The principal of comparing and contrasting one sin against another accomplishes nothing. Sin leads to death first Spiritual death then physical death. If one has offended the law in one point they have offended the whole law.
None of us is without sin. We all have offended the law in not one point but many points and far more often than we ought. We are to ashamed of our sin not proud of it.
Can we forgive the Sodomite and not condone their sin? That is what we are to do. Jesus loves all sinners but they are already condemned if they do not turn to Him and seek forgiveness.
Paul considered himself chiefest among sinners but the grace of God greater than his sin.

Stop The Virtue signaling. Because it's still a human rights issue. Black people were stripped of their civil rights just because of the the color of their skin. And they had the backing of the religious right because they thought the Bible Justified oppressing black people. You want to know why black people are Christians today? Because it was beaten into their ancestors when they were kidnapped from Africa. Gay rights is really no different. The religious right seeks to strip them of their civil rights based on Christian theocracy. It's called Christian privilege.
Everything I'm saying is true and historically documented. Africans had their own religion before they were kidnapped by Europeans and brought to America in Chains. They were taught Christianity by force to keep them docile and obedient. The white supremacist movement of the 50s and 60s believe that black people are a cursed people and are subservient to white people.
The Mormons began with a similar philosophy.
