this is usually TRUE, Mar,

but when The Holy Spirit intervenes and tells us His will, we will,
come-down-hard, in His Name, but only for His purpose and Glory...
and for those who have a bit of His Love and Understanding, 'we can only pray',
that they 'get it'..

Favorite TV Program

Forgive my not replying to this question when it was first posted. I looked high and low, but I could not find the original posted question.

At present, my favorite TV program here in Spain is a program in syndication called "Agatha Christi's Poirot." I think M. Suchet's rendition of the character is truly superior....

The Bible says that whatsoever that Is not of faith Is sin.
If the preacher on Saturday or Sunday says turn
around and greet your neighbor but when you turn around
there Is someone there that you don’t like but you look them
In the eye and smile,Is that sin?

There are only 5 living people I do not like. (I tend to look for excuses to like even those who appear to be unlikeable.)
(Uncle Doug, man & woman next door, man & woman at BH)
But when I see one of those 5, I don't dislike them enough to treat them with disrespect. Sure, I can smile genuinely. The only ones I can come close to treating with disrespect are the man and woman next door. I just remind myself each time that the woman's main troubles are extreme physical pain, anger, and disappointment while the man's troubles are alcohol and being caring enough to stay with his wife and to support her.

I don't think I am being disingenuous to treat them with friendliness.

Your example is obdience, not sin.

Perhaps this chance request of the preacher is designed to heal the rift, only God knows.

There are many people of whom I cannot approve of with a clear conscience. This does not mean I do not pray they be saved and blessed, but I cannot fellowship with people I believe to be living in corruption.

Having confessed the above, I also bear in mind always that any given person could be disobedient by the will of god as is written, thus I do not judge anyone to condemnation lest I receive that same judgment.

My major personalities I truly dislike are politicians.... As for the wealthy, I have always had sympathy for the majority, but I have also always kept my distance. No one can change their birth circumstances.

This is not a deep interpretation, but I have always taken it to mean a person is not committed to anything..

If a person tries to receive salvation by keeping the law and be under grace by their works then IMO they are neither hot nor cold.

I used to really enjoy using incense, but today, I tried some, and I didn't find it so pleasant. Just smoky. I felt like I was in a room of smokers.
Can incense get too old to use?

DNo matter of scripture is of one's own interpretation, rather theunderstandign comes from the Holy Spirit.

All with faith will be given works by God, Himself for faith without works is no faith at all.

Disobedience is as idolatry to the Father.

Understanding here is from the Holy Spirit, ergo, written in terms plain to all....
