Some things seem irreversible. So also this idea of gay marriage. We should always fight and speak our mind when lawmakers go against the word of God but we should also respect and pray for our leaders.
The LGBT movement has won this battle and will try to expand their agenda. That is where we need to be. To prevent them go even further in their attempts to ruin the family and the marriage institution.
I give you some examples from Norway.
A couple of years ago the LGBT movement hijacked the church election and voted in pro LGBT in both local, regional and national church councils. Result: the church is now obliged to perform gay weddings in churches across Norway.
Also a couple of years back a vicar entered the church service waving a rainbow flag "repenting for the church's ill treatment of the LGBT movement (she happened to be an old classmate of mine)
The crown princess showed her support to a gay male couple and "their" baby, using her diplomatic rights to go to pick up the child from the surrogate mother in India.
The government supports free assisted fertilisation treatment of Lesbian couples from 2009. Gay couples have also the same rights to adopt and be foster parents.
So. What I am trying to say, the LGBT agenda is past the point of marriage, and we need to be there to stop it entering our churches and harming innocent children.
Yes. The world has gone mad. We should pray for our leaders and for our church leaders and try to be on top of the discussion. Not barking ten steps behind.
