All done away with.

The old is done away with. It is an abomination to God and always has been.

Isaiah 1:11 “What to me is the multitude of your sacrifices? says the Lord; I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of well-fed beasts; I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of goats.

Isaiah 1:13 Bring no more vain offerings; incense is an abomination to me. New moon and Sabbath and the calling of convocations— cannot endure iniquity and solemn assembly.

Psa 40:6 In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required.

Amos 5:22 Yea, though ye offer me your burnt-offerings and meal-offerings, I will not accept them; neither will I regard the peace-offerings of your fat beasts.

1Sa 15:22 "Tell me," Samuel said (to Saul). "Does the LORD really want sacrifices and offerings? No! He doesn't want your sacrifices. He wants you to obey him.

---------------------------------------------------------

This is what is required.

Hosea 6:6 For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

Mar_12:33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Micah 6:8 He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.”
NOW PS,

Seriously? We should throw out all the scriptures stating God's LAW (10 commandments) are forever because you say they are not required and in support of what you are saying you quote the Mosaic laws for remission of SIN.

It seems like you have not read or understood any of the scriptures which is a shame. You use Old testament scriptures to quote the Mosaic laws for remission of SINS that have nothing to do with the purpose of God's LAW in the Old and New Covenants.

We are not in the OLD Covenant now my friend we are in the NEW Covenant. If you read the OP scriptures you would understand this.

God's LAW (10 commandments) however are FOREVER and the standard of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS and the KNOWLEDGE of Good and Evil and the standard in the Judgement to come (Romans 3:20: Romans 7:7; James 2:11; 1 John 3:4).

If you do not have God's LAW you have no knowledge of SIN. If you do not KNOW what SIN is then you do not know you are a SINNER in NEED of a Savior. If you have no need of a Savior you have NO Salvation. If you have no SALVATION you are LOST.

Can you see where your reasoning is leading you?

.........................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men every where to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

Hope this helps..

let's compare who is leading who. I am led by the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe in him for salvation, because he said to .

you are led by the teaching of ellen white, which says one must keep the Sabbath, and denies the sin nature we are have, and therefore teaches that one can be sinless. ( wrong on both ).

you can dodge this all you want, but folks, with a quick search, can see exactly what she and the sda says and what you say match.

I just did answer you from God's word, He wants the sacrifice of our hearts, but it went over your head. Think I might put you on ignore.

Well gb9, there is no truth in your post whatsoever. In fact the Jews in the days of Jesus use to do the exact same thing to Jesus. There reason why they believed they were God's people was because they said we are the Children of Abraham. Jesus reply was that If you were the Children of Abraham you would do the works of Abraham all the while trying to work out how they might kill Jesus because they believed he had a devil. Jesus reply to them was that if you were the children of Abraham you would do the works of Abraham.

The devils BELIEVE in Christ but they are not saved because they do not FOLLOW him who loves all. ONLY those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God are His people. Those who BELIEVE and do not FOLLOW are still in their SINS and do not KNOW him who is caling them. Those who continue in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will not enter into God's KINGDOM.

It is on the WORD of God we stand or FALL. If you build your house on the sand great shall be the fall thereof..

Helllo PS, no you did not answer it at all. You said God's LAW was done away with. How can you separate God's LAW from LOVE. It is LOVE that fulfills God's LAW in those who walk in the SPIRIT. (Romans 13:8-10; Romans 8:1-4). God's LAW is the standard of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS and the KNOWLEDGE of Good and Evil and the standard of the judgemen to come. IF we KNOWINGLY break God's commandments we do not KNOW him who is calling us.

notice, at no point does lovegodforever say he does not follow ms. white's teaching. silence is deafening sometimes, is it not??

and, I do not need your help. I can read up on sda teaching, invented by 3 people in the 1800's. i'll pass and stick to the Bible, which at no point puts gentiles under the law.

It is given to the blind to have eyes to see and ears to hear and the lame to walk while those seeing see not. Those hearing hear not and those walking walk not. This is because spiritual things are spiritually discerned. They that be whole do not need the physician but those that are sick seek him. Many do not know the meaning because they have run out of oil and their lamps have gone out. Many are called but few are chosen...

Exactly what is this New Covenant? The Old Testament and New Testament are man's terminology for separating the books of the bible from before the birth of Jesus until after His birth. The books themselves, chapters, and verses were also organized by man so as to make it more readable and easier to follow. There is only one Word of God.

Jesus said that the commandments could summed up and followed if you love your neighbor as yourself, He did not say that they were obsolete. The forth commandment states to 'remember it'. Nowhere in the bible does it now say to forget about it. The commandments are the law and without the law there would be no knowledge of sin. It states that also in the bible. Are you saying that sin is obsolete too?

We are not saved by following the law or by works but only in the faith that Jesus died for our sins. The bible does says that we are to repent of our sins but that is part of the salvation process. We can't ask for forgiveness of sins if we are unwilling to repent of them, so without forgiveness of sin and Jesus paying the penalty for our sins salvation is impossible. This requires faith that Jesus did indeed save us from the penalty of sin.

Any works performed are a manifestation of our faith but do not in themselves save us, only Jesus dying on the cross makes that possible. The reason Jesus died for us is because He loves us. God is love. It says that in the bible too.
Great post tourist, thanks for sharing OBEDIENCE is the FRUIT of Faith. If there is NO FRUIT then FAITH is dead and the tree is cast down and thrown into the FIRE. SIN will keep all those who knowingly practice it out of God's Kingdom.

God will wink at the ignorant but when a KNOWLEDGE of the TRUTH is come calls all men everywhere to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at hand...

Those practicing sin will not be saved on the day of Judgement….

The scripture says it is only those that hear and believe God’s Word that receive everlasting life and are not condemned and have passed from death to life. It is God’s Word not mine that says……

Psalms 1:5

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

Psalms 9:8
And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

Ecclesiastes 12:14
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Matthew 12:36,
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

John 9:39,
And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind

Act 17:31,
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Romans 2:5,
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Romans 2:6,
Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

2 Corinthians 5:10,

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

2 Corinthians 5:11,
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Hebrews 9:27,
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Hebrews 10:26,
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Hebrews 10:27,
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

James 2:12,
So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

James 2:13,
For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

2 Peter 2:9
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

2 Peter 3:7
,
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Jude 1:14-15,
Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him

Revelation 14:7 Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Daniel 7:10

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Revelations 20:12
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Psalms 119:172,
My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are “righteousness”.

Hebrew meaning righteousness צדק tsedeq tseh'-dek From H6663; the right (natural, moral or legal) morally and legally right; righteous צדּיק tsaddı̂yq tsad-deek' From H6663; just: - just, lawful, righteous (man).

Greek meaning righteousness δικαιοσύνηdikaiosunēdik-ah-yos-oo'-nay From G1342; equity (of character or act); specifically (Christian) justification: - righteousness.
righteous δίκαιος dikaios dik'-ah-yos From G1349; equitable (right doing in character or act); by implication innocent, holy (absolutely or relatively): - just, meet, right (-eous)

So from God’s Word we have the definition of righteousness. God says the definition of “righteousness” according to His Word is his 10 commandments The Hebrew and Greek meaning of righteousness is to be morally and legally right; lawful character of act, innocent and holy (right doing).

Psalms 119:142,
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

Psalms 9:8
And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

Act 17:31
Because he hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

James 2:10-12
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. So speak, ye and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

Ecc 12:13-14
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

1 Peter 4:17,
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

So yep according to God’s Word there will be a judgement for all mankind and we will be judged according to God’s Word.

He that rejects me, and receives not my words, hath one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (John 12:48)

The Gospel of works

According to

Lovegodforever

(Basically all Christians spanning 2000 years are condemned according to loveforgod)

Post=2359:

Iti s SIN that will keep all who practice it out of God's Kingdom. If any knowinly practice man made traditions that lead to breaking of God's commandments then it is simple. SIN is transgression of God'sL AW. IF there is NO REPENTANCE and SEEKING God for forgiveness then the tree is cast down and thrown into the fire. As it was in the days of Noah and Soddom so shall it be at the coming of the son of man...

God'sWord is very clear that the Judgements of God are only received by breaking God's Law (any of God's 10 commandments, Isaiah 26:21,13:11, Psalms 37:38, Rom 2:5-6, 12, Prov 11:21, Heb 9:27, Jer 21:14,Isaiah 59:18, Matt 3:10, 12, 1Cor 6:9-10, 2Pet 3:7 and 1Thess 5:3).Even if we break one of God's 10 commandments we are guilty before God of breaking all of his Law (James 2:10-11).

God's Word also tells us that the "Beast" and his "Mark"is received as the Roman Catholic Church unites with the USA and the nations of the world to enforce a national Sunday law. All who believe and obey, this law will receive the "Mark of the Beast"and the Judgements of God (Rev 13 and 14) because they turn from God by disregarding his 7th Day Sabbath to follow man made traditions (Ex20:8-11, Mark 7:7). https://www.beastsmark.com/sealofgod website advertised by LGF

Hello Phil, This post was already addressed earlier and shown for what it is, did you forget it?

Hello Phil my friend how are you today?

I think you are getting yourself a bit mixed up. You give a post title called.....

"The Gospel of works According toLovegodforever (Basically all Christians spanning 2000 years are condemned according to loveforgod)"
Then you post a topic from the website on SIN and how SIN will keep all who practice it out of God's Kingdom and add sections highlighted into the post that I have not written.

[worshipping on a Sunday - see above]
Now taking bits and pieces out of a part of a post and putting your own title to it and adding sections into a post that was not written into the post to give it a different meaning to what it is saying is a little dishonest don't you think?

The post is true however and is consistent to what is being shared here at CC. KNOWN SIN will keep all who practice it out of God's Kingdom.
and again..........

Hello Phil36,

It is not my work my friend it is God that says SIN will keep all who knowingly practice it out of God's Kingdom not me. It does not say that Christians of all time are lost at all. Only you say this. The scriptures are provided in the last post you sent so do not need to repeat them here.... or maybe I should? I am happy to share them if you do not know them?

What I also find amusing is that you take a small section out of larger post put your own heading and insertions into a post to make it say something that it is not. This is sad for you my friend.

Below is is also a section under the what you posted. I am just curious why you did not also include it?

What do we need to do?

All of us have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23) and the wages of sin is Death but God has made a way of escape for us (Romans 6:23). For God so loved the world that he gave us his only boggott0n son, that whosoever should believe on him, including his death on the cross for our sins will not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). This is a free gift from God to you to help you to be ready for His soon coming (Romans 5:15-18). We need to repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand (Matthew 4:17). God's judgements are coming! God's has promised us His seal and it is a free gift to all who will take it.

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men everywhere to repent (Act 17:30-31). To receive the seal of God we must 1. Repent and be baptized (turn away from all sin you know about) by seeking God everyday, (Rev 3:19, Matt 3:2, Matt 4:17, Mark 1:15, Luke 13:3-5, Acts 2:38), 2. Confess your sins to God in private to him and he will forgive your sins and will cleanse you from all wrong doing and save you from the coming judgements as you believe His Word (1John 1:9) 3. Seek God with all of your heart through His Word (Matt 6:33, Isa 55:6-7, Jer 29:13 ) 4. Believe His Word. God's Word is His power of creation. God wants to create us in His own image and save us from our sins as we have faith and believe the promises in His Word (2Pet 1:4, Rom 1:17, Rom 3:22-25, 5:1, 10:17, Heb 11, 1John 1:9, 2Pet 1:4).

Today if you will hear his voice harden not your heart for God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2Peter 3:9). Seek ye the Lord while he may be found call upon him while he is near; Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon (Isaiah 55:6-7).
and again.....

So Phil, are you stuck for words and cannot respond to the posts I have sent you?

Just re-posting the same post over and over does not magically make it come true when you have been caught out doing something that is not honest.

If you are at peace with what you believe and do then fine you are free to move on. If your not I am happy to talk with you further. Otherwise let's agree to disagree and remain friends. There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed and each one of us are required to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.

Those who are in the Lord will have peace and LOVE through FAITH and are free to FOLLOW him who LOVES all. Those that do not FOLLOW him do not KNOW him and should seek him while he may be found and call upon him while he is near...

Tommorrow may be too late..
.................

I think that last response just above this is relevant again for this post and will leave you to consider it again...

Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it

IN times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men every where to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (
Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?[/QUOTE]

Post=2359:

Hello my friend,

It is only bad news for those who are still in their SINS. Those who are free to LOVE are free indeed and KNOW Him who loves all and FOLLOW him because they hear His Voice (the Word). There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed.

God's sheep hear His Voice

GOD WORK AND WORD ARE FOREVER = 10 COMMANDMENTS

Let's look at the scriptures.......

Ecclesiastes 3
14,
I know that, WHATSOEVER GOD DOES, IT SHALL BE FOREVER: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God does it, that men should fear before him.

Did God make the ten commandments then His Word says they are FOREVER.......................

Exodus 31
18,
And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, WRITTEN WITH THE FINGER OF GOD.

Did God speak the 10 commandments to His people personally? Well YES he did so they are FOREVER......................

Exodus 20
1, And GOD SPOKE ALL THESE WORDS, SAYING,
2, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.1
3, Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4, Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5, Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6, And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7, Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8, Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9, Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10, But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12, Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13, Thou shalt not kill.
14, Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15, Thou shalt not steal.
16, Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17, Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
18, And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.
19, And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

If God's Word is the ten commandments as shown above, The scriptures tell us that God's Word is FOREVER.........

Isaiah 40
8,
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but THE WORD OF OUR GOD SHALL STAND FOREVER.

1 Peter 1
25,
But THE WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Psalms 119
89, YOUR WORK O LORD IS ETERNAL
; it stands firm in the heavens.
[SUB]Matthew 24
35, Heaven and earth will pass away, but MY WORDS WILL NOT PASS AWAY.
[/SUB]

The 10 commandments are God's Word therefore are FOREVER...............................

Does God change?

Numbers 23
19 God is not human, that he should lie, NOT A HUMAN BEING THAT HE SHOULD CHANGE HIS MIND. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Hebrews 13
8,
Jesus Christ is THE SAME yesterday and today and FOREVER

Malachi 3
6, I THE LORD DO NOT CHANGE.
So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed

Summary; God does NOT CHANGE his WORD is the Ten Commandments so they are FOREVER. The 10 commandments are the WORK OF GOD so they are FOREVER.

...................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we break any one of the ten we stand guilty before God of SIN (James 2:8-11) and need to repent and seek his forgiveness (Proverbs 28:13; 1 John 2:1; 1 John 1:9). Those that continue a life in known unrepentant sin will not enter into God's Kingdom (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is NO SCRIPTURE that says that God's 4th commandment has been ABOLISHED and we are now COMMANDED to keep Sunday as a HOLY day..................

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.

The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. It seems like all doctrines not of Grace always try to burden us with works tied to Salvation even water baptism which is still ignorantly taught. Again another work hung around our necks to perform. Not many appreciate what John the Baptist had to say.

For me all I know is after the Lord led me to repentance and sealed me with the baptism of the Holy Spirit all I need to do is cast my care upon the Lord and love others as myself. Law fulfilled.

The wife of Moses was the daughter of a Midianite priest called Zipporah. She was an Ethiopian woman, or in the Hebrew, “a Cushite woman.” Arabia was usually called in Scripture the land of Cush, its inhabitants were the descendants of Noah's son of Ham (see on Exo_2:15) and were a vile and contemptible race (see on Amo_9:7). (Jamison, Fawcett and Brown)

Exo 2:16-22
16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father's flock.
17 And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.
18 And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?
19 And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock.
20 And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that ye have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.
21 And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.
22 And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.

Moving on to Numbers chapter 12 we read

"And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman."

These were the descendants of Ham, a son of Noah and you will be familiar with the curse of Ham? Amos 9:8 tells us the Lord GOD of hosts was going to destroy this sinful kingdom.

Amo 9:5-8
5 And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
6 It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.
7 Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
8 Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.

The mountain of God was on land belonging to the tribe of Midian and Moses married the daughter of a Middianite priest. It was in the High places on the mountain tops that the alters to the false gods were made and long after the settlement in Canaan this region continued to be regarded as the abode of Yahweh (Judg. v. 4; Deut. xxxiii. 2 sqq.; i Kings xix. 8 sqq. &c.).
(Jamison, Fawcett and Brown).
Exodus 2:15

Moses fled ... and dwelt in the land of Midian - situated on the shore of the Eastern gulf of the Red Sea, and occupied by the posterity of Midian, the son of Abraham (Ge 25:7) - their kindred with Israel, and their adherence to the primitive faith, being, doubtless, the reason of his taking refuge among them. The territory extended northward to the top of the gulf, and westward far across the desert of Sinai. And from their position near the sea, they early combined trading with pastoral pursuits (Ge 37:28). The headquarters of Jethro are supposed to have been where Dahab-Madian now stands; and from Moses coming direct to that place, he may have traveled with a caravan of merchants. But the site of the "land of Midian" is not known. Josephus describes it as by the Red Sea. Dr. Beke and others hold that it lay in the widespread plains of the Ghor.

Sat down by a well, ['al hab[SUP]a'[/SUP]eer] - by the well, a well-known watering-place; and it was 'noon' (Josephus 'Antiquities, b. ii., ch. xi. , sec. 1). See the note at Gen 29:3.

Amos 9:7

Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the Lord - however great ye seem to yourselves. Do not rely on past privileges, and on my having delivered you from Egypt, as if therefore I never would remove you from Canaan. I make no more account of you than of "the Ethiopian" (cf. Jer 13:23).

Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir? "Have not I (who) brought you out of Egypt," done as much for other peoples? For instance, did I not bring "the Philistines (notes, Isa 14:29, etc.) from Caphtor" where they had been bond-servants, and the Syrians from Kir? (cf. Dt 2:23; note, Jer 47:4.) Pusey thinks there were different migrations of the same tribe into Palestine, which afterward merged in one common name. The first must have been that of the "Casluhim, out of whom came Philistim" (Ge 10:14): a second from the Captorim, a kindred people, both being descended from Mizraim (Caphtor answers to Cappadocia); a third was the Cherethim (the Cretans; Crete being an intermediate resting-place in their migrations). It is appropriate that as the Syrians migrated into Syria from Kir (cf. note, Isa 22:6, "Kir uncovered the shield"), so they should be carried back captive into the same land (note, Am 1:5; 2 Ki 16:9), just as elsewhere Israel is threatened with a return to Egypt, whence they had been delivered. The "Ethiopians" - Hebrew, Cushites-were originally akin to the race that founder Babylon: the cuneiform inscriptions found in the mounds of Chaldea Proper being in the Babylonian tongue, the vocabulary of which is proved to be Cushite or Ethiopian, thereby confirm independently the Scripture statement which had been thought by rationalists a mistake of Moses, or the writer of Genesis (Ge 10:6,8,10, "The sons of Ham, Cush (Ethiopia), and Mizraim (Egypt) ... and Cush begat Nimrod ... And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel ... out of that land he went out into Assyria," (margin).

I have cited JFB in full for both your cited references; and I fail to find the words vile or contemptible anywhere'
Would you kindly point them out by bolding them?
Plagiarism is rightly frowned upon; but attributing to well known scholars remarks that are out of character is IMO even worse! I am reporting you for fraudulent misrepresentation

Hi PS,

Some comments for your website paste in BLUE below

............................

This rest was for all of Israel - servants and slaves as well as visitors.
i. This is an important principle that might be too easily passed over. Here God declared the essential humanity and dignity of women, slaves, and strangers, and said they had the same right to a day of rest as the free Israeli man. This was certainly a radical concept in the ancient world.

I have little use for most of what PS has to say; but, he is citing David Guzik here (albeit completely out of context)

This is quite true whether you care to accept it or not.
