I'm actually still reading through The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe. Yes, I like it.

Name 3 movies that have had a lasting impression on you.
The Patriot, Phantom of the Opera, and Random Harvest.

How do you feel about tofu?

Its one of the few movies I actually own on DVD lol.
I have the DVD/Blueray combo, and own a digital copy on Amazon.... so I can watch it on my phone if needed. Along with Red Dawn, and the Hunt for Red October.

I literally just watched Red Dawn for the first time today. And the two characters I liked most died first. *sigh*

Indeed, it was. I always try to watch/read whatever came out first. Plus the 80's were great.
Don't waste your time on the remake.

Red Dawn is one of the greatest movies ever made.

It was good. I particularly loved how the female protagonists were able to be tough and fierce while fully clothed.

I reckon Powers Boothe was alright.

War is hell. They gave up their lives so this nation should not perish from the earth.

My father took me to see Red Dawn at the theater. I was 5, and it had a profound effect on my life.

Its my type of movie, I just resent that my favorite character died. And my second favorite character. But yes, they did die noble deaths. My only consolation.

Sometimes life is about fighting for the next generation. Fighting doesn't always involve weapons or war.

The Hunt for Red October is another great movie. My grandmother took me to see it when I was 10.
