Currently 45 degrees in Clearwater FL..... You got to remember it's all relative.... We put on sweaters lower than 70 so the Blond is freezing her butt off.....Sitting in my home with my jacket on....I'm a die hard and refuse to turn on the heat. Tourist wears long johns to bed...lol

Normal around here is 80's and 90's in the summer.

I only get kitties declawed when they are kittens as the cartlidge turns into bone after a year old and very painful for them. They are over 2 years old now and we have had them 2 years as of November 21. Just the front claws they still have the back claws.

I've lived in Florida since September of 1979 so my blood is thin now and I cry like a baby.... However, I don't turn my heat on to save money in the winter months. Sitting with a jacket on inside my house to try and stay warm.... Yes, I'm a baby....lol

I have only ever known Pentecostal and charismatic churches. Sure I've driven by others but due to them not being my family's type, I never went in.

I've always felt lost, as if everything was a mystery.. would beat myself up because I was stupid and never got it right enough to experience to much of anything.......

Joined this site and started seeing all types of beliefs and words I never knew existed.

It wasn't until I watched DC and others be so adamant in defending what they believed that I started looking up these different ways and people mentioned.

I know my grammar is terrible. That's why I don't write lengthy posts... But I do want to thank the ones who TRULY know the Bible in a concrete, definable, certain way.. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for putting out material links.


As I continue to learn I'm sure I'll be apologizing to some for defending beliefs that lead to places no human should allow themselves to go so easily.

It's a lot to take in. My world has been flipped, everything is in question. It's heartbreaking to say the least..

I feel for you, sister. I was exposed to many denominations and beliefs growing up and I still question. But God encourages us to question and test, it helps us grow.

Adversity hurts, Pruning hurts, Truth hurts. It can be very hard to have the dead growth cut off. Just hang on to God through it all and be open to His truth and love and justice and mercy.

I am someone who was brought up in a Hispanic Pentecostal church and still do. I've always defended it here however I have an open mind and understand the other beliefs of people on this site. I won't say I blindly defend it or follow it but i feel comfortable where I am. There might be a day my eyes get opened more and explore more and I respect everyone's beliefs, however not their attacks on said type of churches.
