who take the name of the Lord Jesus Christ have a duty of LOVE to GOD and Man to preach the Gospel to help all prepare for the 2nd Coming.

Ezekiel 3
17,
Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18, When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19, Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
20, Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
21, Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

We don't know everyone's circumstances in regard to the day they can worship God, God sees and judges the intentions of the heart. To have compassion and mercy on others that can't uphold the law is more important to God than any Religious act or Sacrifice. To do otherwise puts you into the class of the Pharisees as far as Jesus Taught
SIN will keep all who practice it out of God's KINGDOM. God can change CIRCUMSTANCES for those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW HIS WORD he only asks us to seek forst for HIS KINGDOM and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and will add all things unto us.
SIN will indeed keep all those who KNOWINGLY practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM. God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12).

Romans 2
12,
For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

And consider what Jesus did on the Sabbath. He did good which was contrary to the law of the Pharisees which stated you couldn't. Do you dare Judge the Lord of the Sabbath? The Pharisees did. They said that the Co-Creator of Mankind wasn't HUMAN enough to be worthy of life because he didn't follow all of their rules. Matthew 11:25
ABSOLUTELY! This is a great point. It is indeed lawful to do GOOD on the Sabbath but it is unlawful to break God's 4th Commandment.

Amen! The Gospel is the "good news" of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16).
And yet we see Jesus preaching the Gospel before his death, burial and resurrection not to metion God's people in the OLD testament before Jesus was even born as they left the land of Egypt (Matt 4:23; 9:35; 11:5; 24:24; 26:13; Mark 1:1; Hebrews 4:2)?

How can you be a teacher of the Word of God and preach the Gospel when you do not know what the Gospel is?

The Gospel is JESUS <Jesus means Savior; John 1:29> and JESUS is THE WORD OF GOD (John 1:1-14; 17:17; 14:6). THE WORD OF GOD is the GOSPEL BECAUSE BY FAITH IT IS OUR SAVIOR and this the IS GOOD NEWS to those who BELIEVE. (John 1:1-14; John 1:29; John 17:17; 14:6; Matthew 4:4)

We are indeed told Gen 2:2-3
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
KJV

BUT, WE ARE NOT TOLD that God commanded anyone to rest on the seventh day until Exodus 16.
You my friend make an assumption here that God's people did not KEEP God's 4th commandment BEFORE God's people left the land of Egypt.

Yet we see God's people KEEPING God's 4th Commandment BEFORE the 10 Commandments were given at Mt Sinai.

If there was no commandment given for them to KEEP God's 4th Commandment before Exodus 16 why are they now keeping God's 4th Commandment?

Your argument only argues against the logic you try to use here to try and say that God's 10 Commandments did not exist before they were given againt Mt Sinai despite God's people keeping God's 4th Commandment before in your view any Commandments were given.

Yet we read in the scriptures both God's Commandment and the laws for remission of SIN where indeed practiced BEFORE Exodus 16-20........

Genesis 26
5,
Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Genesis 5
24, And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Genesis 6
8, But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. 9, These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

God destroys mankind because of sin......

Genesis 6
5, And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only EVIL CONTINUALLY.
6, And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7, And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8, But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

What are these CONTINUAL EVIL THOUGHTS?

Matthew 15
19, For out of the heart proceed EVIL THOUGHTS, MURDERS, ADULTERIES, FORNICATION, THEFTS, FALSE WITNESS, BLASPHEMIES
20, These are the things which defile a man:

Evil is breaking God's Commandments in thought and actions.

Cain was punished by God for Murder......

Genesis 4
8,
And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
9, And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
10, And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
11, And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;
12, When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
13, And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

links to....

1 John 3
12, Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13, Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14, We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15, Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

The Mosaic laws for remission of sin (SACRIFICIAL SIN OFFERINGS) were also practiced BEFORE Sinai....

Genesis 4
4,
And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering.
Genesis 8
20,
And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar

SIN is the transgression of God's LAW (10 Commandments) please read Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4 and James 2:11. God's LAW gives us a KNOWLEDGE of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS (Romans 3:20) SIN offereings were only practiced in the OLD Covenant for the remission or forgiveness of SIN (Breaking God's 10 Commandments) If God's people did not have God's LAW why are they offering SIN offereings to God if these laws were only known about in Mt Sinai?

Abraham and his son practiced and knew about sin offerings...

Genesis 22
7,
And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8,
And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

Exodus 10
25,
And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.

Yep once again before Sinai...

The Sabbath was also kept by our first parents and also others BEFORE Sinai. The reason God gave the 10 Commandments again was being His people had been slaves in Egypt for 430 years (Exodus 12:40). God delivered his people from Egypt (the World) and needed to re-teach them his ways which were mostly forgotten by this time.

So yep God's LAW and the laws for remission of sin and burnt offerings of the OLD Covenant were indeed practiced BEFORE Sinai.

My friend now let's look at God's Word to see when the Sabbath was made and who it was given to shall we..........

Genesis 2
1,
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2,
And ON THE SEVENTH DAY God ended his work which he had made; and he RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY from all his work which he had made.
3,
And GOD BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY, and made it HOLY <the 7th day>: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

RESTED H7673שָׁבַת shabath
(
shaw-ɓath') v.to repose, i.e. to cease from exertion.
{used in many implied relations (causative, figurative or specific)}[a primitive root]KJV: (cause to, let, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep Sabbath, suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away. Some points to note from the scriptures...............

v1
God completed creation in 6 days and RESTED on the 7TH DAY
v2
God RESTED on the 7TH DAY
v3
God SET APART the 7TH DAY and made THE 7TH DAY a HOLY DAY
v2
The 7TH DAY is part of the FINISHED WORK of the CREATION WEEKLet's now look at God's 4th commandment............

Exodus 20
8
, Remember the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why?> Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day)
9, Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10,
But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY>
11,
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested theSEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH, and HALLOWED IT.

SABBATH H7676 שַׁבָּת shabbath
(
shab-bawth') n-e. 1. intermission, a period of temporary rest.2. (specifically) the Sabbath, the seventh day being the day of rest.[intensive from H7673]KJV: (+ every) Sabbath. Root(s): H7673Now who did God make the 7th day a Holy day for? Is he making that day a Holy day for himself? Of course NOT God is already Holy. He has made the day for MANKIND as a HOLY DAY.Let’s see what Jesus says…………

Mark 2
27
, And he said unto them, THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN, and not man for the Sabbath.
The Sabbath was made for WHO? The Sabbath was made for MAN. So here we have the God of creation telling us why the 7th Day was made a Holy day. It was made for MANKIND

STRONGS Greek MAN G444 ἄνθρωποςanthropos (
an'-thrō-pos) n.
1. (literally) man†-visage (i.e. a man-faced being, a man who has visibly come of age).
2. (concretely, in Hebrew) a clay being (a classification of beings made in the image of God, who made them male and female). 3. (generically, in English) a human being. 4. (indefinitely) a certain man (i.e. someone).
[from G435 and ops “the countenance” (from G3700)] KJV: certain, man Root(s): G435, G3700

So the Sabbath was made for Human beings; clay beings (we are made out of the dust); male and female

So God made the 7th day of the week a HOLY day and blessed it for MAN this now ties in very nicely with the 4th commandment (Exodus 20:8-11) God says that it is a specific day which is the 7TH DAY OF THE WEEK that he has made to be a HOLY DAY.

Jesus says it was made Holy in the creation week for mankind. All scriptures connect and are in harmony. Genesis where God made the Day a HOLY DAY;

God’s 4th commandment to His people that says to REMEMBER the Sabbath day to KEEP it a HOLY DAY and Jesus stating that the Sabbath was made for MANKIND (Human beings; male and female).

Now if God made the Sabbath for mankind then obviously Adam and Eve had the Sabbath the GREEK Word for MAN G444 ἄνθρωποςanthropos (an'-thrō-pos) n. is a clay being(a classification of beings made in the image of God, who made them male and female). There is only two people made out of clay (dust) and that is Adam and Eve.

Yep God's Sabbath given to mankind in the Garden of Eden and made in the Creation WEEK. Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE it. Those that do not BELIEVE God's Word are UNBELIVERS and UNBELIEVERS have no part in God's Kingdom.

Now I have taken some time to address all of your posts. Please if you disagree please state your case and your scriptures? Simply ignoring my posts does not make the scriptures go away that disagree with you.

In fact when sabbath rest was commanded; it was commanded specifically of Israel in commemoration of their servitude in Egypt.

Deut 5:12-15
12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee. <
13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
KJV
Commenting on your interpretation of God's Word. You quote Deuteronomy 5:12-15 from the book of the law of Moses and interpret it as you say in your own words

"In fact when sabbath rest was commanded; it was commanded specifically of Israel in commemoration of their servitude in Egypt."
Yet this is not when the Sabbath was given is it? The very first verse you quoted you ignore

v12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee.

Where did God Command his people to KEEP the Sabbath day and make it a HOLY DAY?

God's Sabbath was given at Sinai and spoken to God's people by God himself and says in Exodus 20 that it is given as a memorial of CREATION. You quote scripture that is still relevant but ignore other scripture that disagrees with your interpretation of the scriptures..

This is what was spoken by God on HOW TO KEEP GOD's Sabbath as a HOLY DAY.....

Exodus 20
8,
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9, Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10, But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Moses says KEEP GOD's SABBATH as GOD Commanded you v12 and at the end......

Deut 5
15
And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

Moses is reminding God's people that they were delivered through the power of the only true God of CREATION from the land of Egypt. The Sabbath was a sign that they worship the true God of CREATION (Exodus 31:13-17).

Moses told them in v12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee referring to Exodus 20:8-11.

God is leading his poeple out of spirtual Egypt today (the World) Revelations 11:8. We are wondering in the wilderness waiting for our Lord to lead us into God's promised land (Heaven). God's 4th Commandment was made at CREATION for MANKIND and given to Adam and Eve and passed down from generation to generation. God's people were slaves to Egypt (the World) and had forgotten all about God's LAWs. God delivered his people from the World and Commands them today to follow him through FAITH by LOVE which fulfills ALL the LAW and the prophets.

...............

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

look, down here in the u.s.a. south, we are taught to respect our elders. so, with apologizes , you are dead wrong about verses not being out of context. they are.
Hello my friend are you referring to the scriptures you used in Acts 15 that ignore context? Have you heard of topical bible study where you seek God's guidence and study the scriptures in relation to a topic of interest? It is called topical bible study.

CONTEXT is always important both within CHAPTER and WITHIN SCRIPTURE. Just as important is seeking God to be your teacher through the Holy Spirit as you study God's Word.

If you ignore any of the two you will not understand God's Word because spiritual things are spiritually discerned.

If you look to the teachings of men to follow man made traditions over the Word of God then you indeed do not follow God (Matthew 15:3-9). Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it. UNBELIEVERS will not enter into God's KINGDOM.

folks like ya'll cite 1st John for command keeping. then, in chapter 3, when John says the commands are believe in the name of the Son, and love one another, ya'll dismiss it, saying he can't possibly mean , well, what he clearly meant.
Now here is a good example where CONTEXT is NOT being used and something to be careful about.

You pull out a scripture in 1 John 3:23 that says; v23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
We must indeed BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved.

We are to LIVE by EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD (Matthew 4:4);

TO BELIEVE in the NAME ON THE NAME of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST means to BELIEVE and FOLLOW the WORD of GOD as your SAVIOR

Matthew 1
21
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS <the WORD>: ,<WHY?> for he shall save his people from their sins

EVERY WORD OF GOD WE ARE TO LIVE BY; THE WORD OF GOD through FAITH IS OUR SAVIOR!

You cannot separate God’s Law of love from the 10 commandments because they are connected to each other. There is no need for confusion here. God’s Word makes it very clear.

Let's have a look................................................

What does Jesus say when he talk about the commandments. Jesus is quoting from Old testament scriptures of Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18.................

Matthew 22
36, Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38, This is the first and great commandment.
39, And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
40, ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.

Let's get clearer......................................................

Matthew 19
16, And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17, And he said unto him, Why call thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: BUT IF YOU WILL ENTER INTO LIFE KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS.
18, He saith unto him, WHICH? JESUS SAID, THOU SHALT NOT MURDER, THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, THOU SHALT NOT STEAL, THOU SHALT NOT LIE, HONOR YOU MOTHER AND FATHER AND THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF
20, The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21, Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. <Jesus showed him that he may have fulfilled His duty of love to his neighbor but not to God breaking commandment 1 and 2 loving riches more than God>

Well Jesus makes it very clear that what he is talking about it is the 10 commandments of God's Law.

What about James................................................................

James 2
8, If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF, ye do well:
9, But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10, FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL KEEP THE WHOLE LAW AND YET OFFEND IN ONE POINT, HE SHALL BE GUILTY OF ALL.
11, FOR HE THAT SAID, DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY SAID ALSO DO NOT KILL. NOW IF YOU DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY AND YOU KILL, YOU HAVE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF GOD'S LAW.

12, So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

Well James makes it very clear what he is talking about when he talks about the Royal Law of love. He is talking about the 10 commandments. So Jesus and James both agree that they are talking about God's 10 commandments which also include the 4th commandment which is one of the ten.

What about Paul? He wrote a lot of books in God's Word...........................

Romans 13
8, Owe no man anything, but to LOVE ONE ANOTHER: for HE THAT LOVES ANOTHER HAS FULFILLED THE LAW.
9, For this, THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, THOU SHALT NOT KILL, THOU SHALT NOT STEAL, THOU SHALT NOT LIE, THOU SHALT NOT COVET; and IF THERE SHALL BE ANY OTHER COMMANDMENT, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF.
10, Love works no ill to his neighbor: therefore LOVE IS THE FULFILLING OF THE LAW.

Paul makes it very clear what he is talking about as well when he is talking about God's Law. It seems like Jesus, James and Paul all agree together what it is they are referring to when talking about God's Law. They are all referring to God's 10 commandments which includes the 4th commandment which is one of the ten (Exodus 20:1-17)

So now that God's Word shows us what it is referring to. No need to guess, what are talking about, God’s Law of Love is God's 10 commandments. It is only through Faith that works by love that anyone can walk in the Spirit which produces the fruit of obedience because love is the fulfilling of God’s Law in those that walk by faith and not by sight.

Now let's look at the CONTEXT of the scripture you quoted from 1 John 3:22. Lovely scripture by the way.

1 John 3:22
23,
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and LOVE ONE ANOTHER, as he gave us commandment.

Now as we have seen above God's LAW (10 commandments) through LOVE is the fulfillment of God's LAW who have FAITH. Now is that the same for this scripture here in John?

Let's look at the CONTEXT of 1 John 3:23...............

1 John 3
3, And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
4, Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5, And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6, Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins hath not seen him, neither known him.
7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8, He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9, Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10, In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.
11, For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12, Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13, Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14, We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not his brother abides in death.
15, Whosoever hates his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

So it looks like Jesus, James, Paul and John all agree together so it is unanimous that God's Law (10 commandments) are all tied to LOVE which is the power of God unto salvation through Faith. The FRUIT of FAITH is OBEDIENCE and the fulfilling of God's LAW in the hearts of those who walk by FAITH in the SPIRIT (Romans 8:1-4)

So my friend the FRUIT of FAITH is OBEDIENCE to God's LAW (10 commandments) If you have no FRUIT then you need to be aware that your tree will be CUT DOWN. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:26-27; 31)

How can you argue CONTEXT when it is clear you do not use it in your understanding of God's Word?

..............

DISAGREE? Please make your case and share your scriptures?
If you cannot you should BELIEVE and FOLLOW the Word of God. Those who break God's Commandments and teach against God's LAW and the prophets will not enter the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

Luke 16:16-17, "The Law and the Prophets were until John, since that time the Kingdom of YHWH is preached, and every man is pressed to enter it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

Matt 13:41-43, "The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear."

Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against YHWH, and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away, the saints of YHWH, and think to change times and Laws…"
Law of prophet until John, but SDA not cook oN sabbath after John
Who cares what Sda's do, not me.

Also I see you can quote verse 16 but what about verse 17?

Luke 16:16-17, "The Law and the Prophets were until John, since that time the Kingdom of YHWH is preached, and every man is pressed to enter it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

none are perfect but do we seek His will or not?

Yep Jackson you should listen to Shamah, you are disregarding and ignoring the scriptures.

Luke 16:16-17, "The Law and the Prophets were until John, since that time the Kingdom of Heaven is preached, and every man is pressed to enter it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the Law to fail."

Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it.

2. Verse 17 mean you have to kill sabbath violator?

Nothing has passed from the Law, but I am not the judge, the judge, Yahshua/Jesus will choose who goes unto eternal life and who gets burned up, sins unto death still deserve death.

James 1:12-18, “Blessed is the man who does endure trial, for when he has been proved, he shall receive the crown of life which the Master has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is enticed, “I am enticed by Yah,” for Yah is not enticed by evil matters, and He entices no one. But each one is enticed when he is drawn away by his own desires and trapped. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin. And sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death. Do not go astray, my beloved brothers. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of light, with whom there is no change, nor shadow of turning. Having purposed it, He brought us forth by the Word of truth, for us to be a kind of first-fruits of His creatures.”

1 John 5:17, "All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not unto death."

John 8:26-29, “I have much to say and to judge concerning you. But He who sent Me is true, and what I heard from Him, these Words I speak to the world. They did not know that He spoke to them of the Father. So יהושע said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Aḏam, then you shall know that I am He, and that I do none at all of Myself, but as My Father taught Me, these words I speak. And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him.”

John 12:48-50, "12:48, "“He who rejects Me, and does not receive My Words, has one who judges him: the Word that I have spoken shall judge him in the last day. Because I spoke not from Myself, but the Father who sent Me has given Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, as the Father has said to Me, so I speak.”

John 7:16-17, "יהושע answered them and said, If anyone desires to do His desire, he shall know concerning the teaching, whether it is from YHWH, or whether I speak from Myself."

John 5:25-30, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of YHWH. And those having heard shall live. For as the Father possesses life in Himself, so He gave also to the Son to possess life in Himself, and He has given Him authority also to do judgment, because He is the Son of Aḏam. Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the tombs shall hear His voice, and shall come forth – those who have done right, to the resurrection of life, and those who have practiced evil matters, to a resurrection of judgment. Of Myself I am unable to do any matter. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own desire, but the desire of the Father who sent Me."

Romans 2:12, “For as many as have sinned without the Law, will also perish without the Law, and as many as have sinned in the Law, will be judged by the Law.”

2 Corinthians 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, that each one may receive his reward according to what he has done in the body, whether righteous or evil.”

judgment seat” is word #G968 - béma: a step, raised place, by impl. A tribunal, Original Word: βῆμα, ατος, τό, Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter, Transliteration: béma, Phonetic Spelling: (bay'-ma), Short Definition: the space covered by a step of the foot, a tribunal, Definition: an elevated place ascended by steps, a throne, tribunal.

John 14:23-24, "יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me.”

Matthew 25:31-34, “And when the Son of Aḏam comes in His esteem, and all the set-apart messengers with Him, then He shall sit on the throne of His esteem. And all the nations shall be gathered before Him, and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats. And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the Sovereign shall say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the reign prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

I have one question for you Jackson, How many time have I answered this same question of yours about the death penalty? More than 5 times?

Then the Sovereign shall say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the reign prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

I have one question for you Jackson, How many time have I answered this same question of yours about the death penalty? More than 5 times?
let me ask you question HO many time I have to remind you that congregation must kill sabbath violator

not judge, or you change the verse and you believe These verse pass away?

[h=1]Numbers 15:32-35King James Version (KJV)[/h]32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
34 And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.
35 And the Lord said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation (you change to judge) shall stone him with stones without the camp

so you want to correct the word, you think this verse wrong or pass away and God make mistake? God say congregation must stoned sabbat violator (verse 35) and you say God make mistake, judge must stoned sabbath violator.

let me ask you question HO many time I have to remind you that congregation must kill sabbath violator

not judge, or you change the verse and you believe These verse pass away?

Numbers 15:32-35King James Version (KJV)

32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.

God say congregation must stoned sabbat violator (verse 35) and you say God make mistake, judge must stoned sabbath violator.

an all the congregation will carry out judgement at the proper time, guided by the Judge/Messiah:

Revelation 19:11-16, “And I saw the heaven opened, and there was a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Trustworthy and True, and in righteousness He judges and fights. And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns, having a Name that had been written, which no one had perceived except Himself – and having been dressed in a robe dipped in blood (Isaiah 63:2) and His Name is called: The Word of יהוה. And the armies in the heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations. And He shall shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of the Almighty Strength. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: SOVEREIGN OF SOVEREIGNS AND MASTER OF MASTERS.”

Hebrews 4:12-13, “For the Word of Yah is living, and working, and sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through even to the dividing of being and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all are naked and laid bare before the eyes of Him with whom is our account.”

Revelation 19:7-9, “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him praise, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife prepared herself. And to her it was given to be dressed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteousness of the set-apart ones. And he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ And he said to me, “These are the true words of יהוה.”

1 Corinthians 6:1-6, “Should any of you, holding a matter against another, go to be judged before the unrighteous, and not before the set-apart ones? Do you not know that the set-apart ones shall judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Do you not know that we shall judge messengers (angels/fallen angels)? How much more, matters of this life? If then you truly have judgments of this life, do you appoint them as judges who are least esteemed by the assembly? I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise one among you, not even one, who shall be able to judge between his brothers? But brother against brother goes to be judged and that before unbelievers!”

In the times when moses was alive who made judgement if a party was innocent or guilty? The whole congregation? or an appointed judge?

Deuteronomy 16:18-20, “Appoint judges and officers within all your gates, which יהוה your Mighty One is giving you, according to your tribes. And they shall judge the people with righteous right-ruling. Do not distort right-ruling. Do not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous. Follow righteousness, righteousness alone, so that you live and inherit the land which יהוה your Mighty One is giving you.”

Hebrews 10:26-31, “For if we sin purposely after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice offering for sins, but some fearsome anticipation of judgment, and a fierce fire which is about to consume the opponents. Anyone who has disregarded the Torah of Mosheh dies without compassion on the witness of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment do you think shall he deserve who has trampled the Son of יהוה underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was set apart as common, and insulted the Spirit of favor? For we know Him who has said, “Vengeance is Mine, I shall repay, says יהוה.” And again, יהוה shall judge His people.” It is fearsome to fall into the hands of the living Father."

Jackson, I am not trying to be rude but you error in not knowing the Scriptures well, you try to pick certain verses to testify against YHWH's Law, this is not right. I do not know everything but I have studied His word diligently for years, lead by no man or no church or no denomination, only by His Spirit, I will say it again, the Messiah is the Judge, I nor any man on earth has not at this time been appointed as a judge.

Thats probably where you got it wrong. Correction by a common church is needed.

So you believe the word that say not to kindle fire not pass away?

Is that why you not cook oN sabbath?

But kill sabbath violator pass away?
You have already been told that the Sabbath is given time to spend with God..not spend hours in the kitchen preparing and cooking food. The Sabbath is primarily for eating 'spiritual food' with the Father and the Son !!! Cook all you want on other 6 days.

and dealing with a persistant violater has 'not passed away but is 'deferred until a later time when GOD will judge and carry out sentence !...that is NT teaching.

The violaters are now in the time of God's Grace when they can learn to become obedient and not offend God any more/learn to do His Will.
Seems you are incapable of grasping the purpose of Grace which is for YOUR ( a violater's) benefit !!!

You are squandering precious time which will eventually run out and you will face death.

I hope you understand that the DISobedient will NOT be in the Kingdom of God...NOW is the time of Grace/Pardon when you can repent of your sin and change.
I am not going to keep telling you over and over...you are intelligent enough to understand what is being said !

Jackson you are so far behind in understanding you are still wandering about in the wilderness !!! A whole NT has been written for centuries of which you have no knowledge...so a single verse is not going to work miracles for you.
Christ's Grace and forgiveness is totally passing you by while you are still groping in the dark and not letting go of the OT observances. The 'letter of the law demanded instant punishment...the Grace of the NT is of love and time for teaching and correction.
Sorry for 'plain speaking but all else seems lost on you ! this will have to be my last effort as you can't seem to be helped !

Hello Jackson, my friend

You should listen to Shamah and beta my dear friend. They are only trying to help you.

All your questions have already been answered so many times already with God's Word, but you ignore all the posts and scriptures sent to you to help you.

It is ok my friend you are free to choose what you wish to of course. Your salvation is between God and you. Please do not feel you need to answer to anyone here. Maybe you can pray about it all at home.

Just for your interest though your questions have been answered with God's Word in the following posts as well if you want to go back and read them ....

CIVIL LAW of ISRAEL.... Post # 3426; Post # 3721......

COOKING on Sabbath.. - POST # 3654; Post # 3726.

If you do not know how to respond to these posts and the scriptures in them it is ok. Please pray about it at home.

However, simply ignoring the posts and the scriptures sent to you does not make God's Word disappear. They are there for all to see. If you do not BELIEVE. I do not judge you. This is between you and God.

..............

If disagree with any of the above posts please answer the posts above that you have not responded to using scriptures.
If you cannot you it is wise to BELIEVE and FOLLOW the Word of God.

Those who break God's Commandments and teach against God's LAW and the prophets will not enter the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

.............

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30-31).

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.
